Wandering zero top cover rail, wandering zero in rear iron sight due to being mounted to top cover, harder to clean will mean more rust due to corrosive ammunition, proprietary "buffer tube" limits options, the handguard is moved around easily meaning it's useless for IR aiming devices so it's garbage for nighfighting, same ballistics as previous AKMs in 5.45... It's a step back in almost every way. The magazines are the best part of this "upgrade". 2/10

Huh nope. AK notoriously don't withstand mud tests and particles (sand etc). An AK can actually jam pretty easily. I mean sure, the quality of the furnitures and receivers is very good. But that's where it stops.

Yep, AK-103-3 was used to developed AK-400 platform and later current AK-12. AK-203 was restart from the old AK-200 project a.k.a AK-100M project with upgrade the rail system on the old AK-74M series with some features from AK-400 platform, example with name AK-74M with rail system = AK-200, AK-101M = AK201 etc, AK-203 = AK-103M. AK-103-3 is a experimental model for Ratnik project along with AK-12 Zlobin.
In the beginning the AK was the superior rifle to the AR 15 but now they’re trying to make the AK more like it by changing to a caliber with less recoil and changing the ergonomics to add lasers, modern optics, and flashlights.

Seriously? What a piece of propaganda. This weapons system is a known piece of junk that can’t hold accessory zeroes, making IR and visible laser use pointless. The 12 also has a terrible accuracy problem. As well, the AK12 is infinitely more difficult to clean, especially with Russia’s RIDICULOUSLY corrosive ammunition. The selector switch is known to be a weak link that obscures trigger access and when affixed with a folding stock it has more snags than a treble hook. I really don’t know what Kalashnikov Concern’s goals were on this weapons system? Russia would’ve been better off upgrading their 74’s but hey, who doesn’t like a less effective communist army?
