Can't be, just yesterday i told a friend im gonna Start a Legion of Everblight army with Kabalite Dark Elder colours as soon as i know all of them... then this video! good Job and much love from Germany!
I get this question a lot but its all personal preference. I paint around the gun and don't detail those areas hard to reach because you won't be able to see them anyway and it's fine. I only leave stuff out when they are blocking a big part of the model and it's going to be especially difficult to paint. like a cape or a big shield but for the most part I paint models completely assembled.
Oh waw, I want that miniature so bad *_* Now I feel the urge yo buy dark eldar too. But first have yo finish my cadians so... yeah. Anyway, great video, big fat like to you.
Wonderful paintjob! Just got my "Start Collecting" and besides a few basic colors suggested in the instructions manual, i had no clue. One question though. Do you think an airbrush might be a viable plan for such small scale?
Airbrush is great for priming and basecoating for me. Everything else I'm bad at. I can get some basic shading and highlighting but it's dificult. You need to practice with it but if you master it it's great
Necron warriors are super easy. Just base in leadbelcher, shade with nuln oil, re-apply leadbelcher avoiding recessess, highlight with ironbreaker, and use the tutorial for the eyes in this video to do the necron's eyes and plasma gun.
I like this video. It's down to earth and uses a reasonable amount of paints. I wish it were even less, but that's me

Is it a good idea to leave the arms off until after you've painted the chest? seems like it'll be again to detail the chest with the gun in the way

Your voice seems different, however.
