Wish it could but that would kill the ev range by my guess at least 5-10 miles and for the low range already that could be make or break, it would be cool if they did like Tesla and gave you the option to take off the wheel covers to expose normal non aero wheels.
Good review 👏 I can not wait until you do the comparison between the electric versus trofeo ( price/ acceleration feel). We need to know which one to buy for $100K price range. Hey while you at it, put in a 2 to 3 year old used Levante ( with Ferrari V8 in it).
Thank you ✊🏾 def will be spending more time with this model because there are people out there who want it, so I want to help them figure it out on the best way possible!
Pretty, needs a different wheels. EVs are fun to drive. I rented Polstar 2 and Model Y for 48 hours each and was surprised how much I enjoyed the driving. It's hilarious, reponsive, and a lot of fun, Iack of engine sound didn't bother me that much... strange 🤯 What did bother me was how similar these two cars were to drive, motor feel was exactly the same. EVs kill distinction between cars, a part of a badge they seam all alike. Also, since I'm unable to charge at home, to recharge was a challenge.
You would definitely need to drive more. Coming from a Bolt EV, which is really fun for what it is actually, felt very different from driving the refreshed Model 3s for 2024.
need to wait for the refresh... This car will loose half of its value in 3mt.. 400v with 150kw is just like a Audi E-tron from 2020... Really dont understand why they didnt build it like the the other Folgore Models with 800V and 270kw...
@@adriano8809 It depends on the manufacturer and the market. For example, in Europe, the VW ID3 GTX costs less than the VW Golf R, the situation is similar for the KIA EV3 versus the Niro PHEV or Sportage PHEV, and BMW has the same prices for the EV i4 as for the ICE alternative 420i.Yes, new cars are more expensive than previous generations, but that's not a matter of powertrain, but rather the cost of energy and labour.
For that price, you can get the Maserati Grecale Trofeo for about $4000 more!
This car will definitely have very specific clients that’s for sure!
Unfortunately I think specific clients will mean like 100 sales a year in the US
Just pick one up in a year for 50k
I’m glad they didn’t make it look like an EV and I hope the same for Alfa Stelvio.
🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
That's a weird comment to make. I mean, maybe if we were in 2016, I could understand, but EVs haven't looked like "EVs" in a while.
@@ThousanWhiteMercedes would like a word
I wished it had the combustion grecale rims. The ev rims dont look that good

@@RonsRides they could still add a option for it
Most electric vehicles get ugly wheels just because the car is electric.

They are struggling to sell the gassers here in canada .ill happily keep my levante.i dont see people rushing out to get them.
I really like the spec
Any word on what the non-Folgore 2025 Grecale models are going to bring? Any cosmetic or electronic changes or rumors?
Who else is waiting to see what Alfa does with the Stelvio in 2025?
I am! 🙋🏾♂️
May have missed it in your video but what is the range of this Grecale?
310 on the WLTP cycle but epa here in the states haven’t been confirmed. My guess is 250 miles here.
Is this basically Moonlight Grey?
Yup!!!
@@RonsRides Nice! I'll still take my matte Competizione 😊

😮🔥🔥🔥
It sounds like the intro to Slim Shady

🤩 If they give you the option of piping in the REAL sound of an Maserati ICE vehicle ... Job done

Good question. And the depreciation thing is a song always playing when it comes to Italian cars.
Ron!!!!....grab the keys and charge the car!!!!!
Hahah on it Pauly!!!
So now one grecale costs like 2 Grecale… who is going to buy it?
The Grecale Trofeo starts at $1,000 more than this model.
@@RonsRides but if I want to switch electric from a base Stelvio or Grecale now I need to spend almost twice.
@@RonsRides I mean, it’s like that with all other makers, not just the Italians.

No thanks. Maserati is all about sound. This kills the brand
The wheels are so ugly, though.
All electric....no thank you
