Sad Story which has affected three lives of three generations. One dead, one in jail for a lengthy period and another left without a Mother for a long time. Sarah Vercauteren bludgeoned her Mother Dawn Wagner to death on New Year’s Eve 2013 with a hammer when her Mother refused to loan her car. Upon realising she was dying slowly she then proceeded to strangle her. Sarah was a hardworking devoted Mother and bubbly shop worker who sadly went down the wrong path. Her Mother wouldn’t want her to have life in prison. She will get discharged from jail one day and walk the streets but that will be some time. Since being incarcerated at Cambridge Springs Correctional Facility, Pennsylvania for female offenders she’s turned her life around in bettering herself. She’s enforced potential wannabe offenders not to engage in crime particularly drug activity, and especially heroin due to it being so addictive. Sarah is paying a price for her crime, she has to live with this everyday. X
