Super/Hypercars hit different in Japan. I’ve even seen the Bosōzoku and Lambozoku for myself a few times. For a few seconds, the noise of the city vanishes into silence... people stop in shock, terror or hype and can’t believe their eyes. And then it drives by with a rumble, making you feel every single combustion in your bones. With a thunderous exhaust note, it hits the gas and disappears into the silent and paused traffic with blistering speed. A few seconds later the citizens go on as if nothing happens and the city noise returns.... but everyone’s heart beats just a few bpms faster than before.... A truly unique experience and, for a car guy like me, one of the best experiences you can have in Japan. This video managed to capture a piece of this magic.
