- As of today, Avicii Arena is the new name of the iconic globe shaped arena in Sweden. Avicii Arena becomes a symbol and meeting place for an initiative focused on young people's mental health. In celebration of the renaming, The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra has recorded a symphonic version of the Avicii song "For A Better Day", sung by 14-year-old Ella.

This hits different when you grew up listening to Avicii and his music helped you when you needed to be saved the most. But suddenly one Friday you come home from school on your birthday and learn about his passing. Sometimes it still hurts to listen to his music without crying. We miss you Avicii, you saved my life but I'm sorry we couldn't save yours, we love you. 💚

When I came home I turned into a edm radio station and that’s how I found out. I remember going to my mom’s room and crying on the floor thinking about my deceased twin sister and now Avicii. It still breaks my heart to think about how short his life was cut and how much potential he had. I hope he’s now at peace though. 🙏🏼

He wasn’t just a dj. He was much more than that. He wrote music at an iconic level, unbeknownst to most. His musical genius was taken for granted. Listening to the orchestra play his music makes it clear that he was on another level. His brain must never have shut off with all the genius ideas he had on how to produce music. He was truly one of a kind and he is sorely missed. I can only imagine what other music was in his brain pounding to get out.
Imagine those songs avicii might have made. Take his music, inspire your own. Carry his heart and soul forward with you. and craft your own destiny and live a life to remember
Great to see a country honour its heroes. Too many countries try to tear down people who have achieved something and are in the public eye
I truly miss Avicii’s music. It was a style so unique that it could not truly be reproduced. Listening to his lesser known tracks, news of his death seemed surreal.
Try Kygo, he was inspired by avicii and adds lots of his own style to the music as well.

Will never forget that Friday in third grade school when a friend played Avicii's song. It was the first time I heard his song and knew who it was and I loved it. The next day, my mother asks if I know who Avicii is. I answer yes and then she said he had died. I could not understand it at first , but that the day after I found out who it was, he dies! Will never forget that moment, and you, Avicii!❤️
