After being in the hobby for many years as well as on UA-cam, I have never encountered something like this when mating my tarantulas. This was so funny yet amazing to watch. Had fun editing this video too. Hope you guys enjoy!

My wife and I both have arachnophobia and we stumbled upon one of your Night feeding videos, we have found your voice and style relaxing and is helping us with that fear. I have PTSD and struggle with night terrors one being the Camel Spiders in Afghanistan/Iraq areas .... I was literally CHASED by one the size of a Dinner Plate while i was on a Fork Lift on the airbase ramp. So i have no desire to be anywhere near a HUGE spider but ... You have brought some cool videos that has been helping me not have as much of a hard time with spiders! Thank you sir! Keep it up! I hope to grow my small history channel just reached 1k 😊!

@Ignorant Flopper Really? I don't think so, there are many levels and meanings to the term handsome. The male spider was nice looking, alert and ready to get the job done. Obviously a male at the peak of his life and still in good performance mode. Not all scraggly and lethargic yet.. I have a male Brachypelma albiceps and I call him handsome all the time. He has good contrast with his coloring, very vibrant and energetic. A women can be called "handsome" also.. if she is not considered classically "pretty" but have strong, even clear features. Horses, "That is a very handsome pair of horses.." used to describe a pair of carriage horses that are matched well in color gait and size.
Look it up, handsome can mean substantial, pleasing to the eye and other things.
