The Aussie Ford Barra six is continually reaching new heights in performance. Nem’s FPV F6 street car recently became the first FG Falcon to run into the 7-second zone. The car still retains an IRS rear end and surprisingly many factory stock engine internal parts. We caught up with Michael from QuickBitz for an inside view on what it took to achieve this impressive milestone. These Ford Barra engines are so impressive. I’m currently looking for an old 80’s Toyota Corolla shell to engine swap and turn into a drag car for a weekend hobby. I’m turning 34 and my partying days are well behind me, time for a hobby to keep me busy lol. The engine swaps I’m considering are the Barra, Rotary engine or 2JZ. My father use to drag race rotary engines. The amount of power they’d be able to put down with those tiny little engines was absolutely preposterous 😂

Ford is amazing, the 4.6 Teksid is another work of art that is capable of huge numbers with factory block, heads and crank. I wish we had the Barra in the states, l have a 72 Torino with a strait six that is begging for a Barra. I'm broke, it will never happen.
Awesome video guys, love seeing the ingenuity of only using what is necessary to really get the most of things whilst keeping it so street spec. I really rate this, and I'm an LS lover :P

I think you owe that toothless, wheezing Mexican at least 2k by now.

Didn't Dion from DMP's FG run a 7 first?
Is it legal to run a cage on the street ?
