Hi Tamara! Try the BOJ sunscreen…it is great!
Beauty of Joseon is just the best sunscreen I’ve ever tried. It works so well under makeup also and keeps my skin hydrated.
I agree, it is pretty amazing. Glad to hear you are loving it as well.

Yay! The collab we all love 💕 can’t wait to see your spf picks 😊
The Beauty of Joseon is one of my absolute favorite sunscreens 💕💜💕
Hi gorgeous, hope you enjoyed this. Same here, I love the BoJ

Such a lovely treat to see you on Sunday, Gorgeous Claudia! Korean sunscreens are so elegant and use the Beauty of Joseon and Isntree water gel on rotation and both are great under makeup for your makeup wearers. Thank you for being so thorough and giving me more options to try. Have a wonderful time with Tamara! I have a dear friend visiting this week as well. Lots of love and hugs. xo
Hi beautiful, great to read your lovely comment. I am glad to hear you are loving Korean sunscreens as well. Wishing you a wonderful time with your friend as well. Lots of love and a huge hug xx
My holy grail Korean sunscreen is the Skin 1004 Hyalu Cica Water Fit Sun-Serum. It’s amazing overall.
BOJ burns my eyeballs.
I like that one as well. Sorry to hear the BoJ burns your eye balls. Wishing you a wonderful week

Good morning, beautiful Claudia! 😊❤ I was excited to see this video -great topic! And I’m gonna head over to Tamara‘s channel as well! I recently purchased the skin aqua UV super moisture gel 50 Pa++++ and have really, really been loving that! I do have the thank you farmer product, but I end up using it more as a highlighter on top of the aqua gel and that seems to work well! Thank you for these suggestions I am going to definitely check out a couple to add to my sunscreen arsenal! Hope you’re having a lovely day Claudia!😊
Hi Sara, glad you enjoyed this video. You know, using the Thank you Farmer as a high lighter is a great idea, I am going to try that.
And I want to try the skin aqua uv super spf as well, I have heard great things about it and if you love it, I know I will as well
Wishing you a wonderful Sunday

Funny, I've been using the Beauty of Joseon for a while now (it's just such a great formula) and I just finished wrapping one for my niece's 16th birthday when I saw this video. I wish I had an aunt at that age that made sure I got started early. She's gonna age reaaaaally well.
Hi Santana, you are a great aunt and I too wish I had an aunt like you when I was younger!

One of the best reviews I've seen of the Korean sunscreens. Thanks for including an explanation of their rating system. I just love the Beauty of Joseon Sunscreen and have repurchased it multiple times. Like you, I have found it is very moisturizing and doesn't irritate my skin or eyes. I just love it!
Thank you for your thoughtful comment. I am glad to hear your are loving the BoJ as much as I do
Wishing you a wonderful week

Hi again beautiful Claudia 💛 Thank you for this lovely presentation and explanation of PA, I had no idea about this. As many others here, I've been using Beauty of Joseon for some time now andd I really love it! When I first put it on, I was surprised it didn't leave a white film on my face, but back then I didn't know about different types of sunscreens. I am looking forward to your next video and wishing you a lovely rest of the week xx
Hi sweet Agata, thank you for your thoughtful comment! I am glad this was helpful. And I am also glad to hear you are loving the BoJ as well.

I'm obsessed with Korean sunscreens! BOJ is at the top as is Instree. I'd love to see a video European sunscreens too...keep 'em coming Claudia!
p.s. Gary doesn't get excited about my sunscreens either 😂
Hi Mary, I know you love the BoJ as well. It truly is amazing. Maybe you and I could do a European spf video together...I am doing another one with Tamara which has one or two European in it, but we can always make a separate one if we find enough good sunscreens.
Isn't it funny, we get so excited about this stuff and our guys could not care less ;)

Excellent review
Thank you ❤️
Hi Claudia, this was very informative especially about the UVA filters. I have been using the Josie one and it's beautiful. I'm going to try the 1004 coca one you reviewed as i love the ingredients especially the green tea. Thank you for trying these. My skin is on the dry and somewhat sensitive too.
Hi Annie, thank you for being here. I am glad this was informative. I think you will like the 1004 one, please keep us posted

@Claudia Glows - I can see some huge changes in your face from using the Adipeau. It looks so much fuller and more taut!!

