@AlfarelSynthesisat least in newer versions they should not despawn ever. That is if the chicken did not spawn with a baby zombie riding it, because then it would be able to despawn. Since hostile mobs don't spawn in tree's base that is probably not a concern. He could still walk of the edge of course...
Things that give me more joy than they probably should: Three lining up the block placing with the beat of the music Three’s giggle Also, I’d love to hear how everything would sound without the muffler upgrades (toxic trait 😂)
There is a Wither bee if you want to get Nether Stars easily through bees, BTW. Also Salis Mundus bee, but for nether stars specifically Wither bee is better. Advanced Glue, for the record, isn't anything special. Just slap together some basic chemicals, easy enough to get through pyrolyse shenaniganry and/or petrochem, and there you go. I believe I did mention the vacuum freezing was going to become the next bottleneck after upgrading EBFs to Volcani. As for AFKing it is a valid strategy in GTNH, just don't be surprised that the pack ends up being an AFK simulator if you end up playing it like an AFK simulator 🙃. Always good to see ore processing being taken seriously, though I'm missing the special processing line. Where's the Ilmenite line? Anyone complaining about Tantalum should have that set up. Generally speaking, for GT++ alloys if it has an ABS recipe, use it, and if it has an EBF recipe forget that it does. GT++ alloy EBF recipes are very often ludicrously expensive compared to the ABS recipe. Some to the point of being NEI clutter, more than anything else. I'm sure people will remember me singing the praises of the Volcanus multiple times, so how does the Cryogenic Freezer hold up? Unfortunately, extremely poorly in comparison. For starters the multi is gated to LuV - it's casing requires both HG-1223 and Lafium Compound, which are LuV tier ABS alloys and impossible to get before Assembly Line. Remember the ABS cannot be overclocked, to run an LuV recipe it needs an LuV energy hatch. On top of that the Cryogenic Freezer has only a 2x speed bonus, no EU/t discount, and only 4 parallels compared to the Volcani's 2.2x/0.9x/8 speed, EU/t and parallels respectively. It also consumes Gelid Cryotheum - a more difficult fluid to automate than Blazing Pyrotheum - twice as fast. Now compare all of that to a Mega Vacuum Freezer. It is not the prettiest of multiblocks, but 1x speed, 1x EU/t cost and *256* parallels compared to running a measly four ingots twice as fast? And it doesn't require any higher tech than the basic vacuum freezer (at least to craft, to utilize it to it's full potential is a very different story), just an absolute metric boatload of Alu? I trust I don't have to explain why this is the better option over the Cryogenic Freezer...which Three still cannot actually craft yet anyway. So...that's the end of that contest 🙃. Alu can still be four times slower to smelt if you're cooking pure alu dust rather than alumina dust with either cryolite or carbon dust. Got a ton of pure alu dust, and not sure how to turn it into alumina dust quickly and cheaply? Chemically reacting pure alu dust with silicon dioxide dust does the trick, though that is an LCR exclusive recipe, and by the time you have an LCR you're probably not too worried about the smelting time of alu anymore. As with the MEBF, and all other megas for that matter, it's only as good as the excessive amounts of power you shove into it. Getting 256 (Tier) recipes to parallel needs (Tier+4) power. Or, put another way, if you want 256 EV tier ingots - think Tungsten, Tungstensteel, HSS-S, Osmium, and a few others - to parallel you need to give the Mega Vacuum Freezer it's own dedicated 64A IV power line to feed it the equivalent of 1A UV. Excessive? Maybe for right now it is, but the Mega Vacuum Freezer is as good as it's going to get. You're going to use this multi for cooling hot ingots from here to Stargate, or however far into the pack you go, so get comfortable with them and get ready to feed them plenty of power. Reminder that EV+ tier input buses have the exact same number of slots as HV tier input buses. The only time you use higher than an HV tier input bus is when a multi specifically requires at least X tier of bus/hatch, because...I'unno, have to make the player spend resources somehow. I would also recommend putting the freezer on it's own AE2 subnet, because - spoiler - that singular input bus is not going to last for very long as far as storage goes. Especially when it's only given 4A IV to work with. So, for the record, for LuV you only need an 11 length Assembly Line to start, since that length is required for LuV Field Generators, and they in turn are required (among other things) for the Fusion Reactor. You only need a longer length in LuV if you're planning on using the IsaMill Grinding Machine, Flotation Cell Regulator, Sparge Tower or Molecular Transformer. Zero of which are mandatory, zero of which are (to my knowledge) worth using. Incidentally, it's better to craft an Advanced Data Access Hatch instead of the regular version, since space for only four recipes (remember the Assembly Line needs to have a data stick for each recipe you want it to run) is just straight garbage. The 16 the advanced hatch gives you is frankly also garbage, but at least able to fit all of the LuV components if nothing else. Assembly Line isn't really *that* expensive, it's mainly a comprehensive infrastructure check. Circuits most obviously, but also EBFs and Vacuum Freezer, platline, SMDs, if something is not up to par the entire thing is going to slow to a crawl and take ages. And of course this is just the entrance exam to see if you're worthy of going into LuV. Once you've passed it, however you've passed it, you get to experience the joy that is actually going through LuV. And if your *everything* wasn't up to snuff before, oh boy, welcome to GTNH purgatory. LuV is, IMO, the end of the early game. This is where GTNH takes off the kid gloves and you need to have learned the lessons that IV tried to