John and Paul singing "Two of Us" in funny Scottish accents and later with their teeth clenched (shown briefly around 2:00) had me laughing at loud. It's the kind of crap I've seen done in bands I played in, and it was great to know even the great Beatles did the same silly stuff. Those are the type of things that make it all fun. Get Back had some fantastic moments and I'm glad I took the time to watch it all.
0:49 i've never seen George laughing at this part! Awwww! 1:45 HOLY CRAP That is heavy and hilarious Great upload, a lot of stuff I hadn't seen. 4:55 great singing from George, great drum fill, great YEAH!
Well there's sixty hours of frustratingly tedious footage from those sessions. The Get Back documentary was only eight hours of the "good" stuff and it was fairly boring and sad, with a few gems hidden here and there. But with George Harrisson quitting halfway through, the band members scrounging together songs under stress and sometimes finding it impossible to progress, in-fighting and disagreements, an annoying director, no clear plan or vision. Maybe not the best of times.
Beautiful. Here they are in the worst period of their majestic years according to books & one dimensional documentaries, laughing their heads off which got me going, especially Paul. John, ever satirical & George, quiet George with a beaming smile that also comes from his eyes🤠😜😆😁.
OOOHHH! I FINALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT PAUL SAID! I watched the let it be from numerous times when I was a kid and never really understood that that was even a joke. I was wondering why they just had Paul talking to himself in the film.
You realize that when the group is poking fun at help, and how they’re able to laugh about the simplicity of the entire thing. Just how far they’ve come by the time of the get back sessions. Like it’s a very easy song and rather simple when compared to the cool bass line of come together or the much improved musicianship of the layer Beatles. But in reality they’re only 4 years removed from writing the song and probably being very happy with it all.
I think this proves they were never too self absorbed or serious. Although they were professional, John was the original Court Jester Punk and the lads knew how to not let fame go their sense of humor.
John was the ultimate self-absorbed jerk who sang only about himself, mocked everyone else's work and wasted their time being p-whipped by Yoko. George had it with him and quit briefly during these sessions, but youll never see that in the new squeaky clean Disney version.
@@steveconn - I am interested in your sources for that. I am not saying you are not right, but how do you arrive at those conclusions? Was there a book you read, because I wonder how you have so much dislike for the man?
John & Paul made the Ballad of John & Yoko also, George & Ringo were on holidays. This was all doom & gloom. Not. John Paul played all the instruments on a great single (can't rmbr B Side🤔) that has been side lined. How they came up with great songs & all so different. Marvelous.
In the spirit of full-disclosure, the visual created of the “obtrusive mock-Tudor shithouses in the way of London traffic” evoked an unanticipated guffaw out of me, well-worth the 5:18 minutes of my time…

Ringo is a natural comedian! When she hits the drum the way he jumps is hilarious! 🤣😁😂
Imagine John and the rest using social media of nowadays. The wittyness and memes we only could imagine!
And for 50 years we were told that the Let It Be sessions were pure misery. And shame on the filmmaker for providing that impression.
I saw Let It Be & it was dire & depressed. And these snapshots weren't in it. God what fun from them all.
It's cgi.
Even RINGO recently said that's the way he recalled it....unpleasant

and you're making that assumption based on just these few clips?
Haha John taking the piss out of Yoko' s "singing"...🤣😂
It prove that he actually loved her, Despite her singing
But their reaction was priceless 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for this. Anything with the Beatles in the studio on film is gold. Great job with the editing too....made me laugh a few times.
Really overjoyed to see them having such a good time together! They were so great comedians!
We're not gonna get any music from them but this is the next best thing

I love hearing the Beatles say "fuck" 😁
Ellos se divertían mientras componen lo mejor que hoy disfrutamos
The Ivor Cutler version of On Our Way Home, priceless.
I absolutely loved Heather's laugh..
So much love ❤️❤️❤️

I can't believe the other three tolerated Yoko clinging to John like that while trying to work.
Love it! ❤️
Okay this was genuinely freaking hilarious

john can be an absolute stand up comedian.
He was so funny. His humour is always one of my fave parts of watching A Hard Days Night.
"Blowing off breezies of wine".
It was a big mistake that they had not active concerts.
