Wow Thank you! I had this great brown gradient that was ending in white even though I had the opacity down to 0. This tutorial made so much sense and you fixed my logo. You rock.
Excellent explanation of a simple task, thank you so much, really appreciated your help on something that has frustrated me for a long time. I spent over half an hour ploughing through several videos each explaining how to achieve this in such a complicated way. I'm now going to gradient transparency the life out of everything :) If you have a video explaining illustrator snap to guides - now this is frustration on another level!
Oh thank you so much! I work in Photoshop and after 20 minutes of aggressively muttering "Why is there no transparency option?!" I was on the verge of stabbing myself with a pen due to frustration. The answer was so simple haha! Doh!
@@Zgnigielniki i was agree, but CorelDraw is full of Crash, specially in convert line to shape and coloring,, Its weird, but i always draw anime in coreldraw
Great tutorial! Would you happen to know a way to use this object's linear transparency as a working clipping mask? I want the contents of the clipping mask to "fade out", but for the life of me I can't figure out how to do it. Thank you!

Thanks, im Corel User and got confuse with Illustrator gradient
It's really incredible how much Corel Draw is easier in creating this effect. It's like two clicks.
@@Zgnigielniki i was agree, but CorelDraw is full of Crash, specially in convert line to shape and coloring,,
Its weird, but i always draw anime in coreldraw
@@qhazev Yeah, stability it's pretty terrible. But Corel is way more intuitive. For each it's own.
