While on holiday in Mexico I went for a stroll along the beach. It was a rather warm day so I stopped at a little market to buy an ice cold beverage to enjoy on my walk.
I accidentally bought a Clamato-flavored beer.
Even combined, I think a score of 19 is very generous.
"Who would have thought that clams and tomatoes would be best friends?"

How did it get into the hands of Mexicans? We use it to make shrimp cocktails and stuff! My favorite thing to do is crack a can of beer open and take a swig then squeeze a lime in there, some salt, and a pour of Clamato. Like a lazy michelada.

I would suggest 99 Brand liqueur (any flavor, there's like 10 or so). Something new I found late this year that's an interesting form of self-punishment.

Dude these videos are so awesome! I'm leaving this recipe I know below bc American light beers dont hit the same as Mexican lights with this drink, but these are usually served fresh, and a dark beer is the best imo for a Michelada. I hope you try it man!
Frozen Cup/ Beer Mug
Lime and Tajin Rim
1 Modelo Negra (805 is good too)
~ 1 small lime
3-4 oz, Clamato
2-3 dash's of Worcestershire sauce
Valentina Hot sauce (to taste)
- Can be substituted with Tapatio, Cholula, etc.
If you wanna go crazy throw a shot of Mezcal in there
If you dont wanna do this, just grab a Sol or Modelo chelada 👍🏼
The fact that one of these is called “fuego” means we need a Taki’s flavored beer. Right now.

But yeah, I've tried the bud ones as well and yeah... They're just not as good. Like not terrible, but only time I'd get it is if the others aren't available.

The estrellas always looked like they wouldnt be good to me, but i might give it a try since you said something. Btw, if you think the bud light ones are bad, try the budweiser, its even worse

I wish they made a normal one ontop of that because I don't always want fruit, but that's where modelo still comes in for me.
Modelo chelada is the best! The kind of spicy version and tamarind version are awesome too! Sooooo much better vs other cheladas
Honestly, and call me crazy, but I enjoy a can in the morning when I'm out hunting (after)/ camping/ fishing.
Make some fresh! Just buy your own cheap beer, clamato, and maybe some Bloody Mary mix ins (ie hot sauce, Worcestershire/soy sauce/magi, etc) and you're set!

"Chelada" is a Mexican apocope for Michelada. Chela or Cheve is Mexican slang for beer. Chelada is composed of Chela or Cheve and helada, cold beer.

I've made this. Whoever thought of this is trying to take you back to that first beer that you loved. The one at the beach in Mexico.
I don't care what anyone says, I actually like the Modelo Chelada.
I like these like a dollar menu cheeseburger. Are they good? No. Do they offer a prepackaged can of beer and tomato? Yes. Pairings? McDonald's French fries and a headache from the night before.

Wanted to go back and comment on an older video because I personally feel this is more the vibe! My humble opinion is that this wine guy describing putrid drinks is funny. This is due to the dry humor that ensues from a prestigious person with self deprecating humor :P. I love the amount of content; however, keeping true to the core idea is more important to me.
