Doctor Who Sings
Australia
Приєднався 18 гру 2019
Using a variety of sources, we recreate popular songs using only words spoken in the BBC TV series Doctor Who (and, occasionally, a spin-off or three).
Doctor Who Sings - A Season 1 Medley
Season 1 of Doctor Who was full of music, from classic hits to original compositions. Since we’ve already covered “There’s Always a Twist at the End”, we thought it’d be fun to have a go at some of the other music from the season. To that end, we decided to go down the medley route again to create sections from six different songs used across the season. This is far from all the music used, but we went with the ones we thought we could do the most with. With promises from RTD that there’ll be more music used in Season 2, we may well see you again this time next year with “A Season 2 Medley”!
Song list:
0:36 - “Can’t Get You Outta My Head” by Kylie Minogue
1:21 - “The Skye Boat Song” originally written by William Ross

3:03 - “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini” by Brian Hyland
3:51 - “California Soul” by Marlena Shaw
4:24 - “Pure Imagination” from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”, originally performed by Gene Wilder

Doctor Who Sings - There's Always a Twist at the End
Переглядів 2 тис.2 місяці тому
Shoutout to Agnor for creating the instrumental track used in this video (check out their full video, including an acapella version of the song, here: ua-cam.com/video/1MuVQy8D9ek/v-deo.html) Before “The Devil’s Chord” first aired, we had a sneaking suspicion it was going to feature a new song written especially for the episode. As soon as “There’s Always a Twist at the End” began, it went stra...
Doctor Who Sings - 4 Chords
Переглядів 1,5 тис.3 місяці тому
Every now and then, a more unusual song will catch our eye, and the sudden urge to make it becomes irresistible. That’s exactly what happened when we were recently reminded of “4 Chords” by The Axis of Awesome, and so we got to work! We decided to mash up the viral 2009 version of the song with the official 2011 performance on their UA-cam channel, to create a mash-upped mash-up! On top of that...
Doctor Who (& Co.) Sings - Wakko's America
Переглядів 7425 місяців тому
A while ago, we tackled “The Nations of the World” song from the “Animaniacs” TV show. Afterwards, we received a lot of requests for “Wakko’s America”, which we ruled out at the time. We just didn’t think there’d be enough US states and their capitals referenced in Doctor Who. Well, our curiosity eventually got the better of us, so we started doing a little research. It turns out that we actual...

Brilliant! 😂😊🌈
Legendary❤
How did you do with the "Ra Ra" part when the Doctor Who characters sang Rasputin?
Hahaaaa!! that's cool! 😎👍🏾🔥🔥✌🏾
Ohh, that's brilliant!!
Tripe 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Excellent
Oh wow! The Shalka Doctor! Wasn't expecting that!
After his little cameo in Rogue, it felt fitting that he should make a little cameo in this too :)
Absolutely love this! Brilliant! 😂😊
This man is scary! Today is Halloween and it seems fit to have someone like him in the mix!Yes yes yes the man who could kill you with his Fondant! please be very careful around him!
May me think of the episode of Green Wing where Sue (Michelle Gomez - Missy) sings the Kylie song.
Really disappointed you didn't include the Beatles smash it "I've got a dog"
We had planned on it being in there, but we couldn't find a clean copy of the music to work with. If we had, it would absolutely have been included!
Love Itsy Bitsy! There's something about Daleks and Cybermen saying parts at the beginning - such an unlikely juxtaposition. Brilliant, as usual.
It's funny how Rogue says "Have your fun" when he just stopped him from having fun by preventing him from playing the music.
I love how you edited it to make it so it's the Doctor annoying Rogue with different songs, that's absolutely brilliant! 😂😂
I think we knew we were going to do that with it before we'd even chosen all of the songs xD
Hi Doctor who I love your videos ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ of Doctor music 🎶 😂 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Brilliant as always 😂❤ x
Of course you had to use a Kylie clip for the first song lol
Glad to see she made an appearance for her own song!!
Yessss, I was hoping you would do this! This is so good! And I don't care what anyone says, this whole musical number is so much fun and it's a very catchy song!
I’m wheezing over the aggressiveness of JAR
Brilliant as always! 😊😊
Now do the Fall Out Boy version!
Wonderful, as ever, thank you
😂😂😂 Excellent! /¡Excelente!😅😅😅😅 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Lovely! Thanks guys
Brilliant! 😊😊
Where's David Tennant?
Me: *doomscrolling on my birthday* This video: "Happy birthday dear Doctor."
Love how now it plays even tho it was banned in usa for 48 hours
Okay, this is a masterpiece 😂😂
This is amazing 👏🏻
I love how every young man is said by william hartnell
ÆÆÆÆ *says he as he falls*
This is genius!!! ❤
Brilliant! 😂😊
But you didn't include the greatest Doctor Who ever, Tom Baker.
Nice work guys!
Love it!
I love this song
2:20 best part by far. It was great how you found the exact tune to the time
7/10 good job 👏 👍
4:23 He’s gotta be strong And he’s gotta be fast And he’ll never know if he was right
Amazing! Brilliant video!
Given four-chord progressions and 4/4 timing there are so many songs that, with a little transposing, can merge in this way, but I have never seen (heard) such a mix as this before. Amazing.
If you haven't seen the original "4 Chords" performances by The Axis of Awesome, we highly recommend them. The concept works even better when the notes being sung are accurate ;)
@@DoctorWhoSings Thanks, I haven’t. I’m a (mostly awful) keyboard player and have a reasonable grasp of music theory, and as a physicist have been fascinated by the science of music. So chords, harmonics and such are somewhat of an interest. There is a rather annoying loud pianist that pops up on YT adverts astonishingly regularly who waxes lyrical about how you can play hundreds of songs by learning just four chords. I’ve been mugging keyboards for over four decades doing just that!
It's very funny tho it's more of a banger this way
I can't help putting this on repeat, help
Finding the four chord gremlins hidden in the show’s history is a masterful touch. This is indeed the high point.
This is a delightful coincidence - just last night I was looking at some of your videos and thinking that it'd be fun if you did 'There's Always a Twist' at some point, and the very next day, this was posted! Very good work as always!
I absolutely love this!
I was expecting the original. This was a twist!
Isn't there always? ;)
Amazing
