Alright, I'm an idiot. Somehow during editing the Lone Exile was left out. Not sure how that happened since I wrote the script and recorded it with Lone Exile included but whatever. If you're wondering, I put Low Exile in the Upper Mid Tier before Zephyr as it's pretty squishy.
I was looking at all the classes and realized which ones you didn't go over without noticing Soulhacker and thought you were crazy for putting Lone Exile at the top lmao
Lone Exile is squishier than Zephyr, but it's way better at actually getting aggro. And squishiness can be easily dealt with thanks to healers. Getting more aggro from Zephyr isn't as easy
My personal favorite is a 100 % crit rate Arts spam team! Lapidarist gives everyone +20 % crit rate, Incursor gives itself +25 % crit rate - then add Frenzied Combo to everyone, and Eye for Weak Points to all non-Incursors. Then merely ensure Incursors have 35 % or more base Crit Rate, and everyone else 42 % or more - voila, crits-only Arts spam team. The one Ogre is the exception, being entirely Reactions-focused. Tank is obviously Zephyr, and Lapidarist with the Signifer kit. Best part: No matter how hard the Incursors spam, Zephyr just never loses aggro with this setup, because essentially turns into a Beyblade that _never stops Art canceling_ once a certain Crit Rate threshold from Eye for Weak Points is reached. xD
Imo FMJ should at least be top tier. It is one of the best AOE classes and it has busted evasion. Also in chain attacks, you never miss attacks and thats where the majority of damage comes from anyway. Also since its a Keves class you can give it a smash art and both Jackal Claw and aerial slash that gives it evasion and high Damage multiplier. Kinda sad we never got a Ether Ultimate Qigong (Like "A" has in the dlc) in the main game tho.
@@moosoose4661 It is slower but way safer. Really helps with against Seraphic Ceratinia with his instakill moves and AOE attacks. Also once your in a chain attack the chance that the enemy lives after that is practically zero. And i think in Future redeemed that chain attacks are really necessary since Enemys have such high HP. But yeah in gauntlet they are kinda useless. its kinda like a safety net there. not much damage but it can help you recover.
@bamboozled4912 yeah chain attacks are super overpowered. Generally against ceritinia I prefer to not do a chain attack (even though those are safer) because it's faster not to
@@moosoose4661 Yeah understandable. An instant win button isn't the most fun too lol. Also it interupt the songs and that's a shame (even if i really like the chain attack theme).

I agree. It gets its additive damage bonus super easily, it innately has a skill that lots of other classes want, and it has a really high crit rate to capitalize on the strategies it wants to use.
There's so much wrong with this list lol. Martial Artist should be near the top, face tanks being better than dodge tanks at the end game (hello dodge spam), Lone Exile being lower than Zephyr even though it's almost strictly outclassed by Lone Exile, Swordfighter being higher than Seraph somehow, Soulhacker being higher than Seraph despite having only 3 skills no useful talent art and only getting good arts near the end of the game, Soulhacker being called the best DPS in the game when it can only do that inside chain attacks (and outside of them it's usually outclassed by Seraph and Incursor), and not a single mention of Buffer Soulhacker the single beat build in the game. I almost thought that this was a joke for a bit, but it turned out to be serious, and that's a little frightening.
I’m in Chapter 5 of Xenoblade 3 so far, and I’ve been rocking out with Taion as SwordFighter along with some accessories like Nopon Strap that randomly recharges your arts.
Yes, some Classes are better than others, but honestly I could not care less. I had so much fun with the game and equipped classes as I got them. XC3 is one of the only games that encouraged me to try every class. I usually hate changing classes in games, havig to grund separately for each of them. Not in XC3 though. This game is fantastic.
This video made me realize how little i know of the battle system lmao. I just used whatever as i got it. The classes i thought were good are ranked quite low.
Lapidartist, seraph, fmj and royal summoner imo seem way too low. sword fighter and incursor seem a bit high. FMJ can just be used as an evasion tank if player controlled despite it being an attacker class due to it having the possibility of running all fusion arts evading all attacks plus it's talent art also provides evasion, it being ether sucks a bit cuz no ultimate qigong but despite this, it's not bad. Royal summoner is really good when used in Seraph nuke settups in gauntlet mode. Also for some reason it's talent art is not infact ether it's physical (this means ultimate qigong works with it) Seraph is one of the best ways of getting awakening (a really good buff that op does not touch on at all (awakening also cannot be pulled from signifier) ) and as i said before it's an integral part of SERAPH nuking gauntlet strats. Lapidartist imo should go next to troubadour and signifer cuz it's basically a better version of them as lapidartist preforms better at signifier's job than signifer itself (once you get to that 100% crit rate) Sword fighter does have the strongest art in the game yes but it doesn't have much else other than that and it's inability to take aggro, this is a good thing but if you run sword fighter you aren't running incursor nor seraph. Incursor fits in god tier but not at the top (imo that goes to seraph for reasons mentioned before) but most of it's skills are really nice (especially EFWP as that crit rate is very useful on lots of builds)
Here are the god tier classes in the video: Incursor: This class deals the highest damage of any class in the game. It has insanely fast cooldown times, increased launch damage potential, and doesn't need support from other classes. Troubadour: The Troubadour is the best healer in Xenoblade 3. It can freeze buffs, making the Signifer's buffs infinite. It also makes spamming arts a breeze. Ogre: The Ogre is the best breaker in the game. It can break even the toughest super bosses. Signifer: The Signifer is the most broken support class in the game. It can stack dozens of buffs and share them with the entire party. Soul Hacker: The Soul Hacker is the blue mage of Xenoblade 3. It can learn enemy skills, some of which are very powerful. Once maxed out, there is nothing the Soul Hacker can't do better than everyone else.
if you take into account the challenge gauntlet debuff classes are actually really good, the debuff boosts are great, also guardian commander doesn't struggle with aggro if built correctly and it's definitely better that vanguard give it's skills
I disagree with the Guardian Commander, for me he is the best heavy guard, is true that doesn't make so much damage and it only has one art to draw aggro, but if you put him Resonant Flag and Shield Wall this class can be incredible, his skills are really good, if the enemy is not attacking a guardian it will increase your art recharge speed and with the Talent Art Deflector Field with the Resonant Flag and the whole team will have the Awakening buff and I think the Noponic Champion is the most broken guardian, every time you evade an attack you have a little chance to heal yourself and if a close ally receive damage your Arts will charge so fast and if you die, you will make more damage and more Art Recharge speed
you may as well just make another tear in between the low tier in the mid tier for the amount of times you’ve had to split the mid tier into two groups
I think you severely underestimated noponic champion. I tortured my self by playing the game severely underlevelled on hard mode and without NC i dont think it wouldve been remotely possible. The incapicitation mechanic was very meh but did come in handy during the harder boss fights. It was the healing and art recharge that made it a staple tank for me. In large groups of enemies no tank beats this class period as you can spam evasion arts to no end. On bosses i found it to last longer and endure better compared to zephyr (I did put zephy's talent art on my build though). Overall was useful all the way to postgame.
