Awesome!! Man I could never get past the initial thought process of how/where to mount such a thing. Might have to get a new car with just the right layout, but it looks like it would be totally worth it.
Mounting to the chassis is definitly one of the challenges! There's a couple different ways I like to do it that aren't a total pain. I'll cover that a little later in the series for sure.
Great vids. I ran mine for a number of months but any huge bumps/jumps would throw it off and I gave up on it. Maybe I'll try again after watching this and learning quite a bit since then.
That can happen for sure, its a rather fussy process getting it balanced just right, well tuned pid's etc. My slash handles the bumps and jumps better than my senton. For some reason my tt02 could take the worst abuse and the gimbal was fine.
thank you very much for the guides. your videos convinced me to get a gimbal as well! do you have an idea why i can't get a readout for the Imu2 1 point calibration? i followed your guide step by step (imu2 config. off at first) thank you!
You bet! I kind of go through some of this stuff quickly, just excited to get the material out. I can do some more focused vids if things need clarification.
For dji check out the qlite osd 👍theres a bunch of videos about this here on youtube that show where to get it and how to put it together. On analog I use the Tarot TL300L2 mini osd, i got that on aliexpress.
I've had good luck on aliexpress. First one I got was on banggood. Most times they gimbal comes configured to be hanging from the base. So you'll need to run the gimbal config tool right off the bat to have it work right when it's standing in its base. Hope that makes sense
Awesome, You got me sold Upgrading scx6 fpv here i go Thank you please continue the videos😊
