Вставка

- As you guys have requested we have made this Dyson V10 charging dock installation video. Things to consider are where you want to mount the dock, the dock needs to be near socket otherwise you will need an extension lead through, place at a good height so if you have children they are not trying to mess with it.

this helped me review where to put it :
- close to an outlet
- enough leeway overhead so it can glide into the holder without too much fuss
- enough space below & on the sides
my brother helped me choose the right drill bit
fingers crossed for tomorrow, let's hope it's fully charged by then!
Thanks for uploading
Thank you for including the size bit to use! It was exactly for this reason I watched your video since Dyson does not include that info with the product.
Thank you!! I just got one of these a couple of weeks ago. There are more attachments than spots to hold them in the wall mount, so I thought I was missing something. Your video is super clear that it just stores two. I'll keep the most frequently used two there and the other attachments elsewhere nearby. Thanks a ton!
I guess I am kinda off topic but do anybody know a good site to watch newly released series online ?
@@isaiasaries6270 I had the same question after watching this.
So far so good with this vacuum. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.
7 or 8 diameter, if you don't want to watch the full video
I think 1/4" is the right imperial size drill bit to use. I used a 5/16 as it's between a metric 7 and 8 and it was a smidge too large.
Thanks
Ty
thank you, 1/4" works
Hi. Nice Video. we just moved in to a house and want to install the mount - however the clear plastic is already snapped on to the mount - blocking the mounting holes. Can the clear plastic be separated from the mount once it has been snapped in? I've been afraid to add to much pressure to separate them. Thank you.
Yes, i think you can get a flat screwdriver or knife to carefully lift it up
How do you get the clear piece apart from the grey piece? Mine came joined together in the box. No instructions for the wall Mount process
Did it not occur to you as you awkwardly drilled the holes with your arms up above your head that the Dyson would end up docked far too high and be a real pain to mount and dismount 😂
Thank you, helpful and informative.
We got everything mounted, but the charger would not slide into the charging mount (too tight)... Is this a defect? Please help!
It’s a bit tricky to get in, you have to get it in at an angle then straighten.
@@bigdinsreviews6908 Thank you for your quick response; however, we have tried every which way, angle wise, to try and fit the battery pack into the charging dock without completely forcing it and possibly breaking it ... we are going to take it back to see if another unit is this difficult ... it's crazy!
Thanks so much; great explanation and good visuals.
You make it look so simple
Thanks!
Thats because he is simple.
Lol drilling two holes not simple? OMG!
Legend, what a sick vid!
How do you get the wiring + plug into the wall dock?
Should also ensure that the charging mount is positioned with enough headroom to allow clearance for slotting device into the charger. If you do not allow enough headroom you will not be able to place the machine into the charger. Be aware!!
can you tell me the width once mounted? I want to be sure it can fit behind the door before buy it. >Thanks
Cheers mate.
what size screws and raw plugs do I need as I lost the ones in the box
same, well - i moved and need the same size raw plugs, 7s maybe? they seem very deep
I got mine from dyson outlet and it didn’t come with the screws. Any advice on which screws to get?
Our wall dock won't snap in to the clear plastic part when we go to mount it after screwing it in to the wall. One circle hinge snaps perfectly into place. The other (the one with two concentric circles) won't connect. Any advice?
The wall mount has come out of the wall and I need to reset it but can't open the wall mount up. Is there a particular way to do this?
Hi, yes there is a little clasp looking thing that you can lift at the bottom of the case if i remember correctly
Thanks so much this really helped!
which app you use on the phone when you locate the screw positions?thanks
It’s the built in level on the iPhone
What is the overall length while docked? I can’t find a size online to see if it will fit into my cupboard! Thanks
May I ask how you are able to remove the charging plug for the vacuum from the dock? Thank you
you would need slightly privy the bottom ends open very carefully to swing the dock back up. Then you will be able to remove charger.
@@tanr9937 Thank you!
THANKS!!!
Thank you for the help!
Can this be screwed into drywall or do you need to have studs to drill into
Max G Hi, you can screw into a dry wall and use a wall plugs.
just as it should
Fat max construction drill to drill 2 small holes? Talk about bringing a tank to a knife fight!!!!!
Haha that's hilarious :)
What is the size of the mounted unit?
Gema Barajas Do you mean when it is docked?
how is the power cable?
nuarharuha . The power cable is not very long at all, roughly around a meter so might be best to put it in reach of a wall plug. Otherwise you will need an extension lead.
The one thing I came here to see, the actual screwing the thing into the wall, is the only part not included in the video 🙄
Can you please tell me what screw’s side? I wanted to buy the plastic Anchors...
Marco Custódio Hi Marco, It’s been a while i think we used 8mm wall plugs
@2:17 you said "you can hear that click" and you didnt !!!! do it! why why why!!! demonstrate how it clicks!!!!!!
looks like mounted too high
We mounted it higher than usual because we have young kids.
Not much use no instructions about connecting wire
too high
Too high!!!
This was very helpful. Thank you 😊
