I think this review is very harsh on tecca. Although it's not his best album I think the standards he set himself on the first one have sort of diminished the rest of his work including this. Not all projects need to tell a story or lift you from your seat and start dancing, the majority of these tunes are catchy and actually good, so in that sense I think this project was a good return for Tecca and a pledge of more work to come to his fans.

You mentioned the album is mostly vibes and I agree. I found it nice to listen to and I found the beat production to be fantastic. BNYX had some real slappers and there the transitions made project easy to listen to especially while driving. 7.5 outta 10

after listening to 500 pounds single i was exited and was honesty waiting for a tecca comeback but when i listened to the album it was boring as hell, it just faded away into the background and stopped listening midway through the listening

I liked this project I think many of chorus were quite memorable, the diverse production styles hit and his flows and vocals inflections throughout seemed precise and entertaining

I get the view that there’s no creative substance to the album but I really enjoyed listening to it. It’s fun, the beats and flows make it easy to listen to and I think Tecca did a good job. From a critic’s perspective it’s never going to score highly but it was simple and well executed and I’ll be adding a decent number of songs from it to my playlists. I don’t enjoy a lot of rap stuff nowadays but I genuinely liked listening to this.
I really liked this project, this goes into my Luv Is Rage 2, TLOP4, etc. file of melodic trap style records that fantano hates. It's like a 7/10 for me, catchy fun hooks and a variety of flows when I wasn't expecting much.
I feel like tecca would benefit a lot from a constant drip feed of singles or shorter EPs, he is not an album artist but I enjoy his music
