A finnish artist who made a whole album using only sound he could create off of his own body...of course heavy post processing was done, but still. quite interesting.

Chilly Gonzales on his album Presidential Suite uses mostly sounds from toys. The sisters from Coco Rosie did this a lot too.

The rhythmic possibilities brough by the filter and the "Gate time" button are beyond expectation. The way you use "Gate time" is inspiring!

I am an OAP and just bought Monotribe at give away price. After a few hours of tweaking I am " getting it". I will have a go at tge fast finger responses. This thing is incredibly addictive and Fat with the phones on! I just love it. I have microfreaks and volcas but this thing can be played solo. Its amazing. Thanks. Pss... Never tell an OAP he is too old to learn new ticks!!!!!. Or else!!!!!! You get a jam party.

I think the new Volca Sample all but negates the need for a Volca Beats. Having the Sample's Swing in the sync chain is nice, and it just opens up so many more possibilities for the small format rhythm machine.

Maybe because the most important part of a synth is the oscillator and not the keys ! A synth can work without keys but not without an oscillator... and even a piano can be seen as a mechanical synth, with strings for mechanicals oscillators, and here again without the string, the key is nothing !!🙄
