Damn damn damn, I just sent my car to the garage on Tuesday cuz it didn't want to start for 4 days lmao. and that box had one fuse that was blown (10A A/T cont) we tried everything. I wished I saw this b4 😂.

I believe it's my ipdm. I have cracks/holes at the bottom of my windshield corners. My start button won't come on. But the whole thing runs off the jumper and I just replaced the alternator
I have a 2005 g35 and mine was having the same problem I took it to three different mechanics and none of them were able to fix my problem. Just today I brought it home and seen this video so ima try it out and I’ll let you know how it goes
The ignition coil issue could be associated with the no start problem. Hopefully, so if it is the ipdm box you'll fix 2 birds with one stone. Hopefully it is the ipdm box🤞it's an easy fix. let me know.

Yea the new one already had all the fuses and relays and I even checked to make sure they worked and all of em were good. So now I’m back to ground 0

I’m going to try to change the IPDM! I think I might’ve had a similar problem like this on my ‘06 Altima 3.5. I receive power to everything but no turnover! Hey do you know about the small button next to fuse box above acceleration? Size of penny with tin re pin push in connected to white wire. It doesn't make a click tho
No I'm not sure. My s2000 has a similar button. I never knew what it was for.
So which fuse number is it in that box that controls the obd2 connector? mine won’t read and i’ve hooked it up to 3 scanners and still won’t read but everything in the car works. i wanna start by changing the fuse first and go from there
That I'm not sure. Most of the accessories get power from the BCM (Body Control Module) not the ipdm box. Check the link below might be helpful.

So swap out part until it works? Could have been a fuse on that box or a relay.
I went through all the fuses several times. Couldn't find any blown. Decided to swap out box and it worked🤷🏾♂️

Could be possibly the starter or crank sensor. Among other things. But I don't believe it's an issue with the ipdm box.
I would also like to mention that I have this problem and my ignition coils keep burning up could it be that also another symptom?

I purchased a used ipdm box that came with all the relay and fuses. It fixed my issue. You can try the same.
I’m having a no crank , no start issue with my 08 altima. I only have power on my inside light and brake lights. The radio , the dash, and the door panel for windows and lock button do not work. I wondering if it’s the ECM or IPDM ? The only thing that lights up is the security indicator light on dash that’s it. Any suggestions?
I would try swapping the ipdm first. It's cheaper to replace and it doesn't require programming. Also the BCM controls the windows and door locks. But it might get It's power from the ipdm.
@@Duwop77 turns out it was the battery fuse, it’s been sitting for 10months & I’ve been getting people to look at it. They couldn’t find anything.. I put a new battery fuse on today and it crunk right up ! Thanks for the information!

Yeah after i checked all fuse’s relays, replace battery, i disconnected ipdm, and connected it back and got power to the car, i had no light on the dash at all.i might need to replace it on the future. But it works for now, the thing js the obd2 scanner port not getting power ill have to double check the fuses inside the car again
@@AdanM427 OK. When the car i was working on didn't start the obd2 port wasn't working ether. After I replaced the ipdm box everything kicked in. Yours sound like a bad connection since all you did was unplug and plug back up.

It was my mother in-laws car. I'm not able to do another video on the process. I purchased my ipdm box from Ebay. It was a little over $20, if I remember correctly.

Check the fuses in the ipdm. Make sure one didn't pop. You may have a short that keep blowing a fuse. Just judging by it starting after the ipdm replacement.
My fob stopped working then my car died on the road a few days later it cranks but no start...you think maybe the bcm? My ecm fuse was blown in the ipdm I changed it still crank no start
I might be my ipdm though because the ecm fuse blew in the ipdm an made a little green corrosion an orange rust looking mark on the connection

Yes you can try another ipdm. But also when a car cranks but no start. You usually wanna check for spark and fuel. Check for fuel by spraying starter fluid, brake cleaner or carb cleaner in the throttle body. If the car starts its not getting gas. Also if you found corrosion on the ipdm I would change it.
I read the ecm fuse might blow if the fuel pump is going out because it's trying to bring more power to the fuel pump as it's going out
@@brandonswervy1698 check the fuel pump fuse or relay also. Now would be a good time to check if its getting fuel.
Same problem with Nissan Sentra, changed both already (ECM and IPDM) and issue still persists. 🤷♀️

