This game is a true gem, passed on gamecube.
It’s always weird to me to see Jango and Zam being friends and then Jango just flat out kills her in AOTC, no hesitation.
That’s the bounty hunter life. However there is a moment in the first YA boba fett book that dose show jango was sad about killing her. But he explains to boba that he had no choice because she was going to tell the Jedi who he was.
idk how tf I managed to beat the game when I was like 13 years old, but I did remember the last chapter being a nightmare filled with those mindless zombies that needed to be burned and pretty much feeling like a dark souls. This video seriously took me back and was hilarious, keep up the great content!
The Montross Cust scene was just a bunch of 80's action one-liners and I'm here for it

25:40 Clancy Brown is saying George Lucas "had to take his sweet fat time" to make the prequels, and by the time George got around to doing it, Clancy was too old to play Anakin even though he grew up on Star Wars and would've auditioned if George had started them when he was younger.
I didn't understand this when I was a kid either, but I just put it together😂

Count Dooku Taught Qui Gon in tales of the Jedi
Dooku had three Jedi padawans. His first was Rael Avatoss, who appears in the novel Master and Apprentice. The second is Qui-gon Jinn, and the third is an unnamed female that is implied to be Kamari Vosa.
Highly recommend reading the open seasons comic, it has a slightly different ending, dooku doesnt hire jango on kohlma, jango goes to meet him at dooku's palace, and they have a very cool interaction, which i prefer to him simply showing up at the end. personal headcanon is the game is true, but with the ending from the comic, jango probably would reply to vosa's final question with something like "Dead's simpler" and shoots her then meets dooku at his palace

Also, the Bando Gora may look like monkey things, but there is one piece of concept art in the Bonus section that shows a clearly human face with like some sort of skin stitched over it, leatherface style. Creepy stuff, this game.
As a final aside, ... man I wish Komari Vosa was recognized by the greater canon, such a cool character design.

Count Dokuu's apprentice was named and featured prominently in The Clone Wars Her backstory was altered somewhat, but Asaij Ventress was a part of a dark side cult, dual wielded and Sidious straight uo ordered Dokuu to kill her.I can't believe what I am hearing - you know this Andrew!?

I remember completing this game as a kid, finding out they’re remastering it send shivers down my spine because I know I shouldn’t get it again but it’s a Star Wars game I gotta get it.
If only they use some of this now, this game is hard AF. I don’t know if they are going to fix that because I remember buying a PlayStation for this and another game that can only be played on PlayStation and play on my X and something like that.. I can’t remember the creatures that you might have to go on tattooing the face for bounty and they’re everywhere attacking you. It took me forever. It took me as long to face this former Jedi train by Dooku. But it was a really good ending which I figured was was gonna happen that he knew that Django was gonna be the one to do it.. and then you get right there where he only knew him as Tyranus
Thank you for making vids on this, This was on of the first games I ever played on ps2 and in general. It was hard but I loved it and still itch to play it but can’t justify buying a ps2 just to play it lol.

Bounty Hunter is still canon due to Jango referencing the end of the game(even if only in an innocuous comment) in AotC when talking to Obi-Wan on Kamino: "I was recruited by a man named Tyrannus on one of the moons of Bogden."
Edit to add: the Bando Gora are still, to this day, the creepiest video game enemies I've ever seen. Their numbers + their look + how well they blend into the shadows + how much damage they do to Jango per hit + something about the way they come at you = fuck that! I would pick them off from a distance before I knew the flamethrower & a ledge was so effective against them. Thank goodness they can't climb.

One of my favorite games from way back then. Took me awhile to beat it as well. But only a couple months. I enjoyed the dark horse comics you could collect, also still to this day whenever I hurt myself I always say “that hurt” just like Mon Tross. Something I’ve been saying for over 20 years 😂
I just beat it for the first time last year. Same experience, as a kid I kept replaying the game but never finished
I busted my ass playing this the first time. But i learned how to play it and got used to it. Smashed through it 2nd time. Enjoy.

It came out when I was 14. I could never finish the Malstare mission but my kid brother, then 9, finished the entire game repeatedly. I wasn't very happy so I played The Clone Wars instead. Much easier.
Dude, I completed it at least 10 times on GameCube since 2002. Yes, it's hard, but not Dark Souls or Nioh hard.

Around this time 2 years ago, I finished this game after playing for all of my childhood. I also then decided to complete all of the achievements on ps4 and let me tell you, it was the single most difficult thing I have ever done, and there's not even a platinum trophy for it🤦😂

Kohlma was still easier than Tatooine in my experience. I was able to beat that one whole, unlike the first which i could never beat the level with hordes of criminals.