Thank you so much for this Claudia! Great to see how the sunscreens look when applied. I’m going to check out the Beauty of Joseon. Can you also do one on European sunscreens?
Hi Liz, great to hear from you and glad this was helpful
Yes, I can definitely do that
Let me know how you like the BoJ

@@claudiaglows Hi Claudia, just wanted to let you know that I LOVE the Beauty of Joseon! It’s the best sunscreen I ever had. The texture is so smooth, it doesn’t stain or sting, it isn’t sticky and it leaves my skin with a healthy, non greasy glow. Just wish they would also sell larger sizes for the body. But it’s absolutely my number 1 sunscreen now. Thank you 👍❤️

New sub here! I subscribed after watching your sculptra video. I have a sculptra consult on April 27 & your video was very informative! We’ll see how the results turn out! I don’t even sit near an open window without my sunscreen on😂! I’m serious. Sunscreen is a no-brainer when it comes to preventing aging! I have pretty sensitive eyes so I have to be careful what I apply around that area so thanks for describing how some of these sunscreens affected your eyes:)
Hi Tammy, I am really happy you are here. And I hope your sculptra experience will be a good one. You might want to ask your provider about Laluma. It is the same material but is supposed to give better results. I just learned about it and will actually give it a try.
Glad to hear you take your sunscreen seriously. If you have sensitive eyes, you might really like the Beauty of Joseon.
Please keep us posted on your scupltra experience

Good Morning Claudia, I'll have to order the Tocobo, a little less glow is my preference. Your lashes look amazing. What mascara did you use? Do you use lash serum on your lashes? You look so cute in your braids.🙏
Hi Deborah, thank you for your lovely compliments. I actually do not use mascara, but I tint my lashes every 2 months. I was using a lash serum by Obagi, which really worked, but I had to stop using it since it discoloured the skin around my eyes.
I hope you will love the Tocobo, it is really amazingly light. Please keep me posted

Claudia, I finally received the Madagascar and green tea sunscreen. I love it more than the Josea. It's so beautiful and silky. Thank you for your research! I'm always looking to try different sunscreens but this one is a keeper. I hope i can find a vendor that delivers it faster. 😊
that is great to hear! Thank you for letting me know Annie

My favorite of the ones you tried is the madagascar centella. I just kept reaching for it! I also have beaty of Joseon, and it's lovely. I have tried several other brands, too, including one from round labs, Verdio, canmake, and more. After jumping into the asian sunscreen pool, i cannot justify going back to american ones. I do love colorscience tinted and and dermatology, however
Hi Colleen, thank you for sharing some of your favorite Asian sunscreens. You are right, once you try them, it is impossible to go back to standard American ones.
Wishing you a wonderful week

Hi Claudia, I stumbled across Tamara’s video b4 at midnite, but Idk HOW I missed urs :/
New generation UV filters etc r now used… my go-to sunscreens tho, have usually included Zinc oxide + Titanium dioxide broad spectrum coverage, a non-white cast & non cancer causing ingredients. Whadaya think? I checked the ingredients of urs 👏🏼, but was too tired when I watched Tamara’s. I’ve been interested in Korean sunscreens for a little while now. Tho I’m so nervous ab change, if anyone can convince me, it’s u :) U seem so comfortable w/Korean sunscreens. I will re-watch. Thanks so much for the great collaboration of coverage 🥲
Hi Valerie, I am glad you found this. You know, I looked at quite a few studies regarding chemical filters and what I have learned so far does not concern me. I think there is a lot of fear mongering going on when it comes to cosmetic ingredients, however in Europe we have much stronger regulations as far as what chemicals are allowed in skincare, than the US. I think we are really a bit behind in the US as far as sun filters and also what should and should not be in skincare. So, to sum it up, I am not worried, but please do your own research. If you end up trying some of these sunscreens, please keep us posted
xx
@@claudiaglows Thx much 🥰 I’ll look into a few of ur goodies later today :)
I use BOJ and Hyaluronic acid watery sun gel. Still not sure which one I prefer. Both are absolutely SUPER! Maybe the first one is a little better with makeup.
Glad to hear both are working well for you. Thank you for sharing and for being here
xx
Hi beautiful Claudia !
I loved your collab with Tamara I am going to try some that you each recommended . I learned more about sunscreen from you today . How do you know the PA ++++ in made in the U.S.A. Sunscreens ? I looked at all mine and they don’t say . The Joseon is so lovely but it broke me out every time I am so upset but I use it on my neck and arms so I still enjoy it and they are saying thank you . I’m so happy you can hug Tamara in person in a couple days . See you in a video with her soon 😘
HI gorgeous Sue, glad to hear this was helpful. Unfortunately the US does not have a rating for UVA, so you just need to make sure it has either zinc or Avabenzone. But even then, we do not know how much it will protect us and % of ingredients does not always translate to protection. This is why I really like these Asian spf's.
Too bad you can not use the BoJ. Maybe some of these others would be better.. The dear klair's is supposed to be for break out prone skin.
Yes, I am so happy to get to hug Tamara and hang out with her!
Wishing you a wonderful week
xx
@@claudiaglows I will try the Dear Klairs it sounds perfect ! 😘😘 your not concerned with the chemical ingredients ?
@@sueanacker2607 No. I think that, esp. here in Europe where we use some of the same ingredients, we have far stronger safety regulations than the US. I hope you will like the DK. Please keep us posted

