    During the initial posting of this review video Oupes was giving away an Oupes 600 with the purchase of the Mega 5; that campaign is currently over; however for their Black Friday Sale Oupes has reduced their prices and has provided me with a 10% Off Code that you can use in their store: Use Code AlaskaMega For 5% OFF The All New Oupes Mega 2 or Use The Code AlaskaPrepper to save 10% Off Everything Else

    I am in 🥰 with this monster! Wowza! This would literally power EVERYTHING I could need. And with the 2nd battery, fogetaboutit! I’m putting this on my dream list and figuring out how to save up for it. I never thought I would ever look at anything besides the EcoFlow line, but dang Rudy just had to go and upend my whole view of the best solar availability.

    I see everyone talking about a dryer , well I live in Florida and when there is no electricity believe me....last thing on your mind is using a dryer! After hurricane went 11 days with no electricity, and it is horrible. Worth the money. Thank you for your hard work.

      Yeah a dryer is not a factor when the power is out in a hot area. I'm in Georgia and the A/C unit will take priority many months. Window A/C and Fridge is priority, then fans, then washer / microwave. Hanging your stuff to dry.

    Your cloth dryer runs on 240V (the plug of your dryer has 4 prongs for L1, L2, Neutral, and ground) so you cannot use that 120V 30A outlet of this unit to hook up to your dryer.

      Is there an adapter that would fit?

    • @rpforsyth
      @rpforsyth 8 місяців тому

      An adapter is not the issue. The Mega 5 puts out 120 volts. A dryer requires 240. Maybe with two units connected it will provide “split phase” and produce 240 volts?

    Please give the needed links for answers to these questions, ASAP. What is the current cost, and purchase essentials as of today, 08-11-2024? How many solar panels are needed with this product? Does this price include all needed solar panels? What is an Anderson power cord and how and why would it be used? What is the physical dimensions and size of this product ? What size EMP protection would be needed? Would it fit into a Faraday Cage made from a galvanized trash can?

    Your 4 prong dryer cord is 240 volts & the 3 prong on the oupes is only 120 volts that should deliver up to 30 amps of said 120 volts.
    DO not try and use your dryer on this!

    Yeah, it sounds like you could run my kitchen stove oven. But it was still not not enough power to run my water heater with a surge. Maybe, but it won't be surging enough for a run in the water heater. And I wand it won't run my dryer at all.
    Cause it still is inconsistent of power. To run that a 5000 what a seawoodor a 9000 W AC. All blue ed. Of course , the nine thousand watt generator can take up the sixteenbatteries at five thousand watts each a better capacity for each battery but it is very expensive.

  • @damonr4136
    @damonr4136 2 місяці тому

    All the AC 500 blue eddiehas a 5000 Won generator finally, it comes with a generator you got a body of batteries with it. They have power that could be your most powerful portable generator and besides , get connect to those together and to make ten thousand wants. And both those generators will take something like five batteries each something like that anyways. And each of those batteries are three thousand watts and self heating.

    My Sprinter Campervan is being built out right now but i haven't chosen an electrical system yet. The builder is going to run all the wiring from the various components to the rear and it will all be tied into a Blue Sea 12v distribution panel. There will also be 3 120v outlets for standard household items as well and those will be ran to the rear also but I'm not sure where they'll be tied in, that part I'm unclear on. Rather than buying a massive battery bank and all of the additional components, I'm considering this Mega 5. How would i tie this into the 12v panel and how can i tie the 3 120v outlets in as well. I'm looking for advice please. Thank you!