teach you in putting the "monster" that was the Assembly Line before you, because the pack is about to stop being merciful. "It was merciful before?" you ask? Honestly, very much so. Remember Ruridit? I hope you've figured out the importance of both upgrading your EBF coils and upgrading to Volcani, because remember that the difference between an HSS-G EBF and HSS-S Volcani, both at LuV, is the difference of around 655M EU and 17-odd minutes per LuV Motor. Per *Motor*. IV motors had you speed up tungsten production by 60% simply by noticing that Tungsten Trioxide had a second usage in the EBF, as well as mix a couple basic materials together to produce advanced glue for graphene. Don't expect LuV (and beyond) to be that generous. Electric Prospector's Scanners do have durability, but if you make them out of even a halfway reasonable material they will last a very, very long time. The absolute best material to make your first one out of is Ichorium or Gaia Spirit, which gives you by far the best range and durability combination you can get until Infinity, but if you're not that neck-deep into magic HSS-S makes for a respectable beginner's Electric Prospector's Scanner. T3 MBMs, or Ore Drilling Rigs, are something you can upgrade to once you've got access to LuV tier components (and Assembling Machine). I highly recommend it, they're super worth. Advanced SMDs are mainly to cut the recipe time of circuits that can still use regular SMDs in half. Resource wise it's infinitely cheaper to just spam regular SMDs, but crafting times - either the circuits or the SMDs themselves if you craft them on demand, *especially* using the cheaper recipes for regular SMDs - are going to be an issue. IMO it's worth swapping over to advanced SMDs for reasons I detailed in prior comments, but TL;DR: Faster circuits = better circuits, and you're going to need said advanced materials very soon anyway, so addressing them now just saves you the effort of having to address them later.

I've missed most the series but the I'm just gonna watch from here and pray that I can mentally catch up.
Welcome! Glad to have you on board for the journey :D
@@Threefold. Oh gosh, my random comment I made actually got a response. Thanks lol. I really like what you do. :D
awesome video as always
Thanks for watching! I appreciate it :)
another banger episode by Three
Lol, Im glad I stopped playing this mod. Props to you for picking it back up and doing it well though. Feels like yesterday you were digging out that mesa hole and getting your hunger axe lol
Time flies for sure! We've come a long way though
let us all spare a moment to appreciate "pitit" 26:54
My temporary replacement keyboard is ever so slightly different to the one I've been usingthe last yeah lol
Damm i wish i had your organization skills
new video when :(
It's Time
great video
how is your power gen after all these new upgrades
i cant imagen few turbine managed to sustain this big base
cause i reached iv before but i used 4 nuclear reactors and a dozen diesel gen and big liquid nuke setup
with a smaller base than you i was always starving for power and making any expansions was always stressing
in the last ever episode of s1 three got the mega vaccuum freezer. hes catching up
Three, i have a question/seggestion can't you make a ender chest like a multiblock craft chest where you could request for example an ebf and it'll craft everything necesary and puts it in the chest, u could open it via that or use an ender pouch on the same channel to access it remotely.
Certainly could! In fact it's a great idea, i've just been lazy in setting it up :p
New Three video!
Friday upload whoop whoop!
Ice always been aware of gregtech but I’ve never actually bothered to see what the deal was. This discovery may be detrimental to my health in the near future
Pace yourself! But I do recommend playing if you are interested in challenging, technical and something longterm :)
Greetings fellow Threefold enthusiasts.
are you ok?
Oh oh
Friday saved.
oh my god i am feeling really bad and to wander my mind of somewhere else i opened youtube whispering i want a threefold video over and over and there it is thank you so much you made my day
thank you for manifesting this threefold video
MEGA GREG TIME
Are world downloads on the horizon? I'd love to study around to see what I should be doing in my own world
Please Three give the freezer some supports or something, it feels so uncomfy to look at floating there!
That being said, really love your videos, you starting the series back up those few months ago really helped me, I know it's stupid to say, but it's true nonetheless.
Yeah, I'll definitely add something there at some point. You're right about the fact that it feels 'uncomfy'. Also, I don't think it's stupid to say the videos helped you. I'm glad you found some positivity in the content no matter how small. Thanks for watching
You okay three?
Niceee
Seeing the recipe for the assembly line casing kinda discouraged me from ever wanting to touch gtnh 😭
How does the machine auto stop when the tank fills up dosent the net get flooded or does that have something to do with the sticky cards
Which machine and what tank? 🤔
@@Threefold. any of the chem reactors with ae fliud output hatches and i could have swore i saw you put a sticky card on one of the fluid storage buses, also dont the fluid output hatches just infinitely cache fluids
Anything with a Fluid ME Output Hatch will not stop when fluid storage is full. That is why anything that is a primary producer of a fluid has a normal Output Hatch with Dual Interface instead. Only secondary producers of the fluids will contain ME Output Hatches. Sticky Cards only apply to items, and as far as I know doesn't have any affect on fluids :)
Let's Greg! Early gang
Does anyone know where does three host his server to play?
The server is hosted on the same PC as I play on. I just separate the game onto a local server for extra performance :)
I'm got to ZPM age few days ago and then my ssd got corupted and i'm lost everything
😢
Threefold early????
721th lets go
