- Dead Rising is obviously one of my favorite franchises and I'm beyond happy I have finally been able to actually get a fully explained video of this game.
This run goes over All Bosses, New Game, Nightmare Difficulty, and this is all excluding the DLC weapons.
Coincidentally this is also World Record for these parameters.

I believe Annie/Katey is only 17 in this game. She's 7 in 2 and this is 10 years later.
Also I'd argue 2's overtime didn't add to the story, it was more a "happy ending" that didn't develop the plot further. Case West added to the story.
And then in 3 all Overtime adds is "and Nick killed the military guy, and met Chuck Greene" whereas Dead Rising 1 added the orphans plotline which was meant to set up more outbreaks, so yeah even if it didn't pan out that way it actually gave something for sequels to chew on which 2 didn't with the base game (in fact it's Overtime is actively non-canon in favor of ending A) and for 3 it creates a dead end where zombies get cured. So yeah I think that person had a point with how only 1's overtime actually tried to add to the story of the franchise.

A fair and balanced game
You left out the part where you literally cannot win the game without the Mariachi fit. Hardlocks the whole game and explodes the console/ PC.
I'm enjoying your content dude, also your Clock tower run (never saw the game before) on AGDQ was great, very good comentary and entertaining...you definitely deserved a bigger crowd dude 🙂

Deadrising 3 is probably my favorite DR game to just come back to and play i wish it got more modes like 72 hour mode with wandering bosses and minigames similar to DR2. I was gonna fully complete it but save file bugs stopped that from happenang. and I thought the dlc characters with mini storylines were interesting with the psycho DLC feeling the most fleshed out. though they all felt pretty Jank. and Angel's chapter filled me with complete rage
One of the downsides is exclusive Microsoft glass content that introduced a major character
Dead Rising 3 was one of those games I was excited to play with the release of the Xbone. I literally remember nothing about this game and I played it twice.

Also yes, ar doesn't stand for assault rifle but armalight rifle, may have spelled that wrong. It is the style of rifle. AR 15 is the little brother to the AR 10, and it's dad is the M4. Contrary to what most people think for the most part assault rifle is a completely unspecified, analogous word for scary looking semi auto rifle. Also Contrary to popular belief an AR isn't full auto but semi auto, meaning one trigger pull one shot which has been standard on most rifles except bolt action since the lever action got superceded by semi auto at some point in world War one, pre world War 2. Only way to have a full auto AR legally in the US is to have a lot of expensive licenses and tax stamps paid yearly.

That doesn't square. Assault Rifle is not just a buzz word used by media to scare people into not liking guns. It is an official term that has been used by arms manufacturing, governments and militaries around the world. You can find the term being used in classifications in manuals as far back as the 40's. Most typically to be classified as an assault rifle, the weapon must be magazine fed with variable fire selection, or at the very least, full auto capability. typically single/Auto. or burst/auto.
The AR-15 is a civilian pattern rifle modelled after the M4 that is semi-auto, it is not an assault rifle. The German SturmGewehr 44 is an assault rifle (one of the first, actually!). the AK 47 is an assault rifle. The M4 is an assault rifle and so is the British L86.
The M1 Garand is not an Assault Rifle, neither is any other fully Semi-Auto rifle. Saying any rifle that is self loading is an assault rifle is just nonsensical. You aren't going to call a Ruger 10/22 an assault rifle just because its semi automatic. It's a gun for small game and plinking.

I have a question about the dragon gloves, do they have DP priority (invul. frames on startup) ? I've always wondered about it since you're legit doing a Shoryuken with them
Great question, I think you can be hit out of it but they just do incredibly solid damage for the early game
It's crazy you can pay attention to chat, explain things and play all at the same time.

man don't get me started on healing in WoW. Same stuff happens in current season raid for retail - worst part was it was a pug tank who refused to stand out of the lava floor and chucked a hissy cause "the dps are too low an ilvl"... we were all pushing 470ilvl lmao. One of our healers just decided to bear tank still in heal specc and did more than the pug tank did. WoW is wild man

I replayed Case Zero recently and honestly, didn't like it much. Wasn't bad but just felt like as a demo game it did it's job, showing off what the full game would be like, but on it's own not that great.
Personal preference would prob be like: 1, OTR, 2, CW, CZ.

Case West has more issues than I remembered upon replay, 0 felt like a walk back to 1 and 2 and didn't overstay

Did Dead Rising always have so much clutter on screen or is that just a Dead Rising 3 thing? I don't remember DR2 having all too many things going on with pop ups or notifications when going around killing zombies but watching this run there were several times that I just couldn't tell what was going on because of how many things were on the screen.
Dead Rising 3 definitely suffered from modern gaming
