So, 2 things: 1. This is an awesome, compact product that is well designed and simply thought out. 2. You're awesome and I like your curiosity with any project that falls outside of the temperature ranges of the unit. Well done!
Awesome! So with the wildly fluctuating temperatures of my basement this thing will automatically switch between cooling and heating? I'll just wrap a heater around my carboy, drop it in a freezer and forget about it for a couple weeks! ...adding this to my wish list for Christmas; oh ya!
1:50 I have a fun project which requires an automatic shutoff at 222 degrees fahrenheit. Can this adjustment be made to a new version of this product? Let's make some Maple Syrup!!
I supposed it could be. It's really meant for maintaining fermentation temperatures, but should work to keep any ambient temperature at a set high/low temperature. Now I want to pet a bunch of puppies!
My coworkers have properly chastised me for not asking that you send us photos of the adorable puppies with this setup if you do in fact get our temp controller.
On our site, Inkbird costs $10 more than the Northern Brewer Dual-Stage Temp Controller. www.northernbrewer.com/collections/fermentation-temperature-control
You kinda just skipped the most important part - how to set it! That’s why I use UA-cam, so I can see how things are done without reading the manual. Like explain what each setting does

Let us know if you got some wacky happening outside of that range. Hahahaha. Cheers!
For the existing temperature sensor in my keezer, do I set that to off? Or is there a preferred position that this needs to be placed in?
I don't think it matters really because the temperature controller will essentially override it either way.

I wish there was a programming video. 😶
We'll add it to the list of video requests. You can always contact us at for more immediate help.
Yes please! A how-to programming vid would be very useful.
