@@SportsmanBoatsOffical depends on how much extra cash I save. Shooting for the 234 with the 250 SHO, but would not be disappointed with a 214 with 200 SHO.
Was thinking to myself why would they have that in the B roll in the intro. But, they do build a hell of a boat at their price point. And they don’t appear to cut corners based on the many I have worked on.
The Open 242 is a great boat that is very versatile. We know you'll be happy in one! The SBO community is definitely a great community and they're full of knowledge and can easily tell you why you should own a Sportsman.
I have owned many many boats over the years. Some good, some bad. Every boat has some issue here and there with some being major and some being minor. As an SBO I have never felt more comfortable and reassured in the quality of my "investment" ;) than I am now. I am a solid Sportsman customer for the future.
You folks build a pretty damn good boat…. I work on a lot of them….I could offer opinions on some construction techniques…. But I won’t.,.,. I like the boats….. they are well built…keep it up
I would like to know what CAM software you use in conjunction with Rhino. I work with composites in architectural company but as a sailor and windsurfer, at some point would like to switch into boat design.

@@SportsmanBoatsOffical ok thank you. Any special care if you need to replace a thru hull fittings or any special maintenance to keep the water out of the core around the fittings?
Knowing mine is supposed to Start in 9 days spraying, was great to see what is involved in making of the boat! Open 232
Congrats! We can't wait to hear that you're on the water enjoying your new boat!
Should be putting in an order for a Tournament in about 5 months. So excited.
Which one are you going with?

Great video....sealed the deal over a Georgia built competitor. Purchasing a Heritage 241 soon. Thanks for the video.
This is great to hear! You’ll love your 241!
👌👌👌
Freaks me out every time I see one of those workers fold over one of those fiberglass cloths. Tisk Tisk.

Awesome video!
Thanks so much!
Super Work 🍓🍓🍓 My Work Fishing Boat Fiber Work 👌👌
Great video. Might consider Sportsman 242 over a Seapro 239. SBO Community is outstanding!

I want to make a big speed boat like this and as house boat also.
How did the family with small kids (at 1:06) come ashore dry? Did they fly?
Funny! Good observation.
Would love to own such a boat and show it off there in norway ❤️
I am seriously thinking of starting a boat manufacturing company.
Would be great in the Bahamas
Hi
Those filled in stakes are pretty much extra stringers huh
It's not necessarily a secondary stringer but it does add a lot of extra structure and strength to the hull.
Are these boats foam filled for flotation purposes?
We have a very rigid stringer that gives the boat full support. Then foam is added yes, it works as flotation and insulation around the boxes.
Great video. Is Sportsman
Doing any vacuum infusion on the larger models ?
The 352 is fully vacuum infused (hull, stringer, deck and hard-top)
The 322 and 302 have a vacuum infused stringer and hard-top.
@@SportsmanBoatsOffical ok thanks. How far out approx is mfr time for the 302 if order right now?
Glad to see you’re interested in a 302! If you contact your local dealer they can give you an approximate time frame on build slots.
Any suggestions on who to contact? I am in California and there is not a dealer out here that i am aware of.

What's the bgm title?
What is the cored material made up of?
It’s a PVC high density foam.

Is coring like a styrofoam layer
No, it's a rigid hi-density PVC foam layer.
look like a boston whalers build...
Turn off the annoying music.
