Dr Otek Metal Detector Review | $85.00 Is It Any Good?

Welcome to my UA-cam channel. I'm Snipe Detects but my friends call me Snipe. I have been metal detecting for over 12 years. My first metal detector was a Minelab Safari. I recently upgraded to a Nokta Legend and Minelab Manticore. I live in S.E. Wisconsin and you will see me metal detecting parks, beaches and woods! I wanted to share my experience and love for this hobby to you all through my videos and live streams.

New subscriber here from Western Suburbs of Chicago. Respectfully, I would disagree on the MTXE. I purchased one recently as my first detector and have had good success with it. First time out I found several pennies, dimes, and quarters, a charm, a ring (junker, but nice), and a pull tab. I did notice that the recovery time is slower than what I see (on UA-cam) on other detectors, so you have to swing relatively slow. The pinpoint function worked on every target for me. The targets ranged from surface to a quarter that was about 9" deep. I was in a local park and used the park setting with no other adjustments. Not sure why the one you have wasn't pinpointing. I wonder if it's possible that it's a hit or miss on these as to whether you get a good working detector. In any case, great video and I look forward to more. Thanks!

That machine looked horrible, the 'ghost' signals are frustrating and i put ghost in quotes because i think there is actually something there, the detector just couldnt hit it consistently