I found it and will make it today🎉
Thank you beautiful lady😍
Thank you for your recommendations Claudia. What type of skin do you have?
Hi, thank you for your kind words. And great question, I am sorry I forgot to cover that
I have fairly normal, so not too try or oily, skin that can be somewhat reactive
Dear Claudia, thank you so much for all these summer reviews. I was wondering whether you know which of these could be suitable for kids. I know that these filters are not FDA approved, bur seem to be safe. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter. Thank you!
Hi, thank you so much for being here and for your kind words. You know while these filters are not FDA approved, many of these filters are being used here in Europe. And Europe and Canada have mor more strict regulations as far as chemicals in skin care the United States. As far as using these on children, I think it should be completely fine. I do think that the BoJ is the least irritating, as far as ice and skin goes. Really none of the ones I said, I liked irritating, but that one gives me zero irritation, and I would think it would be good for children as well. Unfortunately, these are waterproof, so if you take your children to the beach or swimming, then we’d have to look at something else. I am going to do another sunscreen video, and there might be some good options in that one as well
@@claudiaglows You're great! Thanks so much for the educated response. I truly appreciate it.

Dear Claudia, I have a question for you… I have been using Biossance sunscreen at your suggestion for probably a year now and I love it. I have pretty dry skin and that is very moisturizing so I was wondering if the beauty of Joseon is it as hydrating as the Biossance.❤️
Hi Nana, glad to hear you are liking the Biossance. I would say the Biosancce is a bit more oily and therefor provides more fat to the skin versus the Beauty of Joseon is more hydrating. I think it is worth a try, the BoJ is so inexpensive. Please keep us posted
xx
@@claudiaglows I absolutely will because I am ready to purchase some right now so I will try that one
I had the same experience with that Thank you Farmer product, beautiful finish but fragrance so strong that makes me tear up. Instead of throwing it out, I find that it makes a great highlighter on forehead/cheek or where ever you want it. Most highlighter does not have spf, so makes me fee like I get extra protection using this product in that way. The glow is also so much more natural and does not exaggerate pores like alot of highlighter.
Hi Tina, I’m sorry to hear that one didn’t work for you either. But what a great idea to use it as a highlighter. I will definitely give that a try
x
Thank you for such a deep dive into K sunscreens. I had been thinking of purchasing Beauty of Josean for a while. Currently I use Althelios 50+ UVMUNE 400, as I read that this has a special filter that prevents harmful long UVA rays. Does the Beauty of Josean contain this too? Thank you
Hi Linda, thank you so much for being here. I need to take a closer look at what filter, your sunscreen uses, unless you can let me know. Then we can compared with the filters in the BoJ

Thanks Claudia for another great review. I've been using the Skin1004 and Beauty of Joseon sunscreens for a while and they are great to apply. However, I'm on the quest to find a totally sheer and invisible mineral sunscreen after my doctor advised that relying on chemical sunscreens isn't strong enough to prevent sun spots. If you have any recommendations it would be appreciated!
Hi David thank you for your kind comment!
Do you think your doctor is referring to America sun filters? These new filters used by Asian and European sun screens are so much more advanced than what we have in the US and I winder if your doctor is not familiar with them
I will however keep searching for a sheer mineral spf as well. I have a few coming my way to test and I will keep you posted
xx
@@claudiaglows Thanks for your reply Claudia. I really like the vibe on your channel by the way! As I live in Australia, which has some of the strictest sunscreen regulations in the world, I think my GP was referring to chemical sunscreens that are approved here. She recommended mineral sunscreens containing a minimum of 12% zinc oxide for proper protection. I think that the UV index in Japan or Korea would not be as harsh as it is in Australia (not to mention we are located close to the southern ozone hole). Definitely keep us posted with your findings for the perfect mineral sunscreen - I would be most interested. Thanks Claudia :)

Hey, Miss Lady! I see these are all chemical sunscreens (unless I’m wrong). Do you have any mineral faves? I only use physical sunscreen because every time I’ve tried a chemical sunscreen I’ve gotten burned - despite using it correctly, so I don’t trust any of them. Love your shirt!
Hi girl, yes they are chemical as well as hybrid. If you have not tried Asian sunscreens, I would give them a try. The filters are way advanced from what we have in the US. But, I am doing another Spf video soon, which will cover physical spf's

