Thanks for the review, it is much appreciated.
Awesome video , food for thought
Damn, I was under the impression that the regular SLP tanks could be used with this. Frontline even says in their specs "Almost any standard tank can work with the blaster, however, the tank provided here is especially fit for the bottle-on stock." Meaning their stock may not fit another tank. That really is a deal breaker for me.
I think a human sized target is more appropriate for around 40+m. I've been using a target around 30x50cm at 30m and 20cm pizza trays at closer ranges.
Darn I'd like to grab one of these things
I'd suggest turning down the background music.
I would've, if my neighborhood were quieter. I can't soundproof my room and the ambient noise of the neighborhood was muuuuuch more aggressive with lower BG music.
Can you show the other handgaurds? I heard there are more of them. Also, how many shots can you get with one co2 cartridge?
Looks like it takes AR-15 grips.
Well executed and insightfull review. That inconsistency is.... not good. Man... Even with your barrel and scar combo it wasn’t as good as one would hope. It is weird because I cannot imagine it is their core. So is it a seal problem? Barrel to lug? Or perhaps pusher to breech? Something is not right with it in any circumstance.
With regards to the barrel mod. Why did you make an adapter rather than thread the barrels directly? Purely to be able to use your existing barrels and give others the option to do the same?
I can see some accuracy improvement by locking the barrel at the front of the handguard with a 3D printed barrel spacer. Nerf barrels don’t need harmonics.
Well done Liam!
The problem, I think, is in the intrinsic turbulence of the blaster's 800psi input. That amount of pressure is not easy to make 'stable' during the firing cycle like 50psi, or even 100psi is in the SUPER Core. That is where I imagine a 300psi input core would fare more consistently over a chronograph.
@@SpectreNerf try it! Simply screw you SLP reg onto the blaster and see what happens. If the blaster will still cycle at that pressure ‘and’ be able to throw the dart out the barrel:
@@nirodha7028 it cannot, I already did :P
@@SpectreNerf hahaha... still editing that video? 😂
@@nirodha7028 I'll DM you the video when I video such a thing. :P
I think the better mechanical option for foam blasters should be AEG similar to airsoft. It is time to do away from pump action and noisy flywheelers.
Then why don't you design one and make it work as reliably as this does.
oh shit i want one
the air efficiency seems like a deal breaker for me.
What's the bolt action blaster at the bottom left of the video?
Hi mate just wondering do you still make hpa cores for nerf as everyone is sold out of cores or are making a very large amount or are you done with nerf hpa And if you are done with making the Super cores do know if someone is willing to make a one off
Hey mate, how did you get one of these in Aus? I would assume customs would have a fit if they saw one.
I filled out a Customs B709A form to import one to Queensland. These will not be able to be imported into any other states as of right now.
What's the OD on that barrel? it looks super chunky.
It's 19mm. And apparently they are looking at revising their next barrel design to 20mm OD. 🤔
@@SpectreNerf weird, any idea why its so big?
@@Vikinger119 yeah, I would wager a guess that they're doing it to accommodate Hyper rounds using the HEAT core as well.
@@SpectreNerf huh ok
How many shots per tank?
How much did the cerakote cost? Would you recommend
Oh mine isn't cerakoted, it's just painted, dipped and clear coated. Costs about $250 for a professionak job. Would probably cost the same for a Cerakote job though.
Hey mate iv lost access to my Facebook. I have somehow lost the air release screw for the co2 stock. Is there any way I can get a new one?
Try contacting Milsig and seeing if they can send you one - if they don't respond, let me know and I'll chase it up for you.
@@SpectreNerf how do I get ahold of milsig? All I could find was milsig direct from the eu. I'm not sure if that's the same pple who make the nerf but I gave them a email anyway
@@dpdog88 oh right, you can't get to them through Facebook. I'll flick Stephen a message and see if he can do anything for me.
@@SpectreNerf hey mate have you got heard anything back about this
@@dpdog88 I've messaged Stephen but he's dragging his feet with a proper response. Kind of annoyed right now.
This is like an M4 frame?
It's a fully-CNC frame from Milsig. I'm not sure I understand the question beyond that I'm sorry.
Visually its similar to an M4, yes.
Worth pointing out, because it's putting out over 1 joule muzzle energy (approx 130fps) and is capable of full auto, it's totally illegal in the UK. Doesn't matter if you only have it set SA, just owning it is a class 5 firearms offence, and will thus be treated the same as an AR-15 or AK-47. While I'd love to see these in the UK, where we're really pushing HPA in the hobby, it's just not worth the risk to the hobby as a whole.
Liam, it pains me to say it, but please don't offer these to UK buyers, even if we ask nicely. Also, you'd be involved in the import of illegal firearms if you did, and our law enforcement might want a word with ya, lol!
If only they offered it in SA only. There's no need for FA with a decent HPA blaster, and likely by simplifying the core it'd improve consistently
I'm contractually bound to sell to Australia only anyway, so I cannot sell these to the UK. It's up to Milsig to sort their own methods of distribution to the Europe region.
question where when how can i buy one an what kinda payment options do you have?
I will explain it all when I open out my ordering via my Facebook page later this month.
@@SpectreNerf and is the price about $399 usd?
@@chorkydorky2187 yes.
@@SpectreNerf so around $520 au?
@@dpdog88 yes.
First lol at 3:43 - don't put your finger in there!!!
KEY WORD: ATTEMPTS!
Where do you get that grip
The angled foregrip I got from BlasterTECH. You can get them from Ebay if his shop isn't a cost effective option for you.
@@SpectreNerf Thank you! Do you recommend any place for the sights? I'm super excited to be getting my gold blaster!
@@bladpalace3728 BlasterTECH as well for the sight I bought!
This can not be considered a replica because it does not look like any of the existing firearms. In order to be considered replica, it should look exactly like a real firearm externally. Just my 2 cents.
