This looks so professional and beautiful! I love that you thought of the inset shelves in the walls to maximize the storage. The only thing I would've done differently is to install a wood butcher-block counter top instead of wall papering the counter. I think the green color you chose is stunning! Absolutely brilliant! ❤
What great ideas in this build out. My favorites are the shelves within the stud walls, great use of otherwise wasted space. The door is pretty clever also and so much extra storage and it looks good. Nicely done!
what do I like..... EVERYTHING! our pantry for a family of 7 now 14 when they all come home is an under the stairs SMALL closet. it's a very sad space. I'm showing the family this!!!!❤
Absolutely incredible! Smart to take advantage of the space between the wall studs. My dad built pantries in between the studs in my kitchen. There was one wall that wasn't good for anything else. It's perpendicular to the fridge so the section closest to the fridge is one can deep. That's so much better for cans! Also perfect for spice jars. The other section is deeper and comes out into the room a little. It's the depth of cereal and cracker boxes. Everyone should be considering that space!
Love how it turned out. I think I would’ve added some brass rails to the shelving on the door. Glass jars on a moving shelf makes me nervous + I have kids & dogs 😬 but otherwise, it looks great! Lots of hard work
There is a lip on the shelves so they won’t slide off, but brass rails were the original plan and I may still add them cause they are soooo pretty and I’ve been dying to use them somewhere! 🤔 And thank you so much!
You did a fantastic job, this looks way better than before. Least favourite thing is the countertop, which looks like the sticker came off at the edge. The colours are very nice and the inset shelves are a fantastic way to get more storage. I really like the concrete walls we use in Germany, but sometimes I wish we had more plasterboard so we could do this too.
Everything looks great! One question: is the door opening a little tight? I’m a big guy and it looks like I’d have a hard time getting in and out of the pantry. I love the idea of the Murphy door, but unless it was a 36” door to start with, I don’t think that hardware would work for me.
It definitely makes it more narrow. The pantry started out at 25in wide, and now the opening is 15in. Now that I know I can successfully build a Murphy door I will end up widening it eventually. The pantry door is already more narrow than a regular door to start with, which is why it’s so narrow now.
???First and foremost this was so inspirational and wow what a phenomenal job you did!!!! One question, I have a pantry nearly identical in size and would love to do this but I feel like it’s going to require a lot of purging of items. Were you able to fit all that you had before or was there a percentage of stuff you couldn’t fit back in?
I only purged a few things that were expired, I did relocate the rolling dog food container to another cabinet and moved my fancy panz to above the fridge, but everything that was in there before aside from those few things are still in there. The drawers really help to utilize the debth and the in wall shelves help with small things to stay organized.
You did a fabulous job!
Thanks!!
Favorite part is it’s a hidden passageway!

Thank you so much! And I totally agree but I think I might tile it and take off the paper cause I’m in love with the white! 😍😍

❤❤❤ You are amazing. The only thing I would do differently is not store the heavy appliances over my head. 😅So amazing.
I completely get that! I store it more for how often we use it vs. the weight.
This just came up in my feed…. I work in construction and you did an outstanding job! Looks great! ❤
Thank you so much!

Awesome lady. You go girl. You should be friends with my wife. 😊😊
I wish she lived next to me.😂
I love everything!! How is the opening to the pantry working? You said it was narrow. That would be my only concern if I had your pantry.
It is pretty narrow, hasn’t really bothered us yet. I may end up widening it one day though!
❤❤❤❤❤

My least favorite is that faux marble perhaps you can get a scrap piece of stone or quartz or wood on the cheap and insert that instead
Ya, i may end up tiling it or replacing it when I have the kitchen counters replaced.
