Unfortunately, one had a missing leg but usually as long as the wound isn't bleeding out, the tarantula will be fine. Can't wait for it to molt out and maybe we can start to see the new leg start to grow!

I had a T one time who molted right after arriving. He was stressed and lost like 4 legs in the molt including pedipalps. I was so worried about him and almost considered putting him down, but something told me not to. I helped hold his food for him with tongs during feedings until he molted again, and grew ALL of his legs back at once, practically to the perfect size. He was a beast, LOL.
I'm glad your T is doing OK! At least you didn't put him down.
Nice
This story is amazing! Thank you for helping this little guy 😄
Do you remember what Species that was?
^
The legs grow back with their next molt just fine. It'll look smaller and have is usually kinda white, but after a couple more molts they look almost exactly the same as legs they've never dropped. Just feed them good and you're set!

i wonder what the process looks like
@@calebrichardson5259 I read the title and commented before watching the full video. But a lot of people seemed to like my comment, probably because I go into a bit more detail. I'm just leaving it up because some people want that bit more detail.
@@dia21534 I've only seen the afterwards results of the leg regeneration. It comes in scrawny and white usually and they don't rely on it much for a while until they molt a couple more times and it becomes stronger. There's still hairs on it though so it looks funny.
Hey ferret friend
He's so good to his tarantulas. I mean I'm terrified of them but I still enjoy watching his videos.
@The Gamer The way this youtuber zoomed in on the tarantulas tho 😭
It was like a damn jumpscared 😳
*jumpscare
Literally same😂😂😂👍
I guess Im lucky I dont have arachnophobia
Respect to this man doing all videos with 1 hand
I love his content but I have to disagree. There are many instances where just using a stand would help with saftey and just making task easier. It's more dumb than anything, it's a literal case of working harder not smarter.
Keep in mind I did say I love his content.
Yeah respect
He has 3 hands actually
@@betafishjeremy7454 you never know maybe where he lives stands are expensive or maybe he doesn't want to buy a stand 🤷♀️

I love how they explore right after coming out of the container, it looks like they're stretching 😂
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Well I don't blame them if I were in a small compartment(space,area,ect.) I would stretch outside too😓
I don’t know if I love that, my dream tarantulas are the pinktoe and the obt but regardless what type it is I don’t want the little bastard jumping out and giving me a heart attack
They are curious little ones :P
Maybe they are
No one:
Exotics Lair: Look at that packaging 😍🥴
A bad packaging means there's a high chance of the Ts die before arriving. Sorry about my bad English.
@@ALoliComunistayour english is good !
Theraphosa slings are so friggin cute with their lil pink boots
I have done the rock drainage layer in the past and if you dont put a mesh between the rocks and the substrate you will have a mold mess within a month or two. If you can for their rehouse in the future i think it would be a good idea.
Yes

