Some people on reddit reported thinner beards after starting finasteride. Did you experience any beard hair loss once starting? Also why the change from topical finasteride to oral?
I haven’t noticed any thinning of my beard, and I’m definitely in tune with it. I switched to oral finasteride because topical can be bad on pets and I got a new puppy. Also, only the pill version has been FDA approved to treat hair loss.

I gave up on my hair a long time ago and said it is what it is... but you definitely have made me think that there might be a possibility.
I had said the same thing. I was just going to keep it short until I decided to buzz it all off. You Might have more options than you think.
