I can't believe this... but we are already HALF way through the year. it's been such an incredible year. the ups, downs, and everything in between. I thought today i'd get all of you guys up to speed on life and especially, my r34 GTR that i've been storing in japan. This has been the biggest question for such a long time now, i think it's time you guys get an answer.

Hey Dut, love that you do these Q&A videos! Not sure if you’ve done something like this already, but would you be open to the idea of creating a video giving a condensed timeline/breakdown of where you started and how you got to where you are now? Talking about things you’ve learned along the way creating the business, what you would have done differently, helpful information for anyone wanting to follow a similar career path. I’ve been following you for a long time but not 11 years long, so I guess I could maybe go back to the very beginning and watch every single video lol

I understand that there is so much to do to keep growing and evolving bit some of what hooked us is the cars you've built and cruising which connects you to the viewer on a no cost but fun experience, probably one of the reasons we love the Japan vlogs as your cruising around meeting everyday people and seeing cars at meets in a nutshell it makes you a relatable normal car guy, and that's part of what we enjoyed from the start✌️

In regards to what to do with the Subie and such, I think cars like that just deserve to have a video where you do routine maintenance AND take it out to a meet for others to admire. Classic vlog stuff where you meet fans and admirers.
Will you be at Subiefest in Santa Anita Park this year? That'd be a great spot for the Subie specifically. It'll be my first time at Subiefest, but I've been to Wicked Big Meet three times. I'm looking forward to it! Thanks for the updates, bro.

Im 6 hrs behind but i work 3rd shift so i wasnt up yet. Im planning my trip to japan for next year thanks to you. I got a friend who is currently a teacher and has offered to give me a nice tour of where she is at.
11yrs wow time fly and I have been following about 7 to 8yrs.
5yrs for R34 but think of we had COVID lock down you can't travel to Japan. Well sad to see R34 is leaving from Japan.
You're always welcome to Japan because your truly respect our country and our cultures. Todays weak Japanese Yen brings over tourisms in Japan and person like you is just hard come by.

I feel like day in the life videos with the wrx for example could be fun. Includes going to a cars and coffee or something. Maybe put a go pro or two on the outside of the car for highway shots/pulls. Would help vary content and show off the other cars.

Car shows would be cool. I’d be very interested in a series of driving your cars in different places around the country. Like you’ve got the overland rig and a trailer so I’d honestly love a series where you drive to like Colorado with the rig. You explore a bit off road and then take out whatever car you bring (33,35,wrx,m2,etc.) and hit some of the cool backroads that are in that place. Similar to G&G road trips, I just think that’s something that you have the ability to do and other people don’t so getting to live through that would be amazing. Also, imagine the merch you can create of the M2 on pikes peak or the R33 on wolf-pen gap in North Georgia. Create your own series of togues in America and showcase it. You’d literally be a trailblazer

To answer your question Dut: just get back to the basics! We love your builds but what’s the point in building something that you don’t drive and enjoy! I miss the canyon runs for sure but it would be cool to see you just do some cruises around your city and getting shots of your cars around the area!

I wish you had just put the stock suspension back on and fixed the wheel (or ran oem) on the M2. I loved following the build up and would have rather seen it running in a lower class or trying to make it happen in the class your targeted. But alas. Good luck with the civic!

I know it's clear across the country, but my man I've got you a neon guy in Connecticut. By all means try to get one closer to you, but if all else fails he's a beast. Dude's name is Fred & he runs Elm City Neon, has been doing it since the 80s I reckon. Super close friends with my dad for decades. This shit is a dying art though, it's tough to find people that still even know how to do it. If you do something with him just tell him Alex's kid recommended you, and something about pinball machines since that's their main shared interest. Oh yeah, he's had some absolutely sick 80s conversion vans with airbrushed paintwork. Dude had a shit ton of trophies from car shows for those things. Wonder if he's still got em...
If you do a muscle car, nothing past the early 90s please. I would love to see a fox body hatchback, but I understand you probably mean "classic" in the traditional sense of like a 60s or 70s car. I used to be in the marketing dept for a pretty big online parts seller that deals with that era Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, El Camino, and I guess G-Body cars of the 80s too. That stuff's kind of gone stale for me honestly, having been exposed to X amount of rare SS packages, etc. You know, the one of twelve with this option bullshit.