I have the exact same issue in my fx35 2012 but i can't find the exact same ipdm box for a reasonable price, can the ipdm be fixed or can i put another ipdm module from other car?
I'm not sure if they can be repaired. But if you can find a different vehicle that uses the same ipdm box it should work. Just make sure it has the same fuse layout.
My fans turn on in accessory mode and obd port have no power but car will still start. Would you still recommend me swapping out ipdm

I would still check the ipdm box, it contains a lot of fuses. And the fuse for your horn and mirrors might be located there.
Where did you order your ipdm box was it OEM or remanufactured did they need your last 8 vin to get this part
I ordered it from ebay. No vin is required. I just matched it up and made sure it was the same design as mine. The Ipdm box does not have to be programed. Thanks for watching 😁 👍

Hey man, I have a 2011 g37x, no error codes, no crank no start, no fuses seem blowed, cleaned ground and terminals, I can start he car fine by jumping the starter from the white wire in IPDM. all electronics working normally, opened the BCM and it looks dry as ever
Does the obd2 port work? Or is the fans coming on when the ignition is turned on?

i am having the same issue but my fans aren't on i get power to everything just the car won't start i stay in oklahoma the weather had dropped a couple days ago and that's when my car stopped turning on i thought it was just because the car being froze up but it's a lil warmer now and i still don't get no crank. battery is new alternator is brand new fans are new so im confused if i could have the same solution even if my fans didn't come on like yours did.

No, the ipdm doesn't have to be reprogrammed. Its only a fuse box. The ecu and bcm (body control module) has to be programed. Thanks for watching 😁 👍

Crank and no start, no fuel pump and same with the fan on when the key was turned on and no obd connection. I checked everything and figured bad ecm. Guess I'm going to get the ipdm and see what happens. I'll update in a few days

I’m getting the u1000 code on my m45 and it’s doing the same thing no crank no start and when ignition switch is on the fans are running and heads are on while off
I would follow the same procedure as the video. Change the lease expensive part first. Which would be the ipdm box.
I need help somebody tried to steal my car and erased my key fob then i got cslled a locksmith didnt work had to change the bcm module tried again it communicated with the bcm but it still wasnt communicating with the key and now i think I have to buy a new ipdm box but i want to make sure thats the problem what should I do
If the ipdm box was working b4 someone tried to steal it, it should still be ok. I think your problem is still within communication.

Yes, everything else was still working. Thats a good question. After checking all fuses and swapping the few relays that it had. The only thing that worked was a different ipdm box🤷🏾♂️

Anyways, my car is central and had to check all of the and there's no fucing way that I have double the amount of wiring from secret computer controlling every wire in car even when driving. I didn't want to wait for red when no one was around so I took it to save 30 seconds about 3 seconds later interior lights pop on making. Car super bright at night.as soon as Icheck fuse box turns off. Then seat will forward and up putting head into roof cuz I'm big. Also car will dead stop even with 3 people pushing and I'm strong . It's more like magnetic when the car usually moves inch but not tires

It might be something simple like a fuse. I would check all the under hood fuses. Also the fuses attached to the positive battery terminal. Afterwards I would try replacing the ipdm box.
I have issue fans running and dropping voltage only when i drive.dropping to 11v have new alternator and battery.
I would check the voltage of the battery with the car off. Then while the car is running. If the voltage doesn't go up to at least 13-14 volts with the car running. That new alternator is defective.

I purchased one from ebay. It doesn't have to be matching or programed. Just make sure it's the same type. You can also find them in pick a part/junk yards.
This for sure fixed your issue ?? I was going to pay 800$ off an infiniti wholesale website but i seen one on eBay for 200$. I just dont want to waste my time on a possible faulty part
2008 g35 sedan btw. Ac compressor isn’t getting signal to turn on. Told ipdm was bad
@bobjiorno9046 It fixed my issue. What I did was find one on ebay that had free returns within 30-60 days. And if it didn't fix my issue I was going to send it back. But luckily it did.

@joshnendza1084 been going though this problem with my 09 altima.. it's not a fuse. That ipdm has a computer board with built in relays under them fuses. Them relays fail. Specifically the one that shares a signal with the bcm and escl.

