I enjoyed this flosstube very much, thank you for all of the information and inspiration. Your beautiful patterns and your adorable cats brought a smile to my heart. The Q&A was very enlightening into what makes you a great designer. Thank you for taking the time to bring in Linda Hadden , a great resource for anyone wanting more information. Have a great week of stitching and designing, looking forward to your next flosstube. Hugs from sunny Arizona.
Thank you for your time and answering my question. You have so much talent and perspective on stitching and art. I love your new designs. I can't wait to see what you design next.
Your kitty was so wonderful, our kitty passed away from old age not too long ago and seeing yours really made me miss her. Love your new designs. Especially the Quaker one! Wow! And more Christmas please!! Loved your interview and just so much to see and learn. Thank you!
Your new releases are fantastic. I especially like the Yule Cat! I was going to ask you if you knew anything about Spanish Basque needlework, but I got that answer during the video. 😂 My grandmother was from Bilbao and my grandfather was from Guernica. They ended up in the US to escape Franco. Anyway, my grandmother was an accomplished needleworker, dressmaker, and knitter. I’ve always wondered if the Basques had their own sampler style, since they were culturally different from much of Spain. I guess I will need to visit some museums in Spain and start some research!
Thank you Katherine! I would love to learn more myself - Spain, like so many other countries, has such rich and diverse cultural heritage - like Germany, the samplers from the North are completely different from those found in the southern parts, and even a tiny country like the Netherlands has very distinct sampler styles depending on the regions (and within those regions there's again distinct styles!). I think we're quite lucky over here that so much research has been done by very talented people - it would certainly be interesting to see such research applied to other countries a well! :)
You re so dear, Jacob! Your designs are lovely, as always...It was pretty clever of you having Meera introduce her kitty design. Well done, Meera!🤭...Happy stitching!💙
Thanks for the fantastic flosstube. Loved seeing your stitching assistants. @Ellen: a couple of samplers with churches are Amelia Boyce 1829 and SDW 1710, both by the Scarlet Letter.
Such a lovely video, great to have a longer one too. Loved the new designs and their stories, hearing Linda, seeing your gorgeous cat and your wonderful farewell! But Jacob, you left us with two huge unanswered questions from your box of treasures- things I have learned and what I wouldn’t do again! I look forward to that episode in anticipation….❤
Thank you Sarah! Oh yes, Mira does that too - I have dropped needles that she smacked out of my hands with her head-buts! Luckily there was a thread attached to them :P
Love the LOTR and you disappearing after placing the ring...too funny! Enjoyed the silliness so much! Hearing part of your journey to designing Cross-stitch was very interesting. Thank you for sharing your talents & interests with us. Such beautiful pieces of art. Looking forward to many more designs from you and more stitching for me.
Oh my - Betty’s tearoom in York brings back such dear memories! My go-to place when shopping, before moving to the US in 2001! I loved your video - especially your reference to Broek in Waterland - I grew up not far from there, in West Friesland, and still love everything handwork that comes from there! It felt like being “back home” for a moment! I may be tempted to get the pattern for the winter sampler!
Thank you Anke! Yea - I think the Broek area is a little neglected and Marken seems to run away with those borders... so it's time they get their credit for it! :)

HI Dear Jacob ~ did a proper watch now of your Wonderful visit. Such a gifted designer are you - lovely , really. The ' ribbons ' are Fabulous. What marvelous inspiration for your Winter masterpiece. Mira....... Jacob....... I have to say........ she delightfully ' shared ' the stage with your releases. What a SWEETHEART !!!! LOVED her popping in and about. Nice chat with Linda , indeed. Terrific Q and A ! Found it both fascinating and delightful. The reveal that you favor pancakes.... made my vocal analogy of your voice nod to Maple syrup All the more perfect !!!!!! Thank you, Jacob. THRILLED that you will be gifting us with your voice for Christmas !!!! 2 ????? YESSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!! All the very best, and give an extra kiss to Mira from me ! marcia
Loved this video, which was truly epic as promised! I now have a few more charts to add to my wishlist on your website. Mira is charming. I make that same little chirping noise to get my cats' (plural) attention, and when you spoke to Mira my Squeaky was sitting in my lap. She immediately turned to the computer screen to see who was calling her! Very interesting information about the Sampler Guild. And Yorkshire Gold got me going for quite a few mornings before I retired!

