    I also did the Sakinorva test to find my mbti and surprisingly it was accurate. I trust this the most. And the 16 personalities test is just so innaccurate.

    I think this is a good test. However, it's worth doing it more than once, giving a lot of time in between- I think you'll find your answers and results may fit the variability in your personality. We are not all immovable statues - some of us change and adapt over time and in various circumstances. I was surprised with Ni result, but Ni, Ti, Ne are always consistently high. So is Fi. Usually Ti wins but just occasionally it doesn't. I will do the test again in a few weeks once I've completely forgotten how I answered.

      Yeah it's interesting, I've done the test many times and the results differ a little but mainly stay the same. I get worried after a while that I'm just giving answers I feel are right, but maybe not completely...could be time to do the test again haha.

    At the moment I think I'm and ISFP and I mistyped myself as an INTJ for like a year or 1.5 year or so.
    An MBTI enthusiast INTJ internet friend of mine told me that I should try the Sakinorva test too, and I did it,
    and it gave me a pretty clear INTJ stack, although I tried to choose every single answer as honestly as I can.
    So in theory it should have gave me an ISFP result because I answered the Sakinorva test's questions honestly,
    but instead of ISFP, I got INTJ,
    and I think it might be because of ISFP's Fi and Ni combo, and also because I'm at the age (30s) when people tend to start to develop on their 3rd function more and that seems to really skew any test results (if that was the reason then it really skewed the test result in my case at least).
    As far as I know,
    ISFPs have a tendency to use Fi and Ni together to imagine themselves in the future, but imagine their better selves, and improved version of themselves,
    and that could be INTJ or ENTJ for example, and it seems that probably that's why I got INTJ result on the Sakinorva test,
    by the way I get INTJ on almost every test, and I swear I'm not trying to game those tests, that would make no sense, I tried my best to choose the answers as honestly and correctly as I can,
    but I think ISFPs might have a problem with their own self-perception in their 30s because of their 3rd Ni is developing with their improved future-self in mind as a long term plan or however we should say it correctly,
    anyways, I think I made my point, and I really hope this helps anybody who had the same mistyping problem like I had.
    (Although I'm not totally sure I'm an ISFP, I might be something totally different, but I think ISFP is the most plausible to my current MBTI knowledge at least..)

    I really liked your "Stuck in my ESTJ subconscious" video! Actually I like your other videos too, and I wish you have a great luck and a lot of fun and energy to make your videos, I think they are really good and I think also entertaining presentation. Please keep up the nice work! :)
    I think I had something similar happening to me ("stuck in my INTJ or ENTJ subconscious" or what), but I didn't really stuck, or maybe I didn't even unstuck yet, because I still test as an INTJ on most tests, although I don't feel unhealthy or anything, so I'm still not sure what to make of all this..

      Sorry I never replied to this comment! I only came across this now. Thanks so much for your kind words! I need those kind words to keep going on haha. This is very low-level typing of me but you give me an ISFP vibe by how you write :) which I mean in a very good way, why I tend to really enjoy ISFP's company. It's interesting that you still type as INTJ. It would be like me constantly typing as an ISTJ, but then again my lifestyle can appear very ISTJ to others.

      @@vondelpete No worries :) I actually wrote a comment on one of your videos with a bunch of website links about socionics and mbti and I can't remember exactly what else that I thought might be helpful to you and for others,
      but I have a very strong suspicion that UA-cam put my comment into your Spam comment folder (I think it's a tab or something) at your UA-cam Studio Comments section,
      (It's because UA-cam doesn't like links, and I simply forgot about it when I wrote that comment)
      if it's still not automatically deleted, then some of those links might be helpful to you too because it can help to explain/understand the Dimensionality aspect of Socionics, that can be used/applied in MBTI-ways too so to say. It shows that the 6th function is the strongest not-concious function of all not-conscious functions too (I'm still not understanding the exact reason thought, it might be just that this was the observation of the people who built this Dimensionality part of their version of the Socionics system I guess).

    Please read my comment on your Ti vs Fi video. I explain the definitions of all the functions there.
    Ni is essentially 'desire' or 'ambition'
    Also, yes, you would have limited access to the nemesis and critic functions. It's the demon and trickster that you dont really have at all.

      Thanks for everything you wrote, there very good descriptions - it’s funny because nearly everything I know about cognitive functions comes from CS Joseph, and his type grid is probably my favourite tool of them all to use (I was INFP on that too). I think when it comes to these unconscious functions, it all gets a bit blurry - in retrospect I think when I said I felt I had high Ni, it’s more a feeling of having that strong Ni critic, which is possibly just consciously my high feeling of Ne. Anyway thanks for the comment! I find myself changing my mind on cognitive function roles every few minutes.

    I had another result where my grant function was ENTP. But I'm definitely INTP. There's no question. But the grant function of this test does seem to jump around - and the grant function is based on the hierarchy of functions.

  • @Jaxy451
    @Jaxy451 2 роки тому

    Yeah, I'm INTP and my Ni was also verystrobg. In my last test I did a few days ago it was my strongest function. The grant result was INTJ and tge others were, as usual, INTP. So my results do jump around a little.

