It's incredible what you do on a reasonable budget. Great foresight. Outstanding project. I may just try to duplicate this next winter. Who doesn't want a General Lee?
Keep on posting your projects, you explained them well and they gives lot of ideas. I don't care if your not posting very often. I'll be back to learn from you. Nice job on that one again.
Wow, I'm glad I looked up "wltoys general lee", I just got my basherbodies charger 1/8 white body to modify my wltoys 124016 v2. EDIT: to prevent flexing you could also install aluminum L bars on top of the baseplate, which also protects the sides.
This will be my next build. Great job. I build my own frames and use erector set metal. Yes they bend but. That’s the fun. They bend I rebuild them. Thank you
Hey, I'm a big fan of the General Lee as well and I've made 3 of them so far and the biggest deal for me was to get the Dixie horn on it. If you would like the 1969 Charger engine sound and the Dixie horn on your General Lees, ESS makes a dual sound simulator with these sounds on it as long as you download the software program for it and load the ESS with them and it's all free. I really like my General Lee a lot better now that it sounds like a General Lee and can blow the Dixie horn like crazy.
Fall Guy truck is on my list too. I started one on a Barrage a few years ago but never finished it because it's too small compared to my other vehicles.
Man, you do a great job with these vids. So easy to follow along. I've saved your Fazer build, and I'll save this one. Real busy atm, but this build is on my 'to do list' Ever considered doing any other iconic car builds?, Night Rider, Starskey & Hutch, the A-Team van.?? This is a great channel man. Your good at this mate.
Great job. One problem with those vehicles is that the dog bones in the rear pop out and get lost all the time. One solution to that problem is to use CVD's front and back.
i lovehow you can build your own car but im having a hard time with the wheels i cant find any body to make me some and i dont have a three dee printer so how much will it cost you to make me some for my rc car
@electronsmove Ive got a touring car build in the works that I'm planning to put drift tires on. It's not a drift chassis, but the project could just as easily use a drift chassis.
If you relocate the shocks to where they sit more straight up and done they will actually do what they are supposed to when they are angled they way you have them they only shock the control arm to be more benificail for landing they need to be like a real car more straight up and down with rc cars think of the same way as a real car and I garuntee you get better results
The Duke boys would be proud ! 👍👍👍👍👍
Yeeeee!!!!!!! 💥Hawwww!!!!!!🤠
dude, good job with this! I've never seen anyone make the RJSpeed body look so good. That is a sweet stunt car. Love the General

Wow!!!😃 That's rc custom history of the charger!🤠

You really need the twin flags on the trunk lid. :)
You're right. I have them on my Kyosho, but I flat forgot to put it on this one!
Great work! It turned out awesome!

@@BudgetRC_Channel thank you
Could you use the slipped clutch and 2 piece drive shaft upgrade then find a 1/10 shaft set instead?
I'm not real sure, I'm not super familiar with mods for this platform. Sorry!
AWESOME!!!

Thanks for the heads-up!
SO COOL

You can message me through my Budget RC Facebook page if you're interested in having me print some wheels. Thanks!
Needs to be mounted on drift chassis. The General never could go straight on any surface.
That's not the point of this build. This is a jump car.
@@BudgetRC_Channel I meant in addition to this one not instead of.

@@BudgetRC_Channel looking forward to seeing it in action.
