Absolutely brilliant inclusion of some of Who’s own hits! 2:58 Venusian Lullaby 3:16 Circus Rap 4:18 The King’s Song Love Don’t Roam Ballad of the Last Chance Saloon
I love Doctor Who, I love the 4 Chord song so this is perfect. Did wonder if you were going to cut Birdplane shorter then the original although could have been a good use of that infamous Tom Baker with K9 clip.
We're thrilled you enjoyed it! :D We try to choose family-friendly songs, so we knew from the get-go that we'd have to shorten Birdplane... Love your idea of using the Tom Baker clip though! xD
Given four-chord progressions and 4/4 timing there are so many songs that, with a little transposing, can merge in this way, but I have never seen (heard) such a mix as this before. Amazing.
If you haven't seen the original "4 Chords" performances by The Axis of Awesome, we highly recommend them. The concept works even better when the notes being sung are accurate ;)
@@DoctorWhoSings Thanks, I haven’t. I’m a (mostly awful) keyboard player and have a reasonable grasp of music theory, and as a physicist have been fascinated by the science of music. So chords, harmonics and such are somewhat of an interest. There is a rather annoying loud pianist that pops up on YT adverts astonishingly regularly who waxes lyrical about how you can play hundreds of songs by learning just four chords. I’ve been mugging keyboards for over four decades doing just that!
All I can say is ...whew! That must have taken an ENORMOUS effort!
Finding the four chord gremlins hidden in the show’s history is a masterful touch. This is indeed the high point.

2:58 Venusian Lullaby
3:16 Circus Rap
4:18 The King’s Song
Love Don’t Roam
Ballad of the Last Chance Saloon
the ballad of the last chance saloon is insane, it's the best piece of who media imo
Glorious!
Thanks so much.
I love your videos of Doctor who ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
I don't know what the hell I just watched, but that was glorious!
