Poor golden boy, I stepped on glass once too (it went right through my fat pad in the bottom of my foot..literally went half-way through my foot!)..I had not just a gash but it looked like it gouged out a huge gash in my foot, I'm not sure if there were shards in mine but they did wash my foot out good which hurt like hell. Why doesn't Kate use a high-powered jeweller's eye piece for such procedures? They can see a diamond's innards close up so they can likely spot small glass shards... Suggestion only!!!!!!!
It seems from watching this show a lot of equipment vets can easily access in North America might not be so available in Australia, like they had an episode with their first ever cleft palate surgery at one place and the only prosthetics sizer in the region who still gets the prosthetics themselves made in the US, etc. I know in other industries like beauty it's really hard to get stuff imported to Australia.
Something of that magnifying strength is more used in vascular surgery, it would be too high powered for looking at the paw for glass. A low tech thing we use, in a people hospital, is masking tape and Elmer's glue.

I love what all the vets do for all animals.
I do have a question this cat is having surgery on his leg and vets are having a little trouble seeing what's going on inside. Can they use eyes magnification when doing this type of surgery.?
GODSPEED for you all 🥰
I was wondering that also.
Dang Tim looks rough like he’s not sleeping enough I’ve never seen him look like this
Lov those Dingos ❤️ the black one is beuitifull don't see that color often Migwech from Toronto ❤️🇨🇦
Can anybody else hear Elvis croc-giggling after getting all the meat?
I just lost my cat. I just need to tell someone. He was 4 months old and ran under foot . I landed on his head. My heart is broken.
I am so very sorry! I have lost a kitten the same way and it is heartbreaking! Don't beat yourself up, it wasn't your fault! Even though it might not seem possible, your heart will heal and also remember the good times with your fur baby!
@@jessajohnson4761 thanks Jess. It's just soo hard to keep remembering when I get home from work he's not there to greet me. To curl up at my feet and pur . I can't even think of getting another. Everyone thinks I should but he was special. Never gave me trouble to shower him and dry him off. He was just precious
@@joevurt4131 Don't give up hope on getting another, but give yourself plenty of time to heal and you will know when you are ready. It's been two years and I just got a pair of brothers, I love them dearly and it has also helped me heal!
Oh no! I'm so sorry!
On with the show . can't wait.time difference it's 9 .15 my time usa
Baby teeth can be retained in humans too. My daughter had a tough baby tooth that actually had grown roots. It had to be removed for the adult tooth to come in. But it was HARD to remove!
I guess the age old question, Where's the beef?, doesn't apply. LOL
21:24 Did the narrator say that Elvis is 5 years old? Earlier in the episode, they said that he was 60 lol.
Awesome job Dr . danni
I highly recommend a dog bootie for his paw. That will protect the paw from being exposed.
You both and l are great. I've enjoyed these surgeries. 🎉❤
I love Elvis’s teeth!
Aww so cute cat and dog my Favorite cats
One of my Top Ten favorite shows
The two rookies - "it's key for them to learn and develop in these areas" - because throwing a slab of beef over a fence is highly technical lol.
they are so CUTE
Great episode!
