- Experience a double feature of this iconic log flume ride in two different versions! In its former version, Splash Mountain, based on Song Of The South (now only at Tokyo), embark on an adventure through the gardens, Laughing Place and The Briar Patch, where you’ll find Br’er Rabbit on the run from Br’er Fox and Br’er Bear, sneaking and plotting to catch him! In Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, you can sail deep into the swampy jungles where you’ll find Tiana, Louis, and their friends to celebrate Mardi Gras! It’s a special double feature, or should I say, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-DAHBLE feature!

They should have played Friends on the Other Side during the lift to the big drop with Dr. Facilier’s spirit, then Mama Odie would save you as you are going down the drop and make you big at the last second!

The ghost off Facilier occupies a dark side of the bayou and you accidentally turn to the dark side of the bayou instead of making it to the party, you shrink down to dark magic in a horrific version of the bayou with huge insects, snakes, and dark magic surrounding you as you try to escape while friends on the other side plays, when you go up the hill Mona odie comes to save you right before the drop growing you back to size and you safely make it back to the bayou and maybe we could see Moma odie put Facilier back in his place or some form of aftermath to the dark side of the bayou and Facilier
The thing about Splash Mountain was that it had tension and the mood turned ominous and scary before the big drop. It set the mood for the tone of what is about to happen. Then the tension releases with music and singing. Tiana doesn’t have that anymore and the drop feels kinda off. Why is Mama Odie making you go down a drop to get to the party?
I’m assuming when you need to go up to mama odies place, which is up a hill considering when we first reach her we fall down as we shrink, so when you grow you drop down the bayou hill and float back to the party

I’d argue to say the splash mountain animatronics back when it opened in 1992 looked just as good, or even better than the Tiana’s animatronics. However unfortunately they were in as poor of state as Chuck E. Cheese animatronics before the ride closed and most likely destroyed
@@glenncraigmeyer07 and guess who’s fault that would be? Chapek. I still love Splash Mountain regardless. Tiana’s good, but Splash is better than that.
I mean, the ride doesn’t look too bad but I just think it needs a better story
Agreed. Tiana looks good, but it does need a better story. We can have what we’ve got, but add Dr. Facilier’s ghost at the lift hill, and Mama Odie rescues us turning us big at the drop, sending Facilier back into H-E-2x hockey sticks!
