My intro to schumacher was the old shotgun truck back in 1990 or so. Awesome.

Love this videos, super informative. A lot of channels seem to focus on bashers. Which is cool but not everything :)

I am getting one from someone at a local track for 75$ which is insane. they put it low cause they run associated t6.4 now. I was curious the track I race is 12-13 sec lap times should I run a 10.5 touring motor or 5.5 I have and tune it around remote and esc? Or should I get a different size motor? And any thing else else you recommend to getting up to speed in st class? I race stock buggy, and 10.5 short course(our track runs 10.5 and less even tho most places are only 13.5)

Did I hear you right. It came with a front sway bar but no rear sway bar?

It's also great on Tarmac with some rear Venom tires.

Does your servo horn easily clear the steering rack. I am having binding issues there on my storm ST. Are you running the stock ones? It was hard to tell.

@@Docmcfly233 mine is really close, but I’m running the Aero-X servo horn.

So can you throw this on a Dirt track and just let it rip i like the way schumacher is going and they discountinued the TLR so for its either T6.4 or the schumacher?

Thanks for the review, great info. Oh and we get you don't like the shock cups. You say that in every Schumacher review :)

I know this is intended as a racing truck but do you think it would be tough enough for a bit of bashing and messing about?
Not talking about Kevin Talbot levels or anywhere near but just some messing about in the woods and stuff.
    Thanks

Stadium trucks are inherently good at being played around with like that. The bigger tires and longer suspension travel makes them better for bashing than 1/10th scale buggies. That being said, this is a car that's at least partially focused on carpet racing and thus is designed to have a low center of gravity and a low ground clearance relative to more bashing-focused vehicles.
For light to medium bashing, I'd say give it a go, but just keep in mind it might not be as happy on rough terrain as an ARRMA Vortex or a Traxxas Rustler would be.

Great video as always Razor. What is the red wrap around your wires? I need something like that for a vehicle.

Aren't those latches around the bottom shock cap supposed to to be bend around the spring to hold it in place? Not familiar with Schumacher, just asking.
In earlier videos your springs seemed to come of very easily.

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  3 роки тому

I don’t know if they’re designed that way, but yeah I’ve started heating them up and bending them back.

That S2 material is crap in my opinion 🧐 Stick wth carbon or aluminum parts! Great vehicles though I love all mine
