  • Blunderboy Nehru was vapid & superficial. He had no deep understanding about Bharat, & I have serious doubts about his IQ: Sanjay Dixit.

Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong: Most countries are founded and start off on the basis of high ideals and noble values. But more often than not, beyond the founding leaders and the pioneer generation, over decades and generations, gradually things change.
Things start off with passionate intensity. The leaders, who fought for and won independence, are often exceptional individuals of great courage, immense culture, and outstanding ability. They came through the crucible of fire and emerged as leaders of men and nations. They are the David Ben-Gurions, the Jawaharlal Nehrus, and we have our own too. Imbued with enormous personal prestige, they strive to meet the high expectations of their peoples to build a brave new world, and shape a new future for their peoples, and for their countries.

One thing all comments omit to realise, he was noted voted to be the first Prime Minister, it was Sadar Patel. He lost but went to Gandhi and requested he be made PM. Nehru was educated at Harrow, UK, and was very close to the British ideals, and adapted these in to configuration of the continued divide and rule politics of Congress. If you think Nehru was good for India, look into the land he gave away, and the problems he created in J&K. This was a small part of his failure as the first PM, he and his ascended family still do not look at India, as Indian, it still looks at this country as as Western country. As a nation, we led culture and civilisation thought, yet Britain was our colonised ruler we followed that way of thinking and lost an identity that once inspired the world. Nehru was essentially, self motivation, and he bestowed himself with the highest awards that India gives as with his future family. We need to look at the country at a civilisation level, and see as a unit of humanity we achieved for thousands of years. We need to break away from the Nerhuvian politics of the divide and rule he has passed down to his generations. PM Modi, may have his faults, but after 70 years, of the same family who have propagated corruption, religious indifference, and caste bias, just for votes, to maintain their power.

It was voted among the administrators. Had it gone to the working committee, Nehru would have won with at least 80 percent margin as Nehru was far more popular than Patel. Probably the administrators might select Amit shah against Modi in the current scenario. Here is a link of the details expressed by Ram Guha when asked by a guy who studied history through WhatsApp. :) Patel had no base in south India for sure. ua-cam.com/video/tOO9FM-A_Hk/v-deo.htmlsi=BUZHL0R9kGJu0ptx

That is your Sanatana dharma culture. Brahmin's boy/girl should be wise because he is a Brahmin. A Chandala's boy should be dumb as his father. The world does not think that way. Modern thinking evolved from the European enlightenment. It teaches each individual is different in his thinking. Heard about " Sapere aude?"
PS: Nehru's name was invoked recently by Singapore PM and clubbed him along with Ben Gurion. He also mentioned the current Indian cabinet with the criminals. These crooks, despite their hard work in the shakhas, have to inaugurate sculptures and stamps of Gandhi in foreign countries.