Another great video. Nice to see Mira join in. my cat is wadded up in a box next to me on the couch. Doesn’t seem comfy to me, (she barely fits) but she must like it. I got the box to hold my current cross stitch project but she kept climbing in and sitting on my linen….it was easier to give it to her than to try to keep her out! 😂

Hi, Jacob. I had to watch this again. Such a super episode! I also love everything Japanese since I was there a couple of times for weddings. I’m quite obsessed with Japanese quilts, Sashiko and Boro and I made myself some bags and other things in that style. Could I please also register my interest in buying a chart of the York Minster sampler whenever you get to chart it? What a beauty!!!
Thank you Tere! Love Japan... as for the York Minster sampler - I might need to chart her one day! I've got quite a few lined up already before that though so it might take me a while to get to her! :)
😂 LOVE the end! Great to hear about all of your new releases. I purchased Here be Dragons and Here be Lions. I was planning to use dmc 115. I think the variegated red will look really nice.
Afternoon Jacob... I enjoyed all of your video, brilliant Christmas story and talk. I am a member of The Cross Stitch Guild It used to be Jane Greenoff but now Andrea has taken over, Jane is sometimes oan the selly tele with patterns etc... Loved the new patterns, I also have a lot o stitching to get framed. Brilliant song and ending... :) I have been stitching oan DARK CROSSES for Black Sampler November while visiting with you today... My son chose this one... Happiness is stitching / crafting.
Just finished your video while stitching your Move Foward pattern. Absolutely loved the ending. I was looking for the Know Thy Creator book recently since I've been collecting Scottish samplers. Glad to see it available digitally since the copy I saw for sale was going for several hundred dollars. Have fun with your November stitching. My Move Forward stitching doesn't count as black stitching, but it's what I'll be stitching on.
Very good to see you…loved all your new patterns…the zoom with Linda and all the Guild work she participates around the globe…the Question and Answer Period II…very informative and loved the Lord of The Rings song…the music and singing were awesome…wishing you the best and happy stitching Jacob❤
Thank you Jacob for taking the time to make this excellent video… it surely brightened up my Sunday morning and made me feel so much better. I enjoyed all your stories about customs in Iceland, Holland and England-glad to hear the Sampler Guild has started again and we might be treated to flosstube videos by them. Your new designs are so tempting as always - just wish I had many lifetimes to stitch all the things! Loved the Q& A and your musical ending. Stay well and have a great November … and a belated Happy Diwali to you both! By the way, Meera is too affectionate of a cat to even be compared to the monster cat you described from Iceland. Thanks again…
Thank you so much for your kind words and a happy late Diwali to you too! I initially had recorded my video the day before Diwali but the audio went wrong so I had to do it once again :P. Mira looks very innocent but she's far from it... she can be super mean to her 'sister' Neko! :P But she's a sweetheart as well though and she always wants to cuddle with me :D
Jacob .. I just asked my husband Jim to sit down and watch this episode because you touched on so many things that I knew he would be interested in hearing (stories, tea and food, music). He enjoyed the video also and is now checking out the musician etc… we had planned to drive up to Groningen but ended up spending more time in Delft and the surrounding area…”Eile mit Weile”
I have been postponing this video until I had a nice long stretch to watch it and tonight is my chance. Before it even begins I must tell you, Jacob, that I was immediately smitten with your new Yule Cat design! I bought the pdf from your website within minutes of seeing it -- I think on Carolyn's channel? -- and my Leo and Roxy "Gomez" floss should arrive in a day or two.
So nice to hear your voice….and to see your cat, we lost one of ours, had 2…interesting explanation about guilts, in my country, it was called, cofradías in the old times. Well that was brotherhoods, but…I think they are great….
Thank you Isabel! It's so nice that guilds these days are more open and less the gatekeepers of old... and the sampler guild is a really wonderful welcoming group. If you like stitchy stuff, I'm sure you'd love it as well! :)
So that was what the ring was for 😂, always enjoy a bit of silliness. Lol at the top pieces folded neatly in the box and the total chaos below them. That’s a lot of stitching though. I’d love to see a few of them in a coming Flosstube. Such a fun interview too. Do you still draw and paint or does your design business and stitching take up all of your time?
Hahaha! Glad you enjoyed it! Oh yes the total chaos of all the boxes (sadly...). It does look good when you open it though ;). I haven't done any painting for years but earlier this year I fixed up our rather large basement and turned it into a nice painting studio (where I've been filming from yesterday!). The past couple of months I've done a little painting and I'm actually just about to sit down and do a preparatory sketch. I'll show some stuff in a future video! :)
@@ModernFolkEmbroidery I’d love to see some of your artwork! A studio is awesome. I have an easel and a drawing table in a small spare bedroom. I didn’t go to art school in the end (I didn’t think I was good enough) so it’s just for fun. I haven’t done a lot either the last few years.
