Pump Rock x Heavy Metal is quite possibly one of the most baffling songs ive ever heard
It’s not even heavy metal; it’s just a Freesound metal instrumental and then a single guitar chug over a trap beat. Barely even trap metal.
Though I do at least believe that he would indeed slit my walrus… if I had one.
It feels like a parody of what people who don't listen to the genre think metal and punk music sounds like
I honestly think it could've worked if he at least practiced his screaming. Lol it sounds like he decided on the concept and went for it right away and was too ignorant to notice what he sounded like.

I agree, Lil Pumps debut songs were absolute bangers. They delivered exactly what I want and needed and he did it well. When you listen to doom metal or something heavy hitting, it's nice to take a break and listen to a guy sing about sippin lean and fucking bitches. He really should have not gone out of that dimension.

His story and career truly are a real life version of Thugnificent’s story from the Boondocks. It’s almost like he followed that as an instruction manual instead of a warning.
People like to use the phrase “you fell off” for just about anything, but Lil Pump is a shining example of what that phrase actually means. I thought we reached peak desperation when he hopped onto the Trump MAGA Train in the final days of the 2020 election and made that his whole personality. This thing is the final nail in the coffin. I doubt anybody would’ve known this thing came out if you didn’t make this video.
"Fell off" implies he was ever good. I always saw him as a meme more than a rapper. And like all memes, he's lost relevance after a short amount of time.