    Interesting video; interests in taking the test myself now. Btw doubt this made a huge difference but you answered question 78 wrong (as in your words implied one answer but you submitted the test with the opposite answer).

      Haha you're right. I wonder if that skewed the results much...

  • @Jaxy451

    My results show N is extremely strong. T, not so dominant. I, sometimes not so dominant, and P also sometimes not so dominant.

  • @kaisfp

    If you take into consideration the Socionics' dimensionality (it's something like the strength-order/complexity-capable-order(?) of different functions),
    then you would see that the 1st function (INFP's Fi) and the 6th function (INFP's Ni) are supposed to be the strongest,
    I don't really know why would be that true because I have terrible memory as an ISFP, and my 6th (supposedly strongest unconcsious) function is Si,
    so I'm kind of doubtful of the dimensionality part of the theory,
    or maybe I'm just not an ISFP then, but then I have no idea what I am again :)

    • @vondelpete
      @vondelpete  2 роки тому +1

      I really need to look into that theory more, I do think there’s something very special about that 6th function and how it plays out in people. Perhaps if you’re an ISFP, the 6th slot Si relates to something different than memories but maybe just a complex way of interpreting introverted sensory information and processes. Especially when I think about ISFP artists. Very interesting either way!

    Did the test several times with a few days in between - it always said my strongest function is Ni (and that I'm an INFJ), sometimes followed by Ne, sometimes followed by Fe. I'm beginning to think I don't really know how to type myself, but Te always appears to be one of my weakest function, so I guess everything is good 😅. Also did a few Enneagram tests and in none of them 4 was even seen as a possibility. I think I should really stop doing these tests.

    • @vondelpete
      @vondelpete  Рік тому

      Ha that’s very interesting - but I guess not that different in some ways to me with my high Ni (according to this test)…and yes at least you’ve still got weak Te like a proper INFP 😂 it is very hard to stop doing these tests once you start…I am curious what enneagram results you got though!

      @@vondelpete Hi Pete, this is going be a bit lengthy, so I apologize in advance 😅.
      According to the tests I did, I’m either a 2, 6 or 9, even though two out of the four tests suggested I was a 9 and one suggested I was a 6 or 9. I can relate to all of them, but don’t know if I’m as altruistic as 2s seem to be, even though I do enjoy helping others. As for type 9, I definitely hate conflict and enjoy peaceful surroundings but I can get angry, especially when I think I’m or others are being treated unfairly. I basically turn into the Hulk when that happens. Type 6 seems to be very sceptical and have a hard time trusting others, which I think I don’t. I can be sceptical but since I can read people in seconds, I always know who I can trust, therefore I don’t need to be sceptical, if you know what I mean. But I’m very loyal. I don’t know why none of the tests said I was a 4. Was I ever a 4 ? Shrug emoji.
      I took a deep dive into Ni and Ne last weekend and compared myself to my ENTP business partner who loves brainstorming and always sees a million possibilites. But I hate brainstorming and always try to boil everything down to one thing. I'm also not very spontaneous, even though I wish I was, and constantly listen to my gut. After my deep dive I retook the Sakinorva test, and this time I was honest about the whole brainstorming and seeing so many possibilities thing. And what can I say - apparently my Ne is pretty low, while Ni remains my strongest function 😅 . Also, my Fe seems to be stronger than my Fi, but am I really a high Fe user? Sure, I can read a room in seconds, I always know what others feel and I do enjoy solving other people's problems or being someone’s personal cheerleader, but when I compare myself with my ENFJ sister, my Fe isn't remotely as obvious. And there sure are INFPs who do all of these things I just mentioned, right? And your Ni is very high, so maybe some INFP's Ni (and Fe) is just very strong? But then again INFP isn't even one of the possibilities according to my test results 😔.
      Is this a case of wanting to be an INFP? I'm really confused.
      I wish I was my brother who simply refuses to take the test and only believes in what he can see, feel or hear.
      So sorry about going on for hours about this 😳.

      @@emb8319 Ha no that's a fascinating thing to read! With the enneagram, I guess there is nothing conclusive then! And Sakinova then is essentially saying you're an INFJ? There is a very funny grey area here. Even though I never seem to type as INFJ on any test, I constantly come across INFPs who I assume are INFJs, over and over again. I think because INFPs are often very different to me, and come across as more organised and cautious and sometimes seeming far less uh, scatterbrained than me. And there are so many ways to be any type, especially in terms of behaviour, these tests are just not really capturing the essence of a type perhaps.

    • @emb8319
      @emb8319 Рік тому

      @@vondelpete Yes, the test is saying I'm an INFJ, second best choice ENFJ. No choices after that. I guess it's the test's way of yelling "NO, you're not an Fi/Ne user. I even spelt it out for you and you still think you're an INFP". As for the enneagram, nothing is conclusive, so maybe the enneagram type isn't fixed after all.
      I know what you mean about the gray area and do think that INFPs and INFJs are difficult to type. According to the cognitive functions they have nothing in common and yet they seem so similar. And the whole organized/not organized thing can really throw you off.
      Anyways, I've always loved all the INFPs I've ever met in my life and that will never change, even if a test tells me I'm an ESTP tomorrow 🤣.