We Love You, Jacob! You are an amazing artist. You never disappoint :), the history you always include fills my history/ folk lore heart to the brim. As if we didn't love your floss tube channel before, LOTR yes please! haha. I will adding M. Bell 1856 to my black sampler stitching if you will as well as Merry Christmas & Happy New Year for red sampler stitching/ DMC 3777. As I start/ stitch this I hope to find some amazing history listenings on the Icelandic Folk Traditions. Good Day & Week xx
Love the Lord of the Rings references, and seeing your cat. Thanks for the FAQ, and Sampler Guild Zoom. I love the new patterns and want to stitch everything. Wish there was enough time to do that.
Ok Jacob, you are giving Annie Lennox some musical competition!! I love the Tolkien homage and would love a Middle Earth inspired sampler. Maybe an imagining of the Miras Tirith stitching guild classics, or some survivors of the Numenorean textiles archive. LOVE your work and have several WIPs with your charts.
Thank you Rebecca! I've been playing around with doing a Middle Earth inspired design for some time but every time I start it I put it away again. Maybe I really should get something done next year. I am quite inspired by the people of Rohan - maybe a Numenorean inspired Rohan piece...! :P
Wow what a lovely video gorgeous new releases can't wait to start them and thank you for the interview I find you videos so interesting and love your little helpers cats are so lovely and mischievous 🐈 🐈 love them xx brilliant questions plus where do you find these amazing samplers and how do you know it's original?
😄😄😄 Ok, the outro threw me!! At first i thought, the funniest thing was, when you petted Mira and her head was just hidden behind a vase and it looked like you were petting the vase... Amazing... 😆
Epic ending!!🙂 always love 4 legged visitors on Flosstube. I have two senior girls as well, mother and daughter rescues and they often show up on my Flosstube. Is there any chance you might chart the two towers cathedral you showed? It's a stunner. You mentioned generally what you watch, any chance your a Doctor Who fan?😉 Fantastic flosstube as always. Thanks.
I so appreciate your creative talents, sense of humor, meeting Mira, information shared, and your lovely dramatic farewell. You are a man with many talents, so pleased to be able to visit for a bit. Looking forward to the November installment of the MFE Mystery 2022 SAL, perfect for black sampler November. Take care.
We’ll you came back soon please, please to make us happy again please 🎶🎶 I’m singing this to youuuu🥰 🎉🥳 As always so informative, fun and of course inspirational too. Love xx
What a fantastic video!! I love all - not just some - of your new releases!! It’s hard to decide which one I’ll stitch first for black sampler November. Choices, choices!! I enjoy learning about different cultures and their samplers from you. And your sense of humor is wonderful. And the way you ended this video had me smiling :). You can always make longer videos - they are very entertaining! Thanks!
OMG I discovered Taylors of Harrogate tea about 25 years ago. It was hard to come by in Iowa and would always buy large amounts whenever I could find it. Now its not so hard to procure. I still think its the best tea ever.
The Cold Sea Sampler is also missing a Q, but I guess they would use the O with a small tail on the bottom. Will you chart the church sampler? Love your "disappearing" act!!! As long as it isn't for too long.
It is indeed - KV would've been used to make a Q, but indeed it's easy to make it with the little cross at the bottom of the O :). The York Minster sampler is lovely, but it's a LOT of crosses and I'm not sure if a lot of folks would be willing to spend so much time stitching just red, red, red... then again, maybe folks are desperate to stitch it! :P
Thank you Sonja! I think I did a Danish "y" for Grýla - and not the Icelandic "ee" sound... tricky language though I absolutely love the sounds of it! :).
I loved this episode! Am trying to decide what thread to begin my Jólakötturinn with...and please never stop with the LOTR song rewrites. They're the best!
Mira is so beautiful.. I have 3 cats myself that have full rain over the house. The third one we rescued from outside as a kitten. We named him Brave Lil one in honor of both of our American Indian grandparents.. I'm stitching one of yours for black sampler November also. 🐈 🐈⬛️ 🐈
Thank you Karen! Yea Mira is a beauty... they're totally the boss in the house though, we move around them for sure! :D. Both Mira and Neko are rescues also, and they still suffer from trauma (which they'll never get over I think...). But they do so much better now than when we first had them!
