Maybe author's intent is, rather than braking, to do a loop in the tube to get to that finish?
It's intended to just wall ride at the normal ending in the tube
That was my thought too. If you wall ride early and loop around and crash into the ground that last fan will suck you into the finish.
That seems like the most plausible application for it as far as the skill check required to make it a "short cut." It's a short cut only if you're skilled enough to whip the thing around to nose dive into the dirt and get a lucky enough bounce to throw yourself close to the thing. However, now that I think about it, Dapper did that one track with the ragdoll tube under the track. He said that you need to "aim a little left because your guy flies off a little to the right. So I'm wondering if the skill check isn't just a wall ride, but a wall ride on the wall to the right, up over, crash on the left side where your left side would be facing towards the normal finish and your right side is facing the secret finish and you'll get yeeted toward the secret finish more consistently.

So if you haven't already I recommend checking out Akane's adventure puzzle maps, where the objective is to find the finish without using photomode.
This would be cool to see. Though I can see it taking a bit of time to do alone, so maybe a race with the other guys to see who can find it first?
I really like your zeepkist videos where you have a secret cheese and get the fastest time right at the end of your multiplayer tracks, I love the reactions from the other players.
When Dapper asked "am I really that bad?", I felt bad to say yes.
He's asking the wrong question though. It's less about him being bad and more about him not being good. I phrase it like that because when you compare how he plays, how you play (if you do play the game and aren't a top player), or how really the majority of Zeepkist players play in comparison to players like Warsnacks, JustMaki, and Sandals; it's less about being bad and more of just not being on their level. So he's not bad, he's just not as good as Warsnacks or whoever you want to name in the top brackets for the game.

I just got a track cheese idea.
It has two routes, with maybe an arrow and a 🧀 pointing to the ⬅️ fork, which is indeed a shorter (but more difficult) route. However the real cheese is to actually drive straight into the arrow, which breaks through a false wall.
It may be pretty obvious to anyone who knows Dapper, but I dunno. Could be fun.
I think there use to be a "bug" where the time would be stopped when you crashed but it'd still count if you went through a finish after.

Maybe you flip around 180° on the moving platform to get the last checkpoint while driving upsidedown. If that is possible you might get into the tunnel upsidedown and go into the secret finish really fast

Maybe wallride at the end starting on left, then across roof and crash into ground at full speed in front of fan for 2nd ending and have fan suck your dead body through?
make a track with shortcut path but with a little twist where if you take the shortcut path you get 5 sec less time but if you don't take the shortcut path and follow the original way then there will be a hidden finish which gives you best time..
Dapper, you need to do a Disneyland based track in here! Lots of opportunities for short-cuts 😄
He'd have to check his ESG scores and make sure his track complies with Disney DEI requirements.
Do a full speed loop left around down into the pit while breaking at the very very end so even though you crash your zeep gets sucked in.
Can you use the flippy bit with the fan to drive on the underside of the track? If you drive on the right side, the fan might help it turn fast enough to make the transition and then you can approach the hidden finish directly, without braking. It's not clear to me whether the tunnel section allows that route, but maybe?
You might be able to get a better approach on the secret finish by looping around the pipe and slamming into the wall.
Because of invisible walls, you really should check in the editor for the extra secret shortcuts.

I had thought about what if you make a shortcuts map, with as many short cuts as possible but the truth is they are all fake, some even get in arms reach of the final one from beginning to end and is dead end. Perfect trolls short cut map.
Couldn't you just smash hard into the wall, and let your character be sucked in and win that way? If that's not the case, then maybe the author wanted you to smash into the wall and crash forward towards the finish, that be slower than breaking to the other finish, but having a wallride as another cheese to be even faster?

At the end just slam the wall and have the fan pull your body back.