Similar issue for me. 05 Altima cranks but no start. Scanner gets power but won't connect, bought new ecm, still won't read.

Mine was a little different. It wouldn't do anything. The lights and fans came on but thats it. No Crank and no Start. Do you hear the fuel pump prime b4 cranking? If not I would try and locate the fuel pump relay it maybe bad.
Also a test you can do is spray the throttle body with brake or carb cleaner. If it starts its definitely an gas issue.
I have a 2008 Infiniti g35 wont crank but will have full power and turns on.

Thats exactly what my mother inlaw car was doing. Full electrical power. But wouldn't crank. One key thing to Listen to is the cooling fans. If they turn on when the ignition is turned on. Thats a big no no. Check the ipdm box. Thanks for watching 😁 👍

Have to make sure the fuses and replays in the new box are good. Hopefully its not the ecu.

I would give this method a try. It's cheap and easy. Find a ipdm box that works for your model that has all the fuses. Swap it and hopefully you'll have the same luck I did🤞

The fuse for the upper left corner was always empty. Might have been a fuse for a feature her car didn't come with.

Have the same issue but no crank it sounds like it want to turn on but it just stay trying. Not sure if is the battery, i just got the battery. Not sure if is the spark plugs
If its cranking but no start. I would check for fuel and spark. To see if its fuel just spray the throttle body with starting fluid, carb cleaner or brake cleaner. Ether of the 3 will work. If the car starts after doing so. You have a fuel issue. Wish you the best.
@@Duwop77 sorry not sure if I explained it correctly. All the lights turn on, you know that hissing sound the car makes when going to turn on? It just stay hissing like trying to start. But it dont crank at all. Battery is not 2 month old.
@@AlexMedina567 whats the condition of your battery terminals? It could be bad contact. The hissing usually is the fuel pump activating.

@@AlexMedina567 I would check all the fuses. There's 3 fuse boxes. 2 under the hood and one inside the car. Just for a heads up bad sparkplugs or ignition coil will not keep a car from cranking.

My car doesn’t recognize my key and I have an u1000 code, car just go in accessory mode, fans turn on
Code u1000 is indicating that the ECU isn't communicating with the TCM-Transmission Control Module.

@@Duwop77 the funny thing is I had a feeling kinda glad I ran into this video now is there a procedure to remove it
@@jao906 just make sure to remove the negative from the battery. Then your good to start unplugging the ipdm. If I remember correctly its 3 or 4 harness that has to be removed. All should be pinch and pull to release.
Yo Big brodie, i got a 09 370z Sport got a extremely similar issue. I swapped a used engine into my car since it got hydrolocked. But before the swap i knew my car was cranking cause it would crank and my fuel pump would start up. Now after the swap i got a Yellow Key indicator by my fuel aka the "Combination Meter" and i got the Red Car with a Key in it Always on completely solid. My Fob works cause i could Lock/Unlock my doors. Lotta ppl say its the Steering lock but i could fully Cycle the Lock Acc and On positions. Plus my Steering wheel aint locked up. My obd2 cant link also, Anyway i could test my ECM before buying a new one?

i changed no start same symptoms
It also can be that the bcm(body control module) or ecu is bad. I would try the bcm next. Also when you installed the new ipdm box. Did you reuse the fuses from the old ipdm box or different ones?
I just bought this but mines still doin same thing
If you haven't check all the fuses. Even the fuses on the positive battery terminal.
My car start normal everything is normal but my fans stay on all the time , started happening after wife overheated the car

So I’m having same issues. Replaced my ipdm and still unsolved.
Have you tried the ecu? These cars are very frustrating when these problems occur. Does the cooling fans come on with the ignition switch?

When you say hear the starter turn on. Is it rotating the engine?
Or is it the sound of the fuel pump priming?
@@Duwop77 so it was my ecu. I uploaded a corrupt tune file and it bricked my ecu. Yes cooling fans were going. But after ecu got unbricked the cooling fans still constantly ran. So then replaced fan relay and now I’m golden.

The 2 big black ones you have to push the gray part to release it. The smaller ones you just squeeze.
@@bobjiorno9046 The big connectors are simple. Just pull the black levers back. The smaller ones are a little tougher. You have to squeeze and pull.

I got the small black one out but the white one bottom right is giving me trouble