I so enjoyed watching this video and appreciate so much you doing this. Miss you when you do not put out a video. I would love to know if the sampler with the church is charged and if so where can I get this. It’s breathtaking. Thank you again for doing this video and you are a natural on the video.
That was fun! I love hearing about the Christmas traditions and seeing the accompanying patterns. Thank you for sharing with us! Oh, and I got such a kick out of your ending song! 😄 You have a beautiful voice!
The LOTR intro, song, wearing the ring around your neck, and disappearing are brilliant!! LOVE!!! Your patterns are amazing. I’m signed up to attend Jacob-Palooza next year. Can’t wait to hopefully meet you in person.

What a great video. I can't wait to stitch the M. Bell +Quaker patterns for Black Sampler November (as soon as my fabric arrives). I'll probably stitch it over one on 40ct so maybe I should turn it into a needlebook?
Always such a pleasant surprise to find a new floss tube alert for you. You are always so informative and inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing so generously with all of us.
Greatly enjoyed this video visit (as always) and stitched on the October release of the 2022 SAL as I watched. I allowed a new start for Sampler September to divert my attention for several weeks, so had the September and October releases to complete. My intent is to be fully caught up before December 1 when I will be juggling the daily opening of the Holiday Countdown band sampler and the final bit of the 2022 SAL. December should be a wonderful month! Any plans for a 2023 Stitch Along?
I love this video. I really love the M Bell Sampler. My paternal grandmother was Alma Mae Bell and her mother was Mary Pinter Bell, so this sampler is a must have for me. Concerning the various black fiber choices that people use for black November Samplers, I was wondering if you had ever considered DMC 939? It is as dark a blue as one can find, and really seems more black than blue to me. Yes, I vote that you get some of your lovely work out of the boxes and framed in the walls! Is your partner supportive of/interested in your work, and have you ever gifted him a personally stitched item? Much Love from Alabama USA ❤❤❤xxxx🪡🧵
What an ending to a fantastic video. I love your new patterns. I think I have four in my cart. Jacob, I have to ask, will you be doing a 2023 Mystery Stitch A Long? I know it is early, but I just have to know. Oh please do not say no. It's not like I don't have enough of your patterns to stitch. Because believe me I do, and I will always buy more. It because there is nothing like a good stitch a long from you. Anyways, Happy Stitching.
Thank you so much Deb - that's so nice of you to say! And yes, there will be a 2023 SAL again! Working hard on it at the moment, putting the dots on the I :D. I hope to announce it sometime in November!
@@ModernFolkEmbroidery Thanks Jacob! I appreciate you telling me. I am looking forwarded to it. Also I am glad I am not the only one who has partial projects back away waiting to be finished.
Love the parade with Lord of the Rings - you’re way more fun!! Great patterns! I’m working on the pattern I started last Nov that has been in a timeout due to a huge error I made 😢I am the master of my stitching…right? Also loved the interview as well & will check out joining the guild.
Thank you Anne! You are the master of your stitching - and if the mistake isn't too big just continue and repeat the mistake again (if it's mirrored) or just say that "it's supposed to look like that..." :P. Hope you join the guild, lovely group of folks! :)
What a fun and interesting video you had today. Never a dull moment when you’re on camera! … I absolutely *love* the York sampler with the large two-towered red church on it! Please consider charting it. I’ll be your first customer to purchase it and stitch it. Gorgeous!
The box of samplers and needlework - well, I just want to dive into that and look at every piece, but the fabric touching the wood is not good. The acid in the wood could damage the fabric.
Brilliant ending!!! Does Mira (how to spell?) like to walk across the keyboard the way my cat Beeps does? I think she takes a devilish delight in adding her own improvised text to my communications.
Thank you June! Mira doesn't walk on the keyboard but she does try to knock stuff out of my hands when I have drinks in them, or give me super hard head-buts when I am typing (as the keyboard deserves less attention than her, obviously). :P
Do you have any stitching magazines in/from the Netherlands? You need to make a linen roll! That way you can stop folding your fabrics. It’s not good for them! Linen rolls.are so easy and you can actually make them beautiful. I’ll see if I can send you a photo of one mine.
We've got a couple yes - the "borduurblad" is a nice one! I am a terrible person - I know the rolls (I have two old ones) but it's not something I would do with my stitching. I still have grand plans of framing! ;)

Have fun with your November stitching. My Move Forward stitching doesn't count as black stitching, but it's what I'll be stitching on.
