Paul, I loved your story. I equate it to parenthood, my son has autism and epilepsy. If parenthood isn't hard enough, any childhood diagnosis can throw a mom across the boat, break her ribs, and leave her without breath and words. I had to figure out how to accept, navigate new waters and make changes to my environment to survive and that's what my son does every moment of every day.
