Have the HEV and honestly I can see Toyota, now that they're taking over more of the Daihatsu operations, will unify the Yaris Cross to share the DNGA design but moving to the TNGA platform. Also want to note the spare tire they give is actually a full-size, just not matching the stock tires (it matches stock tires of the turbodiesel Innova). But the wheels are definitely only for a spare. The space can also fit a full size stock tire, and why a lot of owners buy full size tires from other owners who fully replaced their tires and rims. In regard to quality expectations, always tell potential new owners in our online groups to set expectations lower knowing its DNGA. @@noski33 yeah I missed the 360 camera which is not even good on the YX, power seats that I dont need, powered tail gate, I will trade all of those stuff that I dont need for a better built car
The only good thing about this Toyota Yariss Cross 1.5 V is it offers more driver aids compared to the HR-V 1.5 S like the 360 degree cameras, blind spot monitors, wireless android auto and apple carplay and front sensors hence being PHP 80,000 to PHP 100,000 cheaper than the Honda HR-V 1.5 S. But other than that Honda HR-V 1.5 S got it all from engine HP and Torque, overall performance, comfort, higher quality materilas, better NVH and premuim feel and drive.
Sorry peru wala po sa sinabi mo ang naexperiene ko with YX V except with the horn and the monitor. I own one and drove several crossovers and SUVs but YX sets above expectation. You are the only one reviewer na napanood ko with lots of negative comments about this car.. well opinion mo naman po yan as a car expert (?) 😅.
Pati si Auto deal madami sia bad reviews dito sa Yaris Cross V. planning to get one kaya nanood Ako ng reviews.
Typical Toyota for the masses...focused on looks, poor build quality, overpriced; yet it will still sell crazy just because spare parts are available at a sari-sari store & resell value is at Php1.5M after 50 years. 😅
For toyota users like that, they first think of selling the car (resell value) before even buying it 😅
Gotta balance out somewhere. 🤷♂️

For 1.3M, youre better off buying a chinese crossover. More bang for the buck. More features, more power, more safety, better looking etc..

Hahaha. Cars are for transport from A to B not all features, you wxpect to run everyday w/o issues at parts if need to replace it. Who cares for the tech.
Good day po. Yaris Cross vs HRV S po sana. Thanks po.
I dont get people why keep on making daihatsu so bad. Ang wigo nga 10yrs na sa pinas pero solid choice naman. Ewan ko di ko gets talaga mga tao, panay reklamo sa mga choices ng iba. Kundi value for money of yours dont expect others have the values you have. Di nga nagreleklamo yung mga super car drivers ang sikip labas pasok sa car 😂
Build quality, driving dynamics comfort,NVH and safety of Daihatsu vehicles made in Indonesia are really bad.😂
I think because of the recent safety test cheating issue.
1. It's a Toyota
2. It's a Toyota
3. It's a Toyota
Joke pretty much sums it all up why this sells 🤣
tinipid ung exterior, tinamad ung nag paint saka ung nag salansan ng makina😅
Pricy. If that's what under the hood and the specs, considering Toyota's market share. This would have been under 1M.
Veloz din sana below 1m tapos raize at avanza below 800k then wigo must below 500k puro din yon daihatsu e
I own one and its a bad car. It does not drive smoothly and keeps on sort like engine breaking. It jerks a lot. Very picky on the type of gas you load. An octane of 95 below will give trouble in driving. Response is also slow. The CVT get's confused when you're driving. Bette to buy another brand/car. Stay away from this model.
Buyers' remorse? Lack of research? Forced to get one?
why not declare it as actual daihatsu unit?? is toyota desperate? see,,, an example, hyundai and kia one company but 2 different brands.
Obviously car issues coming out and it affects the brand name,,, feels and rides cheap too, correct !!!! c'mon toyota asia!!!!!
Better xpander cross than this price
It looks like a baby rav 4😂
Its better to buy hrv, adas and build quality is better than this one 😂
whew…
Victim of Shrinkflation!
Parts availability daw ang lamang ng toyota 😂 at the first place bakit kaba maghahanap ng parts? Kasi sirain? Sa ibang brand di mo kailangan maghanap ng parts kasi hindi sirain. Yun lang yun.
Totoo namang sirain ang toyota kasi kadalasan nakikita ko sa kalsada mga toyota tumitirik… every 3 months pa e pms…
This model has safety issues. It's production has been stopped due to the issue.

Toyota should stop selling this Model due to Safety Issues issued by Toyota themselves...
I read that they stop shipment before for pther countries but continued in the philippines.
In response to these findings, Daihatsu has decided to temporarily suspend shipments of all Daihatsu-developed models in production, both in Japan and overseas. Toyota has also decided to temporarily suspend shipments of the affected units.
The DNGA-based models such as the Avanza, Raize, Rush, Veloz, Vios, Wigo, and even the all-new Yaris Cross are included on the list. However, units exported to the Philippines are not affected and as such, sales and shipments of the models should continue.
Daihatsu quality!
All your review noise is always the issue..it is normal for the small car. That is not luxury car and most of the car there is plastic inside. Even toyota you feel the car like daihatsu come on.
But there are other small cars that offer better NVH and even cheaper. Why do people like to settle for less just because of the “ brand “ lol
Of course why settle for less when there are better choices for the price? How can you have a nice conversation with your passengers if the honks and engine revs of other vehicles creep inside your car like there is no window or body panels?
Except a 900k Honda City has better NVH. Pathetic Toyota cost cutting.