I absolutely adore the fact that you're so loving towards your tarantulas. I can't wait to see how these pretty babies grow up!! They're such gorgeous slings!!
For the rat problem in your car, just take some of Sinas furr, tie it in a bundle and tie it somewhere to your machinery where it wont get too hot and start to burn.
Marten, weasels and rats wont go up there anymore because they will think there's a dog there.
Thats what my dad has been doing for years and he had never issues since.
You can leave it up to half a year in there before you should replace it, according to him.
Why the last T was so relatable lol
She was like "why would i want or need to get out of here so comfy" then slowly comes out stretching the legs like "omg the light is so f* bright a whole new world"
Very pretty slings! Looking forward to seeing how they mature.
those ts just flew business class with that packaging
edit: GOSH their little pink peets are adorable
Can't wait to see those slings mature!!! Should be hella dope!
if two of them turn out to be females, this guy will be a lucky man.
IKR!!! I wonder how big they get?????
@@ALoliComunista The third one or Exotic
I can't wait either! :D
@@ExoticsLair Everyone is ready to see them grow each day
Really like how when the first one comes out then start moving slowly as if its saying "hippity hoppity this house is now my property" 😂😂
LOL … I had a T she died a day after I got her , cuz she was roaming around my house 🏡
I think that’s a bit too much moisture! I would just dampen it when it looks dry (also you might wanna put a mesh layer above the rocks or else the substrate will settle into it over time). Beautiful little spoods and congrats on getting them!
Underrated comment
Thanks!
So far they've been doing fine.
If it's too hot and a lot of moisture it will be a problem.
but if the air is cool it should be fine. As long as there's many ventilation.
Enclosures with a fully vented lid dry out really quickly, it should be fine
The pink foot ones love it damp. It will dry with ventilation. Actually quickly
I LOVE EVERY SINGLE VIDEO here!!! Such positive, contagious energy!!🙂🙂
10000% agree
I literally jumped when you opened the container and the first sling came out!
The seller should have told the buyer about the first one and offered a discount on that one. It will probably be fine in 3 or 4 moults. But they never look exactly the same
It depends..
I've had Ts that lost legs before and after a few molts I couldn't tell that it lost a leg. Maybe if you look super closely.... but I couldn't tell :D
@@ExoticsLair Would be interesting to everyone to upload a video every time it moults and see on this fast growing species
@@conan84cowen94 good idea
As someone with arachnophobia, I am terrified on your behalf but ultimately intrigued at the same time, You are amazing at handling them tbh ❤️
The first one looks so fancy with pink boots lol so cute 😍 I never seen one before
I love that the packaging is so soft and protective that the ts is just immortal if he/she goals inside
Oh I forgot that this guy is a one hand-phone camera god
Beautiful littles! Cannot wait to watch them all grow up! 🥰
YESSS THIS IS MY FAV TYPE OF VIDEOS YOU ARE THE BEST
I have this species. You don't need to keep them that wet. They do like moisture but mine has done fine with a semi dry substrate. A good watering once a week and they are good. Less chance of mold as well. At 5 inches mine can cover the length of a 5.5 gallon enclosure in the blink of an eye.
Any update on the mites? Several folks saw some going inside of the shelves
So far they've all gone.
Don't see anymore mites around. I've cleaned out the enclosure and washed everything. So far so good..
Congrats for the new slings, they seem to be very healthy.. Amazing work with the enclosures as well
"These are like 150 Dollar each".
Gesticulates a whole minute with it.
i hope the Tarantular didn't got dizzy :'D
I sure did
OMG they are incredibly beautiful! Love the pink toes 💗! And the bluish hue to their bodies. Never seen Goliaths like this before. Stunning dude... 😍
I had no idea that spiders legs regenerated. I love watching these types of videos because I always learn something.
They are so cute ! I had a bad day and watching this vid made me smile ^^
These are so adorbs!😍
The siblings look's very pretty! I'm looking forward to seeing of how they mature 😊
They are so cute compared to how big they get. Loving them already. 💙
they look so beautiful, hope they all grow well:3
Your videos are awesome! Those tarantulas are beautiful.
Bro, I love your videos because I really want to buy a tarantula but I have a huge fear of them so watching your videos is helping me overcome my fear!
Just bite the bullet and get one! I was the same way and got one to overcome my fear and now I have 8 with a big bioactive Theraphosa stirmi enclosure!
I don’t know what it’s like to be afraid of spiders, and I hope you get over your fear but keeping spiders and tarantulas is sooo much fun! You can learn a lot!
Does this scare you? ua-cam.com/video/nRLq9Q8GMv0/v-deo.html.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL "Ts"......Though I'm sure she will do just fine but not only is it missing a leg but the one right next to the missing one apparently just grew back also if you take a good look at it. Just sad that it started out with already having to grow back it's legs.... Great video they are definitely adorable as slings as well 😍😍😍
The pink foots are beautiful spiders.. looking forward to hopefully seeing their progress, and if/when the lost leg grows back.
Beautiful colors!
What beautiful little slings, their pink toes look so delicate.
I love Goliath bird eaters, probably my fave tarantulas, and these are very pretty! 😊😊
0:05 Aww, that spider looks cute.
Love your knowledge!
I love ur videos they are helping me get over arachnophobia little by little. I still fear them though.
Imagine that first stretch with 8 legs after being cramped for 1-2 days.
Awww, that second one is so cute… with her little pink boots 👢
Best packaging I've seen on your channel
You should really invest in a GoPro with a head mount.
And/or chest mount.
Cant wait to see them when they get much bigger. You should invest in some camera equipment so you can use both hands📹📸👍
he doesnt want a camera
@@dropbearz4014 he could get a cheap tripod tho ? It doesn’t matter anyway, he usually doesn’t read comments
@@beckylietzow He has a tripod but doesn’t use it very often unless he absolutely needs two hands 🤷🏻♀️
love your videos man there are soo good and btw nice spiders ;0
I think that these are very pretty spiders, with the pink legs and all. Can't wait to see them grow up and get big!
I’m in love with these ❤️
But I have no experience with tarantulas and would be a waste of life with an old world like that. So I will be looking forward to watching them grow with you.
Hope the tarantula do well in there new enclosures 💖
They are so beautiful !! Oh wow 💜
I like your makeup brush 😆 prytteeh✨
I didn't know T could regenerate legs :O
Also the second and tird were so gentles how cute 💕
Did anyone else notice that the leg behind the missing leg's space looks significantly smaller and a different colour to the rest with no pink on the foot. Could this mean that leg has also been lost at some point and has regrown to this during the previous moult? Could it be the result of a bad moult or is it just normal variation?
You are right!
I was literally looking into comment section just for this :D
Yes! I'm sure this baby has lost legs due to bad molts. The Theraposa are infamous for bad molts. Sometimes it's due to their environment not being humid enough :( luckily my big T. stirmi always molts out beautifully.
@@katyann4198 Thank you for satisfying my curiosity, Iwas scouring the comments to see if anyone had already commented about it before posting. I'm very glad to hear that your _T. stermi_ moults out without issues, hopefully the little guy in the video will do better with his next moult. Do you know if a T with an injury is likely to moult sooner than it would have had it not been injured? I know very little about arachnids and just stumbled upon tarantula youtube by accident a couple of months back. its been fascinating learning about these strange yet beautiful creatures.
@Conan84 Cowen and @Majuš thanks for taking time to reply I was surprised that I didn't find any other comments about the T having a small leg that didn't match the others
Oh yup! I noticed that too.
Apparently it lost 2 legs before according to the seller (he told me after I got it lol) and one already started to grow.
Just want to say how much I like seeing these videos I find them educational and entertaining and encouraging people to see spiders as beautiful and amazing creatures instead of being scary monsters as that's how I saw them a few years ago
These video terrifying yet are so fun to watch
7:35- Tarantula- "Yes, yes nice packaging....NOW LET ME THE HECK OUT!😡
I just can’t wait to see them grow up for a feeding video🤩
Why do I find this so satisfying??
Anywho, I found this video so sweet and I'm glad the spider s (tarantulas) are perfectly fine ❤️❤️🕷️🕷️
They look like they are wearing little pink shoes! So cute!!!
I love him a lot
Sometimes I wish we could molt back into our younger selves every so often. ^o^
I love the colors of these T's. Itsy bitsy tiny socks 💕
Great vid. I just recently got a sling Apophysis. It’s my first Theraphosa. I absolutely love it 💜💜
Man those are some expensive beauties, thanks for showing then to us.
I wonder what its like to be a tarantula owned by exotic 🤔
Awesome

