Pretty sure you could just use a reptile heating mat for half the price. Might not have the time funtion but we all have timers on our phones. I actually watched a review of one and the instructions actually referred to it as a reptile mat
Never even thought of that and that probably would work fine, but this was less than $20 So wasn't too much more and came with the silicone cover that protects it from resin dripping on it 😀
Ty for sharing I’m just starting this art and I did get a mat on another site looks exact just came with no instructions off Temu I am about to try mine love your videos by the way followed
@@delialefay13 I spritz with alcohol to pop bubbles after I pour but you can also spray a mold before. I don't on all, but tricky ones with small details I do.
Just looking at any videos that might give me clues on how to use the mat I got from Temu. Listening to others, they have said to wait an hour before turning on the mat. That gives bubbles a time to get to the surface so they can be popped.
Hello there Rachel! I just seen this heating mat and I like the review The only question I have is do you think it would work on canvases? That is how I do my artwork and was just wondering if you have had any experience with that
Thank you for reviewing this would you recommend this for drying orgonite pyramids. I will be making some of these, I am looking for something which dries the epoxy resin and hardener faster.
@@delialefay13Lefay Thank you for getting back, I will carry on the other way. That would be best bet for me. It may take longer for them to dry. Thank you anyway.
Sorry if I missed it but it would have helped to have had a control, some molds of similar size that you did not use the mat for.
If I don't use the mat curing time is 24 hours for the same size molds💜 thank you so much for watching 💜
Hope you had a merry christmas💖💖
I did, thank you so much 💜 I hope you did as well 💜

@@delialefay13 you are welcome love 🦇💜💜💜💜🦇
No I am thinking about getting one now that I know what I am doing 😅
I love it💜

Were you able to figure it out? Thank you so much for watching 💜

Thank you so much 💜 The mats are wonderful! I love how it takes it down to only 4 hours for curing on smaller molds 💜
I don't brush micas so I wonder if spraying the mold with alcohol first would help.
For mold release? Maybe.. I've never tried

I believe this states only works for molds less than an inch thick, So I'm not sure it would work with the pyramids😢 thank you so much for watching 💜

Wow everything looks great. What a great purchase to help make the process faster.
Thank you so much 💜 I love it💜
Thanks for reviewing this now I will get one
Yay! It's so neat! I can now do two batches a day 😀 just need to experiment a little bit more to figure out the bubbles 💜💜💜
Thin layer Doming hides bubbles
I've never mastered doming, I always make a mess 😅
Looks good - I just got mine today so hoping my molds come out as well!
Thank you! Hope they came out 💜
Have you tried more projects since you did this? Any tips or tricks you might share!
@@dkhumpdy I still use it a couple of times a week, cures almost all of my molds in 4 hours 😀 I don't do anything different 😀
