I just bought one and it’s absolutely incredible, so much nicer then what most companies are producing. The sound quality is great. The build quality is amazing. I’ve been a sound engineer for 15 years and I asked my own music, I think it an incredible product. 🎉

If you only want to play records, and the sound quality is good - then great! I think the use case is someone who owns a lot of records already, but has no system currently?
Edit - the Bluetooth does add streaming, so that widens the use cases.

Its sort of the quick and simple route, it does an admirable job for the price. The Bluetooth was a good touch for the person looking to keep costs really low while still hitting a number of formats.

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on this unit. I have very limited space for a stereo. I need an all-in-one if I want to play my vinyl, which has been in storage for decades because of...space. The plethora of crappy all-in-ones on the market proves there is a demand for them. I personally I am glad to see a company finally offering an all-in-one turntable that has the same features an entry level standalone turntable would have, in addition to pairing it with decent sounding speakers, and vibration isolation. I'm looking forward to being able to enjoy my vinyl again without completely sacrificing some of the perks that come with better standalone turntables. Audio snobs can discount this unit all they want, but it fills a niche that has been lacking in the industry for quite some time. The company has already added anti-skate adjustment and auto stop to their latest version of the turntable. I hope they keep improving on the design in the future. One criticism I have...it would be nice to see Stack Stone put up the full specs on their website.

These things always intrigue me, and I almost wish I had a need for one. It would be fine for a kid in their bedroom, or possibly even an older person who just wants to enjoy their music, Of course we always have the experts down below who just have to trash out anything that they don't need or want and deem a POS.

I try to clarify on my videos as much as possible that a product is good for the money or a good value but maybe not a giant killer. Actual "Giant Killer" products are extremely rare, outside of those oddities its best to look at most products within their price ranges rather than say something is bad because it doesn't complete with a product costing 10x as much, doesn't make sense. I dont think it's fair to compare those wide ranges and often times there is a customer for both the low and high ranges. I appreciate both really...

Why did you mount the counterweight upside down?

Looks like a nice little "stereo" for the dorm room or the kid's bedrooms.
(Not available in Canada as of Sept 23)
On the topic of the drive belt... You might be rather surprised to discover how many "audiophiles" have spent $1,000 or more to avoid replacing a $6.00 belt... The secret here is in mechanical advantage ... the motor turns the platter easily... don't use the platter to turn the motor (i,e, don't spin the platter by hand) and the belt will last a good long time. Replacements are available in 1/2" increments from many online sources and electronics part stores.

Yep... it even looks like a nice unit, well thought out. Expecailly that turntable suspension.

    Not "If _your_ the type".
    It's "If _you're_ the type".
"You're" is, in this case, an abbreviation of "you are".
Will the internet EVER get this right?

just like a Crossley POS "turntable". It's a novelty turntable really and your better off streaming or listening to cd's- it will sound better.

If you love your record collection I would avoid it like covid. Much better to buy a reasonably good turntable such as a Fluance RT85 and a good audio interface and digitise your records. Should you record it in DSD. That could be a topic for another video

DSD is the least fit format for ripping records, that's for sure. :)

@@dangerzone007 DSD files cannot be edited, which is about the most important aspect when ripping vinyl. And there's absolutely no scientific proof that DSD sounds superior to other digital formats, except for golden ears stating it to set themselves apart.