Thank you! Oh yes the book goes for crazy money these days... it is worth the money though but the PDFs are free and so good!!! :) Enjoy!!!
Very good to see you…loved all your new patterns…the zoom with Linda and all the Guild work she participates around the globe…the Question and Answer Period II…very informative and loved the Lord of The Rings song…the music and singing were awesome…wishing you the best and happy stitching Jacob❤
Thank you so much Loretta - so happy to read you enjoyed the episode!!!
Always love your videos. Fantastic ending!
Thank you Leslie! :D
Your creativity inspires me and your silly, nerdyness entertains and cracks me up.
Haha!!! Thank you Jenny, glad it made you laugh! :)
So glad to hear that Barbara - hope you're enjoying Gomez as much as I am!!! :)
Your voice is just as amazing as your designs!!
Aw thank you!!!
Oh my, Jacob! I love you more and more each time I see it you. Mira is a sweetie. Thank you for everything.❤️🪡🧵❤️
:D Thank you so much Candi, you're too kind :)
Haha so glad you enjoyed it Stacy, thank you so much for your kind words! Have a great week as well and happy stitching!!!
Who wants to watch Jacob interact with cats for several hours? I do! Thanks Jacob for another fun, educational video.
Haha!!! :D Thank you Sandra!!!
Love the Lord of the Rings references, and seeing your cat. Thanks for the FAQ, and Sampler Guild Zoom. I love the new patterns and want to stitch everything. Wish there was enough time to do that.
Aw thank you Mary Ann - glad you enjoyed it! I had a blast getting this one together :D
Ok, I dropped everything and stopped in the middle of your video to buy the Yule Cat pattern. I love him! He'll go nicely with your Julbocken. :-)
Haha thank you Wendy - that's awesome!!!
Awesome ending and yes, we will have you back. I look forward to part three in the future.
:D Thank you Sharee!!!
Another lovely video - thanks for sharing. And those new charts are AMAZING! ❤
Thank you Peg!!!
I enjoy your video. I love cats! Enjoyed the Q and A. You are most gifted. Thanks for your sharing. You seem very kind! 🐈⬛🐈⬛❤️
Aw thank you Gerry! :)
I love your videos and designs. Thanks
Thank you Linda!
Thank you so much Justine! I love that question and I'm going to add that to the next Q&A!!! :)
So wonderful to see you again! The new patterns are gorgeous and that ending…EPIC!💜
Haha thank you Melissa - glad you enjoyed it!!!
Enjoyed your podcast and beautiful samplers
Thank you Rhonda!
😄😄😄 Ok, the outro threw me!! At first i thought, the funniest thing was, when you petted Mira and her head was just hidden behind a vase and it looked like you were petting the vase... Amazing... 😆
Haha!!! :D Glad you enjoyed it Ilonka! :D
Epic ending!!🙂 always love 4 legged visitors on Flosstube. I have two senior girls as well, mother and daughter rescues and they often show up on my Flosstube.
Is there any chance you might chart the two towers cathedral you showed? It's a stunner.
You mentioned generally what you watch, any chance your a Doctor Who fan?😉
Fantastic flosstube as always. Thanks.
Thank you so much!!! It's a lovely sampler indeed - thinking that I might need to as there's a couple of others very interested! :)
Excellent Jacob.....loved every minute of this video ❤ Thanks for what you do! Kathy🇨🇦
Thank you Kathy!!!
Take care.
Thank you so much Susan! it's such a good excuse to do silly stuff - and I'm glad folks enjoy it! :P
So nice to see you!! Enjoy your family time, stitching, and cats!
@@maryfrenzke5075 Thank you Mary!
We’ll you came back soon please, please to make us happy again please 🎶🎶 I’m singing this to youuuu🥰 🎉🥳 As always so informative, fun and of course inspirational too. Love xx
Haha thank you Edina - so glad you enjoyed the episode!
thank you as always!
Thank you Ruth!
Thanks!
Aw thank you so much Linda, that's great to hear!!!
Love your new designs Jacob. Excellent video. Really enjoyed it!
Thank you Karin!
OMG I discovered Taylors of Harrogate tea about 25 years ago. It was hard to come by in Iowa and would always buy large amounts whenever I could find it. Now its not so hard to procure. I still think its the best tea ever.
It's so good! We get bags of 1040(!) teabags and it's the best thing ever... :D
Well! What an amazing video to discover your channel with! As a LOTR fan, I highly approve.
