Just one correction, B mode is not the most economic mode for any Toyota Hybrid, it is designed for giving extra engine breaking when going down hill when the hybrid battery is already full and thus no longer offers regen breaking retardation. In effect it is rarely used. Drive around town in B mode and it will get you down into the 40’s mpg.
I have the 2024 updated 130ps Premier Edition which is a great car around town and slower country roads. However the internal noise level is about as refined as a 1980’s budget hatchback ergo unacceptable at speeds above 40mph in this day and age and the price point Toyota are asking. Hate to think how noisy it was without the updates, it’s almost if Toyota said they’ve improved it as a cynical marketing ploy. My advice is test one extensively before you buy with the exact trim and tyre configuration you would buy as there’s a lot of variation in noise levels. Even then be sure you don’t expect to go much above 40mph for less than 5% of your journeys. Other than that it’s a great little car that’s easy to average over 65mpg.
Bought my Toyota Yaris Cross Inconic on pcp from carwow. 42 months, deposit £600, 12000 miles per years, 337 per month, but am going to apply for a loan and keep this car. The loan is a bit expensive, but I just realised how much I spend on☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️🍺🍺🍺🍺🍬🍫🍫🍰🍰and can find extra money
Had a test drive in one very cheap interior hard black plastic door handles very cheap feeling noisy to drive not very nice inside like a dacia but Toyota money no thanks
I hate this thing and the Aygo Cross as examples of what's really the matter with our automotive markets and why Toyota has slid far behind its former self. Hint: it's not EVs, it's the profit chasing of crossover-SUVs

Went on a couple of Uber rides in Sydney which used Yaris Crosses and they were perfect for ride share work. Lots of space and quiet inside
50 000 in mine in two years. Genuine 70+ mpg fairly easily. Great, reliable car.
Awesome.
Highly recommend the Yaris Cross. Great all rounder in my opinion, reliable, safe and efficient motoring. Great review 👍🏼
Since turning 40 I've suddenly become drawn to Toyotas and their solid interiors. Never thought I'd say that but it's true
Great review Sir.Torn between a higher spec of this or a lower spec Lexus LBX.🤔
Thank you!
What a treat my favourite car reviewers never disappoint
Glad to hear

Well all businesses chase profits, and if there is a demand for SUV's ( which there is ) then that is what they will produce.
Stupid comment, businesses are in business to make profits, not losses!
WTF is an 'uggzelerator'? 🙉