I love all of these, but they are not water resistant. So, please do review European sunscreens like ISDIN (if you shake it really well, the smell dissipates), EVY, Frezyderm (Greek), Heliocare, and Japanese sunscreens like the Skin Aqua Watery Essence and the gel mentioned by one of your viewers here, and Anessa.
Oops, I meant to say (in addition to the Skin Aqua, also Japanese) Biore Uv Aqua Rich Watery Gel SPF50 + PA ++++ 90ml - for body and face, and the Watery Essence for face... both water resistant. I've used swimming.
HI Katherine, you are right it is a bummer that non of them are water resistant. I will def. review more spf's though. I have reviewed the Heliocare and did not like it at all. It really stung my eyes. But I will take a look at your other suggestions

Hi beautiful wow so many sunscreens. I never tried these. But i do want only mineral one. Usually others irritate my skin. I have been using new one vegan and mineral one , for a year. I really like it. But its expensive 😂 its from Banish. I believe its skincare for acne. I dont have so i dont use anything else from them, but the sunscreen. And of course FDA quick approve some crazy medications and experimental jabs, but not something is much more safer. Like its ridiculous that they do not approve stem-cells for paraplegic its such a scam 😡 Have a blessed day🙏💗

Totally random☺️but you have a beautiful nose Claudia ❤
aww, thank you Nana :)

I react badly to chemical filters, I stick with 100% physical filters. My recommendations are Burnout and COTZ.
Hi Clay, you know I react with the pulley to American chemical filters as well, but these filters are so different and I have not had any reactions. Have you tried Korean sunscreens?
@@claudiaglows Well I actually have tried Heliocare also which apparently uses one of those European chemical filteres and, generally speaking, despite the slight whitening effect, my facial skin reacts much better to non nano zinc particle filter. And it seems to be doing it's job as I do not get either burned or colored. I am assuming you are not a fan of physical filters only?
@@ClayMationNation no, I love physical filters and up until recently that is all I thought I could use. But these Korean formulations are pretty amazing
Hi Claudia. Can you please do a sunscreen review of European sunscreens and compare them to these Korean ones? I am interested to know which out of all you have found offers the highest protection against UVA. Even if it does not look the best I would always choose the highest protection. Also can you choose the highest protection of UVA of mineral or chemical bar none from any country? We can all strive this way for the highest protection even if it is not the prettiest. Thank you!!!!
@@claudiaglows Can you do a comparison video of the top physical and the top chemical sunscreens?
BofJoseon is my go to since last year when I met it by chance ! The best! 4 to 5 yrs ago I fall in love with dear Klair and it was a love at first sight! It was really watery! The year after it was tested and found that it wasn’t formulated as declared! Boom, 😮scandal!!! Later, I believe two years ago it has been reformulated and I am happy it is back again! I believe the texture is much different as before! Korean and Jap are great for Spf! Much love Claudia!
Ciao bella, glad to hear you are loving the BoJ as well. And yes, Klair's in reformulated and tested in 2 independent labs, so it is safe to use again.
Lots of love to you

@@claudiaglows thanks Claudia! Just purchase 3 pcs of BoJ. Next order I will include Klairs! Trust you! ❤️🙏🏻
Hi Claudia,
I just ordered one of the Korean sunscreens from your site. This was a great review on the sunscreens and I learned quite a bit too! I have been using CanMake Mermaid Korean Sunscreen and I love that one. It does not bother my eyes or my skin, and it is good under makeup, the two times I’ve used it this year (the makeup). I hate makeup, but use it when I go out if we are going to dinner. 🫤 However, I read a book on Korean Skincare and The Beauty of Joseon was rated very high. So, I am delighted to try that. I also watched Tamara’s reviews. Sunscreens are very hard to pick out. Either they bother your eyes, they pill under makeup, or they are very drying. I will now get rid of the ones that do not have the ++++ on them, as I didn’t know how valuable it was to anti-aging. I just thought it covered another thing like burning, and Tamara probably covered that, but it hit me like a ton of bricks when you talked about it. I have a thick head, I guess. All the ones that bother me, or I cannot wear, I give to my husband to use. He never remembers to use them though, so they are not helping him. I laughed about your husband not being interested in the sunscreen you showed him. That is a typical man. Don’t throw away your sunscreen you hate or dislike. Use that on your hands (we wash them so often that we have to reapply sunscreen on them so much it gets expensive) or on your arms to get rid of it, unless it will irritate that part of your skin. Thank you so much for your review. Thank Tamara too, when she gets to Paris. How is your little dog doing? ❤
I am so glad this was helpful and I hope you will love the sunscreen you ordered. Is it the BoJ?
You are so right, using sunscreens we do not like on the hands or arms is a great idea. I also use them when I walk my dog, since I do not really care what I look like ;).
Sending you a big hug

Happy sunday claudia ❤