Thank you! There are more LotR shenanigans planned for the future... :P
Your Icelandic pronunciation is really good. Only Grýla was off. Mjög gott! I will have to stitch the Icelandic patterns. Starting with jólakötturinn
Thank you so much Bekah!!! And yes, there'll be one more for sure!!! :)
Love your song. Great video
Thank you Nancy!
Thank you so much Stacey, glad to read that! The church sampler might get charted at some point indeed! Probably 2023 or later though...! :)
@@ModernFolkEmbroidery oh I hope so and will be watching for it. Thank you again for your time and it is greatly appreciated.
That was fun! I love hearing about the Christmas traditions and seeing the accompanying patterns. Thank you for sharing with us!
Oh, and I got such a kick out of your ending song! 😄 You have a beautiful voice!
Aw thank you Katrina, that's very kind - glad you enjoyed it! :)
The LOTR tribute is everything 🙌
Haha thank you so much Julie - glad you liked it! 😁😁😁
@@stitchythings Lijkt me gezellig! En insgelijks - mocht je eens in Rotterdam langskomen, doen we een "gesellig bakkie"!
@@ModernFolkEmbroidery top, doen we!
The LOTR intro, song, wearing the ring around your neck, and disappearing are brilliant!! LOVE!!! Your patterns are amazing. I’m signed up to attend Jacob-Palooza next year. Can’t wait to hopefully meet you in person.
Thank you Angel, glad you enjoyed it! I can't wait for October next year... :D :D :D
What happens in October?
@@KatrinaT Evertote will organise two retreats in October 2023 of which I'll be part. It's called Jacob-Palooza (haha!) and you can find the info here: www.evertote.ca/collections/jacob-palooza-retreat
Delightful and informative! 🐾
Than you Alissa!
What a great video. I can't wait to stitch the M. Bell +Quaker patterns for Black Sampler November (as soon as my fabric arrives). I'll probably stitch it over one on 40ct so maybe I should turn it into a needlebook?
Thank you - oh that would be absolutely perfect I think, I'd love to see that!!!!
Always such a pleasant surprise to find a new floss tube alert for you. You are always so informative and inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing so generously with all of us.
Thank you so much Lori - glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so much Deb! There'll be another SAL for 2023 for sure - I hope to announce it some time in November!
@@ModernFolkEmbroidery Excellent. Thank you!
Jacob, Mira looks like a walking advertisement for Black Sampler November! What a beauty ❤
Haha I agree! I should lure her into my videos more often ;). And I also agree that she's a beauty... :)
Thank you Tami! I love 939 and if you see it as black it is!!! :). I'm adding your Q for the next Q&A! :)
@@ModernFolkEmbroidery looking forward to it!
I’d love to,see you framer one or two of your favorites. It’s sad to see your beautiful work in a primer box.
It's very bad of me... 😂
I belonged to the Vancouver embroidery and the North Shore embroidery guild for a Long time, I kermés lots, and made great friends.
They're such great groups, aren't they! :)
Always enjoy your videos. Loving your new designs. Just curious, will you be doing a 2023 SAL?
Thank you Debbie! Yes, 2023 SAL will be there again but just need to put the dots on the I. Hope to announce in November :D
Loved all of it especially the song at the end! I would love a Jacob and Ellen Duet! Maybe for Jacobpalooza?
Thank you!!! "Islands in the Stream"? 😂😂😂
@@ModernFolkEmbroidery a classic. Yes. I'd pay admission 😀
@@ger_gerxstiches 😂😂😂
Love it!
Thank you!!!
What a fun and interesting video you had today. Never a dull moment when you’re on camera! … I absolutely *love* the York sampler with the large two-towered red church on it! Please consider charting it. I’ll be your first customer to purchase it and stitch it. Gorgeous!
Thank you so much Terry! I wasn't planning on it but I've had a couple of requests now so I might start on it next year!!!
Great video
Thank you Sandy!
The box of samplers and needlework - well, I just want to dive into that and look at every piece, but the fabric touching the wood is not good. The acid in the wood could damage the fabric.
Thank you Patty! Good thing though that the box is covered from the inside, as you're right - wood can definitely affect fabrics badly!
Oh! I almost forgot! Happy Birthday!!! Are you also turning 40???🤣
Thank you! I turned 40 yet again for the 4th year in a row!!! 😂😂😂
Were you always Parking Threads?
I don't really park - at least not consciously!
I still have grand plans of framing! ;)
