MHFzZ - Voljang - First Time Full Hunt - HR6.

My first face off against the Crimson Lotus Lion, an Origin Species of Rajang that bears a thickened rocky hide and upwards facing horns bearing the appearance of a flaming demon, almost like Final Fantasy's Ifrit, he bears the same punch combos as Rajang with blazing suplexes, this is a really seething monkey. (I already hate fighting Rajang enough lol)

It could very well be, i love that uppercut is a counter stance move.

This fight just shows that even the hardest fights are still fair, compared to the World/Iceborn ones.
Due to the older monster programming of react > reposition > interact, it wasn't an sure lose whenever Voljang staggered you, then turned towards you in order to attack you, because you still had enough time to button mash your way out of it.
If it was modern MH, the monster would've just insta dash attacked you 3-4 times as to make sure you will not survive.