This is a cool enclosure! Such a cool T! So sad bc it's missing g it's leg
I like how he has a tripod and never use it
I have to admit, before I found EL, I never found spooders cute.
I had a pet red back , x tarantula! SHE WAS SICK
This guy is my fav I’ve been watching him for a few years now
😄
I know nothing about spiders, just watched a few of these videos today. Just love how they stretched their legs out after they came out of thier packaging, they looked so happy and comfy so have a good stretch. :)
I would keep in that enclosure a Dart frog but never a T
Why?
@@ethanmccormack9561 too damp
It has already regenerated one of the rear legs, you can see a clear difference - much less hair and shinier than the others.
They are nice size slings. They are gorgeous too.
Best youtuber ever!!! On my other device right now I'm watching Part 8 Of watering Tarantulas
I was cringing every time he shook the spider jars, I would have jumped out too!
Bro how the hell did the tarantulas breath through that packaging 😂
I am not even gonna tell u :/
Look at that packaging 's so nice 🤩
Next level bro love the packaging
Are they venomous?
I believe they might be happier in their natural habiat, like not something the size of a shoebox.
I do belive the same but acttualy I also think that making bussines with them is no even moral, I mean I have arachnophobia but I belive they are just for the nature no to be priced some place at the Internet.
@@davidpinilla6578 True.
I love ur videos bro, now I want a tarantula, they look so cool
those are so cuuuute!!!!
You will be a lucky man if two of them turn out to be females.
I'm super deathly afraid of spiders of any size, but this guy really makes me wanna own a tarantula.
I've seen people use thin weed barriers(the black mesh roll in the gardening section) It allows water run through and keeps the substrate above the water. Because over time the substrate might fill the space between the rocks.
they are so beautiful ❤
the gradient on the abdamen is beautiful :3
Spiders with leg warmers! Neat. 😂
This was the most coolest video ever seen those tarantulas were awesome
well i dont have any intrest in spiders but dude, i love your videos and the way you talk and interact with the T's
