- This is a just a testsession to try out the KORG mini synths and Monotribe
All noises and lo-fi distorted sounds are intentional ::::
No audio FX and/or post processing other than limiter and some minor EQ adjustments, all you hear are the devices Monotribe, Monotron, Monotron Delay, Monotron Duo daisy chained and plugged in straight to a DAW.
Have been listening to your stuff a lot. This is killer!! 8 years ago! wow. Monotribe is the ace.

Love the monotrons, also have them all three! I use them together with Korg Gadget app on iPhone for weird effects, gorgeous filter sweeps etc. Check out JUPITERBARNEN - SPELA FORTNITE HELA DAN on Apple Music & Spotify to hear the monotrons in an old school synth pop mix, with my kids screaming on top of it :)

Great stuff, man. You should do some scoretrack, this totally sounds like a scary movie, very dark.

hey question?? the bass kick coming out of my tribe is awful..i mean just a dreadful pop that literally makes me flinch and angry after a couple bars..i can certainly work it out via my trons,kaos pads/peddles ect..but im curious because i keep seeing videos with these really rich sounding kicks coming out of monotribes. Are these great sounding kicks all just running processors?? Your dialed..thought id ask.

On the monotribe kick, i just have a tiny bit of limiter at the end to take the peaks off on this particular track and just a tiny boost on the bottom end EQ, i do need to add however that it is becoms pretty saturated through the monotrons (basically overdrive internally due to cranked output).
But overall, id say the monotribe drums needs some fiddling to sound good, give it a bit of compressor and it will start to punch. Not much, but that extra to make the kick pop

this is just straight into a macbook pro, through the built in audio input :) a bit cheesy i know but i was in a hurry testing the gear at a friends place

Very cool! I have had a few Monotrons and have a Monotribe (MIDI mods, but misplaced the adapter cables, dammit! 3.5mm to MIDI 5 pin), but never used them quite like this. Thanks.

thanks! the monotron/monotron duo devices are just daisy chained, through headphone/aux jacks into monotribe audio in. The monotribe audio out to aux on the monotron delay.. peace!

I know but it seems that there were none to sell on ebay in Europe... But I couldn't resist and bought the thing from the States, waiting to play with this now, I'm just starting with synths and it will be a great addition to my Microbrute :)

I love this with every fiber in my body! it ressonates me (iem little bit drunk, so my judgement here is clouded by that, but it doesnt mean it not comming from my heart). That is power! The end feels like orgasm! I heard it firsttime this afternoon, sober, (but not in position to explore it loud and alone) but now i return a little bit drunk and it sounds even better!
im back, damm, i would buy this if their was a record! its so raw and honest! i also respect that's made with 3 synth worth toghtet 150 bucks!
