Thank goodness I'm 56 hours in the game. I'm not done with the game yet or the story yet, but I'm loving the game, so I would love a sequel or another new game in the franchise.
Thanking God for this! Our prayers have been answered! I thought that I would've have to live in a another generation without Mario & Luigi games. It is a bit concerning that Sony had been partcially bought of some of Kadikawa shareholders. Also, getting Brothership in the mail tommorow!
If you’re a fan of the series you’ll love Brothership, the only thing I’ll say is that it starts a bit slow, but picks up after you get your first bros attack
This is a *major* relief for me (I hope), because I've been working since last month on a story for my *own* Mario & Luigi game. I sure hope it'll be fantastic if I finally get it finished. I'm typing the story on a document in my Google Drive. ...Does anyone want to read what I've typed so far? ...Anyone at all?
@@thewhitewolf6715 I'm so glad you asked! The game's title is called "Mario & Luigi: Helping Hands". It takes place on a continent that's themed after amusement parks. This continent was formed by seven deities, and they're all female like the Magical Girl genre. The story I'm typing still isn't finished, and it's gotten so long I'm putting it in chapters.
I'm glad people are finally starting to enjoy this game, hopefully others will give it a chance, cause it definitely deserves the attention. Brothership has got solid gameplay, a decent story & interesting new characters & villains, it's also one of the darker Mario & Luigi games we haven't seen since Partners in Time, especially midway through the game & towards the end, the story takes unexpected turns, I give it a 9 out of 10, my only gripe is the loading times (probably due to ageing hardware) & Luigi's button change which after about 4 hours in I finely got use to...
Plus IIRC, a rumor was going around that Kadokawa only approached Sony for planning/potentialing to buy them out because they were avoiding a hostile takeover from Kakao, a South Korean Mega Corporation. From my knowledge, Kakao isn't a good home for Kadokawa and they messed up the Asian entertainment industry for a while now, so if they had to choose, Sony was the best pick.
While yes, Nintendo could find someone else to make Mario and Luigi games, it would be best to keep the same developer on board so they can make improvements to their game design. A new developer would have to just start from scrap with zero experience on making a Mario&Luigi game.
I mean most of the bothership is original. Like entire game takes place in a new never seen before part of the Mario Universe. A lot of characters are new like Connie, Snoulet, Zokket, etc. They do have classic characters like Bowser, Peach, Toad, Goombas and all but they’re in almost if not all the Mario and Luigi games. I don’t know how much more original they can get with it.
I saw on Arlo like yesterday, and thank God, Sony didn't fully buy Kadokawa! Instead, Sony bought 10% of Kadokawa. But don't celebrate yet, because there's a chance that Sony might buy Kadokawa in the future, and we don't know which Sony is buying Kadokawa. If it's Sony of America that's buying Kadokawa, then the future of anime/manga, future of FromSoftware games, and even the future of Mario and Luigi games (aka, Acquire) is doomed!💀 But however, if it's Sony of Japan that wants to buy Kadokawa, then I'm okay with Sony of Japan buying Kadokawa. But for now, glad that Kadokawa/FromSoftware/Acquire is safe, and while we wait more information about Sony's involvement with Kadokawa, all we can do to stop Sony's monopoly is to boycott Sony and the other western corporations (including localizers and credit card companies).
@@circledude2362 So you are ok with Sony becoming an even bigger monopolistic media empire, that is known for shutting down game studios, just to stick it to Nintendo? You should never support video game company buyouts, at least on this scale, they are very bad for the industry.
Implying Sony is innocent with stuff they been up to. Also full buyouts are never good because it can ruin a studio if the creative direction goes south.
Thank Goodness I’m glad Mario and Luigi and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon are ok

And I would love a potential sequel of either brothership, bowers inside story, or dream team on the new Nintendo console
Am never ending their by owend brothership
I beat the game in 53 hours
@@tyleroutland435i like to see the alienshrooms again i loved that game. 😅
That’s good news. I can’t wait to see what Acquire cooks up next for Mario & Luigi.

@@thewhitewolf6715 I changed the title for my game, now calling it "Mario & Luigi: Seven Wonders". Does that sound like a better one?

It will sell less than TTYDR
The islands were such a shitty choice tbh. Game feels early long game till bowser shows up.
What a relief.
I let out a great sigh of relief from seeing this video. Thank fucking god.
Nintendo should own acquire just so that we can be secure with the Mario and Luigi franchise
I guess you could say Nintendo should acquire Acquire.

sony too broke for full acquisition
I liked M&L Borthership but not loved it, i hope we'll get a new chapter that is more original, with less classic characters

I love the idea Sony talking aquire away from Mario and luigi. nintendo gets karma

Karma for what exactly?
@Kyonari Karma for stuff that other major publishers are guilty for?
You hypocrite.
