    Peach Cobbler:
    Ingredients:
2 cups sliced peaches (fresh or frozen)
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 cup water
½ of a 15 ounce box yellow cake mix
    1/4 cup butter
    Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, mix together peaches, cinnamon, and brown sugar, until all the peaches are coated.
Place insert into the bottom of the Instant Pot and then place the trivet in the bottom of the insert. Pour the 1 cup of water around the trivet.
In an oven safe pan that fits in your Instant Pot (I used a deep 7 inch cake pan that fits perfectly in my 6 quart Instant Pot), add in the peaches.
Sprinkle yellow cake mix over peaches, covering all the peaches (make sure you are using the dry cake mix - don't follow the instructions on the box to make cake batter).
Slice the butter into small pieces and lay over the cake mix. The entire dry cake mix should be covered in sliced butter.
Top the pan tightly with a piece of aluminum foil to keep it from bubbling over the edge and keep extra moisture out of your cobbler.
Set the lid on top of the Instant Pot and turn the valve to SEALING. Press the MANUAL or PRESSURE COOK button and set the timer for 15 minutes on HIGH PRESSURE.
Once the cobbler is done cooking, let the pressure naturally release for 10 minutes, then move the valve to VENTING to release the remaining pressure.
Remove the lid and carefully remove the pan from the Instant Pot (you will want to use hot pads because that pan will be hot!).
Serve with a scoop of ice cream or freshly whipped cream.

For the rice krispy treats I'd like to share a trick so you don't have to spray your hands like that. Run a large spoon under cold water and use the back of the spoon to smooth out your rice krispies in the pan. The cold spoon glides easily over them. If it starts to stick, run your spoon under the cold water again. So much easier. Great video.

Tip: When you are covering something like the peach cobbler in foil, if you will put it on the trivet while still on the counter, then you can use the handles to lower it into the IP without the foil getting all messed up.

Awesome I have a Instant pot Duo is there anything different than regular one's. I am so scared to start using it I can't afford anything else right now so hopefully what I have is enough for now. What came with it is what I am saying. I have a couple roasts in my freezer would like to make some barbecue beef with it_ just don't know if it's a good place to start. So scary. I got mine on a garage sale online awesome price only $40 it's perfect no dents nothing wrong at all. Amen. Only way this disabled old lady could afford one. 🙄😒😪 least I have one now. Now just learning how to use it. Thanks to you hopefully I can.

The Duo is one of the most popular models. As long as you have the trivet, you can do so much. Try hardboiled eggs, rice, or potatoes first. I couldn't try with a roast right away and many people prefer roasts in the slow cooker.

    • @Artsygoons
      @Artsygoons 4 роки тому

I am fairly new to IP (got mine end of Dec). I make a one pot spaghetti. Brown your meat on saute and then add half the pasta sauce in the meat (I puree a can of Italian tomatoes for my sauce, and use two cans. I prefer Red Gold). Add the noodles that are already sized for the pot (or break long ones in half). Put it over the sauce mixture. Do not mix. Add another can of tomatoes to cover the noodles. Do not mix.
I pressure cook on high for 8 minutes. Quick release the steam. I use tongs or a pasta utensil to separate the noodles and mix everything together. I let it sit for a few minutes to soak up juices. Sometimes I thicken, if needed, with xanthan gum. Also, I have used chicken and frozen meatballs in place of ground beef. All turn out great. It has been a game changer. So quick and easy.
We got the Duo Crisp so we can air fry also. I have added cheese and then put the fry lid on to make it like a baked spaghetti also.
